a heart made of flowers on a wall
Lauren C.

Haven't been here in such a long time! Love the decor they added! My husband and I came here for some dessert. Unfortunately, there was no frozen yogurt so we just got cookies. I've been to Arbuz so many times and they have such a great selection of sweet treats. The crepes are delish. Casual place to come with your partner or a friend to enjoy dessert. There's a 5% off coupon when you check in on Yelp too! I'd like to visit their new location in Bay Ridge soon too!

I remember when Arbuz first opened as a froyo spot. I haven't been there in 11 years but needed a good coffee and know they've elaborated their offerings since my last visit. Now they have waffles, crepes, donuts, etc. But...I'm most excited about their coffee bar. LEGIT. I got an iced soy latte and it was excellent. Decently priced too. Looking forward to exploring more!

Iced Mocha

Really sad that the seating is limited to 30 minutes, would have been a nice place to sit down and use a laptop. Bought an iced mocha for $7, it was pretty expensive. Tasted decent but had me on the toilet for hours afterwards.

Cappuccino and berry crepe

3.5 stars but I'm rounding up rather than down. This cafe is a perfect setting for a quick, casual bite to eat. Came here with a friend. We both ordered a cappuccino and they were delicious. We also ordered a berry crepe to share that was excellent. Order at the counter and grab a seat. Service is friendly and everything was made fast. They will call you to the counter to pick up your order when it's ready. Metered, one hour parking on the street in front or there are two nearby municipal lots.

Nutella banana and strawberry crepe

Not something I expect to find in this area. This place is definitely a gem. Been here a few times and I've mostly had good experiences. You can get sweet and savory crepes, waffles, bubble tea, smoothies, froyo and other drinks! My nutella banana and strawberry crepe was good. They didn't put too much nutella so it was just right on the sweet level I like. Good amount of fruit in the middle. Tons of combos to work with the crepes as well. Frozen yogurt is excellent. Reasonable pricing. Their original is my favorite. Good tart level (like Pinkberry). Milk tea is okay. Tastes watered down. Bottom line: a great stop for dessert and hanging out with friends

Regular Liege Waffle
Richard L.

First time coming here for dessert after dinner in the neighborhood and noticed there were 'Liege' waffles on the menu. I was in Belgium 2 months ago and ever since returning, I've been missing Belgian waffles insanely and had unsatisfied cravings so I definitely had to try the waffles here. Suprisingly, they were actually quite similar to the waffles I had in Belgium. In fact, they were probably the closest amongst all the waffles I attempted during my quest to curb my cravings since returning. The biggest difference between the two would probably be that the exterior of the waffles in Belgium tend to be more crispy, giving off more crunch when bitten into, and also has a more caramelized sugar coating. However, if you want a fair taste of what actual Belgian waffles are like, give the ones here a shot. Would likely return in the future to satiate my waffle cravings.

The small panini

The workers are rude, this place is unnecessarily expensive I payed $10 for a panini and it is super tiny!!! Not only is it tiny, it's not even good. My friend also payed $10 for a crepe and it is incredibly tiny. Do not go to this place it is horrible.

Arbuz OVERALL: 7.3/10 Look at the tomato, you can tell it's not fresh. FOOD: 7.3/10 I got the turkey, mozzarella and Basil crepe with an egg added to it. It was alright. The crepe ain't fully crunchy, maybe like 20% of it was crunchy. The taste was good, crepe had a subtle hint of sweetness to it. The white chocolate was pretty good. SERVICE: not a service place. CLEANLINESS: 5.7/10 The tables aren't clean. I don't think they wipe them. ATMOSPHERE: 10/10 It looks nice. WILL I COME BACK AGAIN? Yes maybe more dessert though. #foodie #food #yummy #yelp #reviews #nofilter

OHHHH my goodness is this place good! Its not often I venture into Brooklyn but on a hot summers day and a check with my yelp iphone app and here I was trying to find parking. there is some street parking but I am not going to say its always easy to find a spot. so hot summers day I am wanting to order everything first my salted caramel pretzel yogurt is done which I start and just about lapping up...either I was so hungry or thirsty but this was like the best frozen yogurt I had ever eaten. tasty fresh crepe filled with cheese yes this is good stuff PS YES it really is so good here not just a fluke on a hot summers day... I came back on a cool fall evening and yes as yummy as I believed go here

Arbuz is what this neighborhood needs. fantastic froyo for a decent price, toppings are plentiful and are mainly fresh fruit and mochi which are gummy like jellies. coffee and waffles as well as crepes are served here. the setting is a modern twist on a candy store but the tables and chairs aren't really for lounging. i'm pretty sure they have wifi as i've seen people playing around on the internet. nice store to visit if you are in the neighborhood.

