The server served a French onion soup that was charred across the top, the cheese was black, and only offered "I have had it like that and liked it"! Two of us got mussels, the portion was smaller than usual ( I have gotten the several times before) the bread was way over toasted, and when we asked for a bit more of the jus, he came after a while with a cup of what looked like buttered water. My point is, the cooks were not up to usual par, and the waiter did not care about serving. We still gave a 20% tip, on a $500. + bill. But it was not deserved.
