Kitchen was super clean and everything was very well organized. Bedroom was spacious and clean with a soothing decor. Bed was so comfortable that you just sink in for a comfortable nights sleep. Woke up rested and refreshed. Bathroom was clean and stocked with toiletries and laundry detergent for washer which is located in the big restroom and didn't feel crowded. Living room was clean and spacious for gathering and enjoying a quiet evening or a movie night. Back yard was well maintained and clean with a grassy area and private parking. Front porch had outdoor seating for enjoying your morning cup of coffee or tea. Area was quiet and we felt very safe staying here. Would definitely recommend this awesomely cute casita if you're in the San Antonio area. Price was very reasonable for all the amenities and living space you're getting. So far, this place is fantastic!…read more My family - parents, husband, and 2 kids are staying in the Comfort Cottage for 4 nights over the Memorial Day Weekend. Our cottage is just perfect! Downstairs has 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds, upstairs room with 1 king bed, and living room with a fold out couch (2 bathrooms and 1 has a HUGE jacuzzi tub-SCORE!). Plenty of space for 6 people. Great little kitchen. The whole cottage is surrounded by covered porches with rocking chairs, picnic tables, you name it. When I booked our cottage I asked for an outside grill which they delivered about 10 minutes after our arrival. They have an awesome system for "Check-In". No need to hunt someone down. They give you a code that you use for the whole weekend. Electronic lock door. This is perfect, rather than having a key everyone has to share! (also no key to loose!). There are 12 cabins (i think) on the grounds. Everything is very clean, the construction of the cabins is very nice. Huge Bonus for awesome swimming pool, that is mostly shallow end, perfect for little kids. Both ends are 3 feet deep and the middle gets to 5 feet deep. Bonus is a playground next to the pool. We could stay right here to whole time, relax and have fun. BUT, we are only 8 blocks from Gruene so we have to go check that all out and have some cold beers at the famous Gruene Hall. I will definitely call this place any time I am coming to New Braunfels!

They spent hours playing in the lazy river, and they especially loved the water slide, going down it over and over again! There's also a restaurant on-site where you can order food, which is super convenient when the kids work up an appetite. The inner tubes are included with your pass, but make sure to bring your own towels! Another big plus for me was how clean the restrooms were. I felt comfortable taking my children in there and changing them, which is always important when visiting places like this. Now I completely understand why this location is so popular! We made some great family memories, and we will DEFINITELY be back! If you're looking for a fun family outing, this one is worth checking out!

I cannot justify paying this much for a few days .. literally we did it all and did not hold back.. room with patio, valet, pedicures, lagoon canopy, lazy river, breakfast buffet, nightly happy hour and steak house one night. 2 nights, 3 days ... $3400 for 2 people.

A few small downfalls are that the neighbor kids play soccer in the field next to the house in the afternoon and are quite loud and also the place has one window ac unit that is located in the living room and not in the bedroom so sometimes it gets warm in the night. Here's the deal, you're not going to find a better deal, nice folks, and people that care as much about your happiness as this couple. I'll for sure be back!

I had the best customer service by Albert I would email him and he would respond within the hour and he was full of information. Thank you Albert you are awesome I had so many plans but unfortunately it did not go well the swimming hole was closed which was not updated through the website or Yelp. Zip lining no one answered the phone to make a reservation I tried online and they never had an opening- just a note to call the office Jacob's Well also closed Blue hole was open but no swimming allowed Thoughts outdoor activities will likely be open closer to summer possibly in May Even though we were unable to do the outdoor activities we still had a relaxing mini honeymoon and the best part was we brought our Xena and the stores welcomed her It's just another excuse to come back to Wimberley in June when we know everything will be open

We discovered the King William Manor's "Stonehouse" on VRBO and made a decision to stay there for our entire vacation. First off, Allison, with whom we dealt primarily, was very helpful. Not only did she help us with the rental by ensuring everything was ready upon our arrival, but she was incredibly useful by providing us lots of good tips on how to get around and where to eat. The Stonehouse, itself, was just what we were looking for: a chic, stylish home away from home that was also highly functional, clean, ideally located, and not overly pricey. Add the adjacent pool and it was a no-brainer to stay here. Allison and Craig have obviously put a lot of time and effort into renovating this home. Although it looks very unassuming from the outside, it boasts a lot of nice touches inside such as new paint and tile, new granite countertops, a nice HD flatscreen TV, huge master bath, new washer and dryer, and some pretty posh furniture options. It was perfect for me and my wife, along with our daughter and my 74 y/o father. Everything works and the house is/was immaculate. WIFI is fast and reliable. A nearby HEB grocery store is only .5 miles away if you need groceries. Numerous trendy cafes, bars, and restaurants line S. Alamo street upon which this house is situated. Two nearby VIVA bus stops make getting around SUPER easy and cheap. The southern end of the famed River Walk is a five minute walk away. Street traffic is minimal and generally quiet. We all slept well during our stay, especially since the provided beds and linens are so comfortable and soft. Seriously, this place is a hidden gem. It is perfect for a small family or two couples wanting to visit San Antonio. Centrally located to River Walk, Tower if the America's, and numerous dining options (I strongly recommend Rosario's, just up the street), Stone House is a perfect San Antonio vacation rental property.

The property consists of two historical houses, an inground pool behind the houses, a smaller house where the owners live, and a good-sized yard surrounding the whole thing. Craig is gifted glass blower and a few of his pieces have been incorporated into the decor (check out the tasteful, contemporary update on the chandelier in the main house.) Each room is individually decorated, and some great paintings from a local artist adorn the common areas in both houses. Alison is quick to help with directions, suggestions, or assistance with arrangements for local activities. The couple take the comfort of their guests very seriously, to the extent of expanding their culinary repertoire for the purpose of serving a unique breakfast each morning. A three minute walk will get you to the river trail (paved walking or biking trail) which provides a naturally scenic route to the Riverwalk. Alternatively, you can walk through the historic district and into downtown San Antonio and the Riverwalk. But with local artist galleries, several nearby restaurants (two of which are outstanding), and a great outdoor "neighborhood" bar/pub, you won't need to go anywhere to enjoy yourself.