Arbuz is the Russian word for Watermelon. Like it's namesake Arbuz is about light and refreshing dessert that doesn't leave you full and heavy. Their motto is "Frozen Desserts from A to Z". Inside you'll find a selection of Gourmet Tea's and Desserts like Chocolate Mousse and Tiramisu, or you can get a fruit smoothie, but the real star of the show is their Frozen Yogurt. They currently offer four flavors. Raspberry, Watermelon, Pomegranate and Acai Berry, and Original. You can eat them as is or mix in a selection of Fresh Fruit (Mango, Kiwi, Blueberries, Cherries, Strawberries), or Dry Ingredients (Fruity Pebbles, Chocolate Chips, Mini Marshmallows and others). While I was there I heard a few people comparing it to Pink Berry but I've never been so I can't comment on that. The place is aesthetically pleasing and best of all FREE WIFI! Each receipt comes with that days password. If it doesn't work ask the cashier or manager and they'll help you out.

Amey Y.

The place to go for crepes and frozen yogurt. They have a big selection of both sweet and savory crepes (my favorite is the sweet nutella with berries crepe) and several flavors of frozen yogurt (I believe at least four... my favorite being the coconut one) with lots of toppings to chose from. The decore is also very clean, neat, and modern looking. There are cute little tables, two of which are outside in the front. The whole place is very colorful. And you get to watch them make the crepes. Arbuz means Watermelon in Russian.

It would not have been such an inconvenience if it wasn't raining and there was no place to stand for 2 hours. I hopped back on the subway as my only option as I was hungry, cold and wet. After taking the wrong direction to Marcy Ave and getting back on track decided to come back. Got here and asked for the NY Cheesecake crepe with Carmel instead of chocolate and he said he has to CHARGE me for Carmel instead of chocolate. Huh! I explained that I took the subway twice $3 each way because when I got here, the food delivery truck was outside delivering boxes and the sign said opening a 1 pm. Mind you I already said it was my second time here today when I walked in. Really!?! Terrible customer service!!!!!! I'm from out of town but yikes! Being only a few blocks away and rated fairly high, Creperie popped up on my search so I knew I had to stop by on one of my evening walks back from the office. Although a rather tiny little shop, Creperies manages to still have some very limited seating right outside. As well as counter space inside the shop if you don't mind standing and crowding with other people waiting for their orders. I ordered the Strawberry and Banana crepe as it seemed to be a popular option. Size-wise, this crepe is pretty hefty and filling. Comes in an aluminum container so it's much less messy to grab and go. Although sweet, I felt the crepe itself was just ok. Nothing about it really stood out nor made it particularly memorable. They offer both sweet and savory crepes here if you want to make a meal out of it.

Picture this: Friday afternoon, after traipsing from Uptown to BedStuy to get a color correction (thank you, Judith Essien!), I take a stroll along Macon and find this gem of a place. The literal definition of shabby chic in the interior, and just warm and cozy the minute you walk in. I am greeted by the most lovely server (Aziz? I tried looking for him later to get his name, but I'm sure he's West African like me). I ordered Crepe 31 (Smoked salmon, spinach, tomatoes, Swiss cheese and bechamel sauce) of the SPICY variety (they will ask you how spicy you want it); listen I was raised to love scotch bonnets, so I wanted this thing spicy and it was the best!!! What a great balance of creamy, spicy and savory! There's a plethora of crepe options, so I will definitely be back to try the other flavors! Also ordered the Bissap (shout out to the diaspora because this is Zobo in Naija, Sobolo in Ghana, and Sorrel in Jamaica) and it was everything!!! The right amount of tartness and spice. I also highly recommend the turmeric smoothie and the raisin croissant (they warmed it so it was lovely)!!!! I'm coming back next week to try their matcha options and more crepes!
