I hate writing reviews when I don't use a service but here is why I didn't. On October 1, a young lady came out to give me an estimate on two oak trees I needed trimmed. I expected this to run me about $1500 and, based on reviews and radio personality endorsements, I really wanted to use them. She told me it would take a week to get me an estimate (wow, again two trees, not a forest needing work). After 10 days, I called 2 other favorably reviewed companies and had estimates the same day. Here we are, now 16 days later, and still not a word from this company. I guess they are really way too busy, but at least tell me you don't care to do jobs that only have two large trees. read more

Beware of ill trained technicians that don't kknow what they're doing and a company that causes damage to your property and then does not own responsibility for their actions. Arborilogical Services sent a technician out to fertilize and he used an aeration process that punctured all my drip lines in two sides of the house. They came out and fixed some of the damage they did on one side of the house but then refused to come out and repair the rest of the damage on the other side. My regular irrigation company said they see this damage often and that our PVC pipes had holes punctured in them consistent with the damage being caused by the area being aerated. I'm angry they did not do a better job of training their technician and that they refused to repair all of the damage they caused. They cost me quite a bit of money to have their damage repaired. I used them in 2014 and they did a decent job. Called them up in May 2019 for emergency tree clean up and they quoted me a similar price but very unreasonable timelines on completing the work. My job was reprioritized after the quote due to additional storms and I was told I would have to wait for other customers work to be completed up to 10 weeks, when I was quoted 4 weeks originally for the work to be completed. I found a competitor who did the work for the same price and a week turn around, so they got my business and not Arborilogical. I would advise the management to re-evaluate their prioritization methods because your competitors are taking away business you're not willing to take on in a reasonable time frame. I guess I'm not valuable enough as a customer to bother with. I will be happy to include competitors in my future bids just so I can not feel stuck with a long wait. read more

I trust Arborilogical to give my trees the best care available at a reasonable price. I have been using their services for years and have never had a negative experience. The lead time for an appointment with an arborist or to have a crew scheduled to perform work can be surprisingly far out (arborist appointment 2 to 4 weeks and to schedule pruning and additional 2 to 3 months), but they are a high-demand company and worth the wait. Luckily, I haven't had to have "emergency" tree care but I know their lead times were much worse than what I mentioned above after the winds last year followed by the October tornadoes. read more

My appointment was scheduled weeks ago for today June 10 at 1200. I took time off of work to be at home for this. As I type this it's 1245 and no one has shown up. No one has called. I have called the office half a dozen times and no one answers or responds to messages I have left. This is horribly unprofessional. While they might be masterful with the actual work, this is level of customer service is unacceptable. I am frustrated and disappointed that this is how they work. No doubt I should have know better. Do not use them! They did work at my neighbors and damaged my air conditioner. After 5 left messages, no return phone call..we were left with $75 bill to get the unit repaired. Bryan came out and was full of valued knowledge on the issues that our trees were going through. While it wasn't what we wanted to hear, he pointed out the damage that was visible to the trained eye, damage that we personally didn't even see. I have a few live oaks on my property that are 75+ years old and I hired them to come out and remove a massive branch that was growing over my entire roof and would likely begin resting on the roof in a year or so. I got several quotes from various landscape/tree companies and they are by far the most thorough in their analysis, execution and CLEANUP of the work. They have certified arborists that they send out to your house to assess the work that needs to be done, with the top priority being the health of the tree. I called 02/08/2017 to ask about treatment for yellow bellied sapsucker as I had already been told what the problem was and was given an approximate quote but he wanted to look for himself .he looked around and I had to show him where borers had been and was treated 3yrs earlier . I used them over 3 years ago to trim branches, thin out my oak tree and they did a great job. I had them come out two weeks ago to do the same thing. They trimmed most of the branches as the work order specified but they didn't go a great job at thinning out my tree. I emailed them and they said that someone would come out in two weeks to take a look at it. I contacted them and said to cancel the visit, I'll do it myself and will no longer use them or refer them.
