"OK" "STRANGE" then my jaw pain moved to right under my wisdom tooth. OUCH!!! I decided, If the pain didn't go away by end of my work day, I was going to reach out to my dentist. The PAIN did NOT even wait until end of work day, but instead by lunch time the pain was excruciating. Uh Oh...My dentist is out of state so I decided I better get an in-state dental appointment AND QUICK! So I sent an SOS, can U HELP Me, communication to the Dental Office of Dr. Robert (Dad) and Dr. Aryn (Daughter) Jackson. They took my concern seriously and got me in with an appointment that fit my schedule ASAP. Being able to get a quick appointment allowed me to breathe a sigh of relief. EXHALE.... At my office visit I was not rushed or made to feel sQuEEZed in. I received excellent care, and assistance with my wisdom tooth issue. Dr. Jackson is knowledgeable and so entertaining. If he wasn't a dentist, he could be a stand-up comedian! Laughs helped me and helped calm me, when I was concerned about my mouth. I am a DFW pharmacist of OVER 30 years. My insurance plan recommended this dental office. Everything about my experiences CONTRADICTS the…read morecommunication that I had with the office. Initially I requested service for a deep cleaning. That was not performed on my first visit however I was there for a good amount of time and there was no prior explanation that it would not be completed when I came in. CONTRADICTION! A lot of other situations were including care that done without explaining to me or asking my permission first. Lack of communication! Also I had a prior dentist send very recent X-rays to this office and they still took X-rays again. CONTRADICTION! Secondly, when I scheduled a visit to return for the deep cleaning their AI assistant gave me a wrong appointment date that had to be rescheduled. CONTRADICTION! Next I spoke to office personnel at least two times before going into the office. When I arrived the receptionist told me I would have one quad done. I told her I was told in conversation last week they would complete both on that day. CONFLICTING INFORMATION! Then I was quoted a copay for the service!!! Now I've talked to my insurance provider, talked to the dentist office 2-3 times NEVER WAS I TOLD IN PLAIN ENGLISH THAT THERE WOULD BE A COPAY FOR THESES SERVICES THAT I INITIALLY WENT TO THEM FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! When they had called me to say that AI had made a mistake and needed to reschedule I could have been told then Ms.your copay will be $$$$ for this and an additional $$$$ for that. Another issue is after new X-rays this office never addressed two critical areas that the prior dentist addressed. I never got far enough with them to even mention this situation. This office is so POORLY MANAGED ITS RIDICULOUS. All you have to do is communicate with the patient and explain what is going on in advance. Don't say one thing and then do something else when the patient is in for care. EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION IS GOLDEN. On three different occasions dealing with this dental office has been a waste of my time. If I could give negative stars I would. Then one star is for office appearance.

Like I said, I've never felt more excited about flossing and brushing. I took advantage of a new patient promotion for the office and am so glad that I did. The staff are welcoming and take the time to answer questions. I was not upsold on any service. From what I could tell, this dental office is more interested in giving patients what they actually need and does not try to sell products or procedures that are not necessary. It sounds like they offer a membership for self-pay patients as well that would offest the cost for those who are underinsured as well. Happy with the discovery of this dentist. Well worth the drive from Denton.
