    Brie In Puff Pastry

We went to Arborvine for our 25th anniversary. I spent a lot of time researching restaurants before our vacation, and this restaurant did not disappoint. The atmosphere was perfect and the food was delicious. We sat on the patio and we both had filets that were among the best we've had. We ordered Brie and the most beautiful flower was used as a garnish on top. Our server noticed that I was enamored by it, so she brought me a little container so I could take it home. Was a great experience and would definitely recommend.

The one restaurant I make sure I have a reservation for in Maine, and the day is planned around this special evening's gourmet dinner. The setting is quite romantic inside. Plan ahead because it is popular for good reason. We always start out with their amazing oysters and craft cocktails. Next, we had the haddock nicoise and rack of lamb that was outstanding . They have an excellent wine selection. I also highly recommend the house-made desserts.

Lovely location and dishes are works of art. (See pics below) Servers know their stuff and are super attentive, Maybe I'm just used to miami rates but for the experience prices are reasonable. Only open for dinner from 5-8. So early bird gets the worm. Worth it!

If you're itching to go out to a nice dinner in the part of Maine, would recommend Arborvine. They have a select menu, and a cute atmosphere. They have an insulated outdoor area, decorated with lights. Romantic spot for a 1:1 or place to take the family. I'd recommend trying the dishes you can't get anywhere else, like the Maine crab.

    Blueberry Wine

Very fancy restaurant just a drive away from Bar Harbor! Would definitely recommend for a nice night out. Extensive wine list, and I enjoyed some blueberry wine shown below.

Ordered the lamb with Orzo... mouth watering with incredible taste snd texture, falafel (Best ever and as a New Yorker of the Jewish persuasion I've eaten a lot of falafel) was incredibly moist. The accoutrements that went with it were outstanding and tasty as well. The three of us shared those two entrées as well as the beet salad which was scrumptious. The cocktails were fabulous... We enjoyed the margaritas which were fruity, flavorful and refreshing . For dessert, we shared the chocolate Babka . Don't tell my Bubbie that it was even better than hers. The only disappointment is that they close for the season, and that's what makes the place extra special for us . See you next year !

We were seated promptly and waited 45 minutes for our food. I wouldn't object completely to the long wait , but the food that arrived was lackluster , and barely worth a mention here. I had eggs Benedict , eggs were overcooked and cold. My partner ordered the shasuka. This was an odd presentation with the eggs and sauce in a broiler dish , with pita bread and spinach on the side. I always assumed eggs and spinach , and sauce should all be together. Like so many restaurants I encounter in Maine , it's not that the food or service is that bad, but rather the fact that with minimal effort , it could be so much better.

I adore bourbon and "old fashions" to be specific. They have a great KnobCreek9 Old Fashioned. I highly suggest it but top end is their forte' so your imagination is your only holes barred. Service lacked attention to detail, especially given how quiet the restaurant was. Glasses arrived spotty, flatware mismatched, and a $14 glass of wine smelled strongly of chlorine. No plates were offered for a shared appetizer, and there was no salt and pepper on the table--we had to ask for both. The food did not justify the price. The Caesar salad was far from authentic--soggy, overdressed, and heavy on vinegar. The steak had a significant amount of gristle, and the mushroom/beef gravy had the taste and texture of a commercial product rather than something house-made. Fries were overdone and served in a very small portion. Most concerning, all four of us experienced stomach discomfort and digestive distress within a short time after the meal. For what we paid, we expected much better. This visit was a major disappointment.

He did point out a few bottles to us that were really quite special and hard to come across. They had some Penelope variants that were unseen to me. I would come back in a heartbeat.
