Called for an initial appointment and they got us in within two weeks. They emailed us the paperwork to fill out before hand and have a very handy portal that definitely makes things easier and more efficient for us and I'm sure the staff as well. When we arrived they took my son back in 5 minutes and within 20 minutes he was done! What?! We went to the receptionist to make his cleaning appointment and she said they had a cancellation and if we wanted to wait she could get my son in next (again, WHAT?!) We waited about 30 minutes (well worth not having to come back another day) and my son got his cleaning. My son is 32 with Autism and he is very nervous at the dentist and he can be VERY talkative, the hygienist was so sweet and patient with him and made him feel very comfortable. I'm VERY impressed and so glad I didn't make our decision based on the negative reviews I read on Yelp. I did deduct one star cause the waiting room was pretty run down and could use a good vacuuming. Highly recommend! read more

This was one of the worst dental experiences I've ever had. I went in for a couple of simple fillings and left with a split, swollen lip and pain in teeth that weren't even being worked on. The dentist was rough--she jabbed tools around carelessly, and hit my other teeth multiple times. There was very little regard for my comfort or care. I realize I have bad teeth. I have always been treated kindly and all the other dentists that have been here have been wonderful to me. Steven Marandas the dentist who looked at my teeth today (who said he was the owner), was extremely rude. I have never had such an experience here. I have been going to this office for 13 yrs. I have a lot of crowns I need to get, and I cannot always afford them. He was not even willing to try to fill my broken tooth. I have sent at least 3 people to this office saying how wonderful they are. I will never again go to this office or recommend it to anyone. It was humiliating to be talked to like that. It is hard enough to go to the dentist knowing that your teeth are so bad, let alone feel like you are being judged. read more

Every time I make an appointment here it is canceled by them for some sort of "unforeseen" reason. I had an appointment about a month ago and they didn't even call me and cancel but instead sent me a text, I have tried calling and left numerous voicemails and I have heard nothing back from them still. I was thinking about Arbor Dental today even though my appointments were in August of 2019. I had an abscess which I received meds for and went back after it healed since I needed a deep cleaning. I also was told I should have my wisdom teeth removed, which I knew but had been holding it off for years because I was afraid. The receptionists were all super friendly every single visit (I had four total). The dental hygienist was really good and made sure I was numb throughout my deep cleaning. When I got my wisdom teeth taken out (both bottom ones), I was in and out in 30 minutes. I couldn't believe how fast and painless it was. The dentist was really good at ensuring I was super numb before and during the extractions. The office itself is really nice. Newer with a cozy waiting area and modern and clean procedure areas. I am so glad I found Arbor Dental. Hands down the best dental office I've been to. read more

Bobby was extremely helpful over the phone. I am a waitress because I LOVE people but with my profession I have state insurance. After calling all the providers that accept State insurance given to me by DHS and being denied over and over " ohhh we are not accepting new patients with that insurance, sorry" it was comforting to HEAR a yes. The young man at the front desk needs to be let go. Probably not a bad person, but has no people skills, is rude, and seemingly couldn't care less. This individual should not be the first face or person customers talk to. My other reason for this review is that the dentists there need to communicate what it is they're doing before they do it. Just communicate to us what it is we're undergoing. Sorry Arbor, but those two reasons are more than reasonable. You've lost my business not to mention my confidence. read more

If there was an option to put zero stars, that's what I would've chosen. I had a dentist appointment to get my front teeth looked at and I also had some pain on my bottom teeth that I assumed were cavities. I had my check up in December and they did x-rays and told me I had no cavities but told me I could do veneers for my front teeth which is what I wanted. During the conversation about veneers they did not explain the process at all or how it works, they handed me an estimate and told me to schedule. The next couple of weeks I had intense pain on my bottom teeth like I had told them before and I went to a different dentist to get A second opinion. Arbor dental would not send me my x-rays after I asked 4 different times and got very upset with them. I had to pay for new x-rays at the new dentist I went to for their opinion. At that dentist, they showed me on the x-rays that I did have cavities and then they explained my options for veneers, showed me different colors as well as explained the entire process to me and talked over payment options as well. My insurance isn't accepted at the second dentist for my cavities. I called Arbor dental to schedule an appointment to get to fillings for my cavities after explaining to them that another doctor identified that I do indeed have cavities and I let the second dentist do my veneers because I felt confident in them unlike arbor dental. When I showed up to my appointment to get my cavities fixed at Arbor dental, I had already gotten my veneers done from the other dentist and the nurse who was working with me would not stop asking why didn't get them there & talking to me about them which made me pretty uncomfortable. They also told me that the x-rays they did in December to look at my cavities, weren't taken properly so they couldn't actually see the cavities after they told me I didn't have any. How could they tell me I didn't have any cavities if they didn't check? After they took their x-rays again of their own, they said they were unclear which teeth had cavities so they gave me two extra fillings on the bottom and two random fillings on top and did not explain to me why they were doing this until AFTER. While they were doing my fillings on the bottom, I had to stop three different times because the nurse was hitting my tongue with a suction that was very painful. It seemed as if she didn't know quite what she was doing. After my appointment with Arbor dental they gave me a prescription for toothpaste and I was on my way. I was somewhat Happy with their service because they fixed my cavities. Or so I thought. After I took a bite of a baked good today the pain did not go away. I only feel the pain when I eat sweets and they did not even fix the cavities that I needed. I am very upset with their services and how they treated me. It seems as if they don't care about your health if it's covered by insurance. I had been going to arbor dental for a while until now. And I will never go back, nor refer them ever. Go here if you want shitty service done by people who don't actually care about you only the money. As a side note, the receptionist was openly talking poorly about clients when I was waiting for my prescription. Great service everyone!! read more

