The place isn't particularly clean; perhaps the house is too old, but the caregivers are kind and attentive. There are no paper towels available for us to use. Food was awful, not much nutrition. My meals are almost from frozen food, which they simply reheat in the microwave. They don't provide you with protein shakes, pineapple juice, or zero Gatorade, and they only make you a cheap protein once a night at 10 p.m. As well as no snacks for you to eat in between. They don't allow you to go to kitchen area, my buddy and I figured why because of cheap stuff are in there with a big freezer for their frozen food. You will have to lie in the back seat with your feet up when they pick you up from the procedure and for post op appointments. This is quite uncomfortable because they don't let you lay on the back of the car with the second row of the seats all the way down as most places. Additionally, carry additional faja because they will try to sell it there for $150 for the first stage. They will advise you to wear a smaller size. There, too, I received an IV, but I'm not sure if the person who administered it is a nurse because, after removing the needle, she cleaned with alcohol, which poses a risk of entering your system. I always have an iv drip; no one cleans it with wet pad alcohol; they use gauze. Less than 30 minutes is all that is needed for the massages that are included, as most of us are unable to tolerate longer. Lastly, only the owner Judy and her daughter able to speak English but Judy is not always there. In conclusion, don't use this place if you're looking for a good delicious and nutritious meals for your post op! They will use the cheapest stuff to feed you. I'm glad I'm home to eat and drink a good stuff again!

They don't provide the necessary care for the patients; on the contrary, my mom showed many signs of neglect such as bed sores, she was dehydrated, malnourished and most of the time in a sedated state. They don't deal with the patient's issues, they send them to other hospitals to be wrongly and overly medicated. When we asked questions about our mom's health, Mr. Masconi informed us that we needed to take her out of the facility. my mom was taken to the emergency room without our consent; we were not even notified! As a consequence of these actions, my mom's condition worsen and passed away shortly after. My family and I can't bring my mom back, but we don't want another family to go through what we did.

Granny Nannies was the first company that offered everything we were looking for--and they exceeded all expectations. From the start, the administrative team--including my case manager and the owners, Melvin and Meghan--were consistently responsive, supportive, and genuinely invested in my mother's care. My mother shares her home with her 93-year-old partner, who also has dementia, and Granny Nannies understood the complexity of caring for both of them. Our primary caregiver, Marie A., was truly exceptional. With over 20 years of experience, she brought not only professionalism but deep compassion and warmth to her work every single day. Marie cared for all of their needs--providing physical and emotional support, managing doctor appointments, coordinating care, and keeping the household running smoothly. Her presence brought peace of mind to our whole family. She supported them through a wide range of challenges, including a broken hip, anxiety, depression, and the daily realities of dementia. Marie consistently went above and beyond in every way, and we are endlessly grateful for her dedication. We were also fortunate to have Anna G. assist Marie at times. Anna is sweet, warm, and caring--her gentle presence brought additional comfort and kindness to the home. She and Marie worked together beautifully to provide consistent, high-quality care. We feel incredibly lucky to have had such a remarkable team by our side during such a difficult and emotional time. I wholeheartedly recommend Granny Nannies to anyone seeking compassionate, professional, and truly outstanding care for their loved ones.

Annabel is a very caring professional. She exudes happiness and helped to cheer me up which, I think, helped me to heal. Always helping me with my needs even in the middle of the night and with a smile on her face. I also had a wonderful experience with Thaura Abdalia for several months. Thaura, also very professional and helpful and she is a gentle soul. Always willing to do whatever I asked to be helpful to me. Easy to talk to and my little dog picked up her good vibes and like to hang out by her, she'd get excited to see her when she arrived. I only saw Elizabeth Cruz for three days but I liked her immediately. Also very professional, and couldn't do enough to make sure my every need was taken care of. I would recommend any of these ladies, they would not disappoint. Granniesnannies apparently hires only the best. The company itself needs a little revamping of organizational skills and better technology to track things. This is the reason I gave only 4 stars. The caretakers would get 5 stars.

I stayed at Charm from 7/23 to 7/30 and this was the best part of my entire surgery experience. I had no idea what kind of care to expect and was quite scared of the entire process, but I was blown away with every single person I dealt with at Charm. I don't speak Spanish and most of the ladies didn't speak English but they had translator apps ready and we communicated well. Language was no barrier at all. I learned a few Spanish words, they learned some English ones and we had lots of laughs. I paid for a private room with shared bathroom which was perfect for me. Everything was so clean and comfortable. I stayed the night before my surgery so when I needed to go, they woke me up and got me an Uber to go to my surgery. Maria then picked me up after I was done and took me back to Charm. The amount of care they showed me still gives me goosebumps just thinking about how great they were. When we got to the house they had additional people waiting all to help me inside and get me situated. Then they constantly checked on me and made sure I had food, water, medicine, TV, etc. I had a call button, which I used a lot since I couldn't get in or out of the chair or when I couldn't reach anything. There was not a single request I made that made me feel I was asking too much or I was a bother. I remember when I first had to use the restroom shortly after the surgery and I was standing there thinking to just let me die from this pain as I almost passed out, they were ready with rubbing alcohol spray bottles, holding me up and getting me through it. These women are Angels! I just can't thank them all enough! Adriana, Maria, Leidy, Loreidi, and the other 2 (I'm so sorry I didn't write those names down), I would not have survived this without you all and I am so thankful to you all. I hope I never need to have surgery like this again, but if I do, I will be back at Charm for sure.
