First time visitor. I rate Mexican restaurants on their hot sauce and margaritas and I always have to ask for HOT sauce and it was great. Margaritas were okay. Stopped at lunch and the prices were good for lunch and my lunch portion and food were pretty good. My husband had steak tacos and he said the lunch was good but the steak needed a bit more seasoning. I would need to come back again and try something else to determine if they warrant higher than 4 stars.

The best thing about this place for me. Massive frozen margarita.

Food and margarita was blah. Service was ok till we got our food. The waiter never came back. We had to go to register to get the check.

Excellent food and the service is great. I can't imagine why they only have 3 stars. Best Mexican food in Fairfield.

Best restaurant in Fairfield. Super cheap, excellent tacos and everything else is fresh and fabulous. We eat here almost once a week.

Maybe they'll go back to the old ways soon or maybe they're just making too much money this way so they don't want to.. I used to go there once or twice every week I don't know how often I'll go now but the food is really good.

During lunch it gets crowded quick with town folks, MSAE and MUM students trying to avoid horrible food from school so get here for lunch asap. You have two options to eat which are the all you can eat or to go. All you can eat is 8.50 or to go is dependent on the weight of how much food you put in the to go box. Food there is excellent and has that authentic Mexican taste. I especially love their beans and rice. Enchiladas and potatoes are also great. Throw in some guacamole and sour cream, your perfect. I used to eat meat here but I felt iffy afterwards but that's just my personal taste, so now I eat vegetarian here. The Guys who work here are nice and friendly, will help you the best you can. Pros + Good food for good price Cons - Not enough seating so it can get crowded with no where to sit

I am pretty floored about the amount of bad reviews of this place. Did I just catch it on a good…read moreday? I was actually apprehensive to coming here because of all the reviews on here and Google. The only reason I did, is because it was within walking distance, and I couldn't get an Uber to the sports bar in town. They don't have Uber's or taxis here. But I'm glad I came in and ate. Yes it is true, they could do a little bit more cleaning. All in all it wasn't too bad. I do think they should hire a commercial cleaning service though. I sat at the bar, and I was going to try to eat normal, but not today. So I asked them if they could make me a jalapeno margarita, and they did! My server, pulled another server from the back room to make it for me. They don't normally offer them. So that was a nice gesture and started my visit off right. Typical Mexican restaurant decorum, playing Mexican music. I did find it peculiar that they were playing infomercials on all of the TVs hahaha! During the duration of my visit, a lot of local families we're frequenting this establishment, so it can't be all that bad like everyone says. My server was super nice, attentive, checked on me regularly, and was even conversational. A couple other people that work there also acknowledged me which was nice. I ordered the Mojarra (fried Tilapia) a la Diabla. Before my main dish came out, my rice and beans and avocado salad on served to me on a super hot plate. Asked for a bottle of tapatio, and it was go time. My main course came out shortly after. Man all of my food was straight from the stove / oven to my face. Hot, steaming, fresh. I had plenty of shrimp on top of my tilapia, and the sauce was really good. I make that style of fish at home, so I might try making "a la diabla" at home next time. They also have truck parking, for us that keep America moving. I gambled between the two places I wanted to go to today, and since I couldn't make it to the latter, I made it here, so I consider it a win. I'm never in this area, but if I am, I know where I'll be parking and eating next time. I included the entire menu, because from what I understand it's been updated. Oh, I forgot to tell you what I paid for everything. I had a 32 oz custom margarita, two vodka and sodas, plus my food, and my bill was just over $42. I've spent twice as much at other places across the country, for half of what I got today. Just give it a shot. ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149.