I called to schedule an appointment because I received a mailer and the lady that answered was so unenthusiastic and seemed so inconvenienced that I just decided to go somewhere else. If you are going to spend the money to market your community I would definitely suggest having some quality front line staff answering your phones. Saw the dentist for an oral exam and he recommended a deep cleaning, which is what I had been getting. They got me in first thing on Monday and it was relatively painless. I went in with my girlfriend to get her teeth pulled, and I heard her basically screaming in pain from the waiting room. When she was finally done, after an extra hour past the time they said it would take, she was visibly shaken. When we got in the car, she said the dentist was real mean to her. She said the dentist said, "quit screaming it scares the other patients". He also said, "if you don't stop screaming, I'm gunna to send you to a dental surgeon"! I don't normally take the time to write bad reviews, but I felt this is ridiculous! Going to the dentist is scary for anybody, especially when you're getting teeth pulled. This dentist should be alot more understanding and patient. Perhaps he should've used more Nova Caine or something? Today, I went back to have a tooth pulled, the dentist was a different gentleman, never bothered to even introduce himself to me and had zero "bedside manner," come man, you're a dentist, most people don't like the whole experience anyway, the LEAST you could do is be kind and semi-act like you care.......It's part of what you signed up for as a medical professional, right!? I gave a one star rating because of my experience with Dr Marandas himself. my experience with him was very troubling it is a good thing that he didn't put the name gentle in the business name because he was anything but gentle. He lacks a "chair side manner". I would not recommend him to my children or their pets even! with that said, there are three great points with arbor dental itself: 1. the staff was awesome. 2. Dr. Kim Milne (longview office) was very helpful caring and a pleasure to deal with. 3. last but not least. Where do I begin....I went here because I had a really bad tooth ach one morning. I'll start with one good note and the only. The nurses were awesome. I was seen by a male denist that morning. He said oh you are going to have to have your tooth pulled by a oral surgeon, but we'll ask this other male denist frist. Finally after they cancled my appointment and giving me 5 minutes to get to they're office to be seen because the denist wanted to leave early. The dentist says I don't know what this other guy is talking about I can get this out. After 15 minutes of not being able to get the tooth out. My jaw had locked up on me from TMJ. He says I can't get this out she's to up tight. After this experience I went to another denist had my records sent over. They were confussed why they pulled my tooth out, and arbor dental had a plan for a build and crown on one of my teeth. The new denist once agin said you don't need this. Arbor dental is by far the worst denist I've been to. Disrepectfull, unkind, not educated or either a scam artists looking to get your every penny for unneeded treatment plan. read more

I hate to give a one-star review. The receptionist (especially) and all employees are incredible kind and patient. However the owner is an a******. He only comes in on Wednesdays and only to pull teeth he refuses to give you enough meds to make sure you're numb. I was screaming as he was pulling my tooth I could not get away he would not remove his hand from my mouth as he was pulling my tooth it was excruciating. As I was screaming he just kept saying it's almost out it's not it doesn't hurt as bad as you're acting like it's almost out it's almost out it took probably five minutes to get it out. Then afterwards he told me that was harder to get out then I thought it would be. And he is the owner so there wasn't anyone I could complain to. Just before I had my tooth pulled there was an 8 month pregnant woman who had her tooth pulled before me and she had severe anxiety about having teeth pulled and I could hear her screaming during her tooth extraction as well but I figured it was because she was so anxious. I told him that I was not numb and he decided to use a metal piece and slice a piece of my gum and when I said OW he said you're numb enough and I am an incredibly shy person and he's very intimidating so I trusted that because it didn't hurt horribly when he did that I must be numb enough to have it pulled. I was very wrong if you need a routine cleaning or fillings I highly recommend them. But do not get a tooth pulled here. I will be reporting him to the board. He definitely seems like a sociopath/ psychopath. Seems to me like he enjoys inflicting pain. It was absolutely traumatizing and I am now terrified to go to the dentist. I would also like to add I am 27 and have had extensive dental work from braces and pallet expansions which is pretty painful teeth pulled numerous times shots in the roof of my mouth which are pretty painful I've had multiple surgeries throughout my body I've had kidney stones I have given birth. I would choose any of those over having a tooth pulled by this man. read more

No, No, and more NO! Went in about a year ago now, to have a 3-tooth extraction done (that's what I had been told previously), Okay, no big deal. Get there, and they didn't make me wait long or anything for the Dental Assistant to take me back, but then she started putting TONS of those little numb sticks into my mouth.. when she finally came back in to take them out, I asked her why so many for only 3 teeth? She says, "Oh, no. We're pulling them ALL today!" I began to have a panic attack.. ALL of them? I knew they were bad, all of my teeth always were from childhood, but.. I still had 21 of them left! All of them. 21 teeth, all at once, when they had told me 3... I began to feel like I was having trouble breathing, getting a little dizzy, etc. But I didn't want them to sedate me, so I sat down and took deep breaths. Dentist came in, put some novocain into my mouth, waited a few minutes and came back in, pulled a few teeth and then started mumbling about how I had the worst teeth for pulling that he'd ever seen, and I'd better not grow any back... At one point, he was reefing so hard on one I thought my jaw was going to break, when it made a Huge CRACK noise, I jumped, and he says, "Don't do that! It's completely uncalled for!" He left the worst one, the most painful one, for last. It was an eye-tooth that had crumbled down, nearly to the root. Just the tool on it hurt like hell. Well, it's finally over and he throws his tool on the table and says "Cancel the rest of today's appointments, I'm going golfing!" And he left.Later, all I could think was, let me reef on your teeth and jaws and see if you think your moaning and jumping from pain is uncalled for..?" I forget his name at this point, but if I saw him I'd recognize him, an older.. not so gentleman.. Wouldn't go there again if you paid me to. read more
