What a great find in Madrid. So good that after enjoying lunch there, we talked ourselves into going back again for dinner before leaving town.
At first we were disappointed that they didn't have their full menu for lunch and offered instead a pre-set chicken or fish option. But we decided to give it a try and chose one of each. They came with a hummus or soup, and a dessert or coffee to finish...and included a glass of wine (if you like reds don't miss out on the Cepa Bosque Syrah!...had a 2nd glass!). Both of us raved about the food.
When we returned for a dinner, the Oxtail ravioli was the highlight (with more Syrah), but we gladly ate everything on our plates and went home full and happy.
A little bit of a language barrier, but they were gracious and we figured it out together. Seemed like a lot of locals for dinner. The experience left us with a great memory. read more
