The crew was "Team 3" which did such great work. Less than one day to complete with attention to every detail and excellent clean up. The price was very reasonable considering the amount of pruning, trimming and tree shaping they performed. I wish I knew about this company years ago.

They also pruned the neighbors apple tree that was dropping a 5 gallon bucket daily of split apples in my yard. I have not had one apple end up in my yard since their great efforts. They also trimmed the canopy of a maple in my front yard that delivery trucks kept hitting. Everything was professional from the estimate to their workers arriving on time. I had another estimate that was a couple hundred dollars cheaper but decided these guys were going to use more modern methods of using a lift to get to the high branches. Their clean up job was complete I found a few leaves and small twigs in the yard but for taking an entire tree down they did an amazing job with the haul away and clean up. I would not hesitate to call them in the future if I have need of more tree work.

They were very prompt in responding to my inquiry of an estimate. In deciding to go with them, Gordon and his crew were outstanding and amazing in their removal of the trees without any fence or deck damage. And, all in one day! Their clean up of all the debris was impeccable, including replacing heavy yard items I had not been able to move out of their way initially. My neighbors even complimented their courtesy, professionalism, and care as they had to clean up a bit of lighter debris that had fallen into their yard. Oh, and they were significantly less in their estimate and final cost than any other company I received estimates from. Based on the numerous five star reviews posted here I'm sure I would be quite happy with the work they do. Unfortunately, MTC was the highest bidder (by far) so I really had to go with a more economical choice. Found a small, local company with a great arborist who bid well under 1/2 what MTC was asking. So, if you are price conscious you might want to look at obtaining several quotes. If your prime objective is great service from staff and a great outcome from the crew who does the work, I'm sure you will be happy with these guys. Even though I wound up choosing a different company I felt that anything short of a five star review would be inappropriate since I was totally happy with the treatment I received from everyone working there.

They are communicative, punctual and do what they say they will do. I contacted NW Tree Work based off all the fantastic reviews here. When initially meeting with John…read moreI was told that the project would be done within an hour of there set date. The project being a tree removal, as well planting within a foot away (due to sprinklers only being able to reach so far). With that being said I had set a time and date with them to do the job. I ordered the tree for delivery the day prior, but once the day came for the job it was a no show. Concerned, I contacted NW Tree Work to see what was going on. Turns out they are short staff. I'm pretty reasonable so I go ahead and try to reschedule. This time, I'm told the job is more complex so a new date is set. Once the new date rolls around, again, no show. At this point I'm constantly contacting NW Tree Work to the point they are reading my messages but not replying. I have to call every single time to get a hold of someone, to which I'm told I will get a reply later in the day, and to which I don't. It takes me contacting each day to try and reschedule only to be told a date the project will get done by and for someone to not show up. Big waste of time. On top of that, when speaking to John he assured me the prior weekend he'd get the job done and not only that move the tree out of public view and water it so it's okay. Sadly, none of that ever happened or came into fruition, the trees flowers started dying off due to it not being properly taken care of which it would have been had it been planted as planned. Ultimately this lead to a lot of back and forth. Whether its short-staffed or health related issues, telling a customer a date you're going to get the job done and continuously bailing is not the right response to do. The kicker was John calling me later that day to tell me how to give more trust and understanding to professionals and how delays happen and it's all normal. How about building that trust with customers first by not bailing on them multiple times over and over again, then we can have that conversation. Aside from all the negatives, I can give them credit for at least reimbursing me on the tree (though they only would if they ended up taking it). I'm not typically one to leave reviews, but I think it's important for anybody else on this platform to be informed with what potential risks you have working with certain companies. Emotions aside, this is just my personal experience with the company and for that I would not recommend them moving forward.
