They apparently have a small sign…read moreby the cash register that is not clearly visible with all the clutter on the counter and the employees dont tell you no returns either as they are more concerned with being on the phone then give you customer service. Sad when you have to ask for a bag and your items just get shoved into a cheap plastic bag. Typically around the holidays, most stores make exceptions to their return policies but not greedy sisters.... I like to shop small business but next time I'll stick with pottery barn and save my money and receive better customer service

Fortunately the boards were cost prohibitive, so I just walked away with cards. Parking is plentiful and easy.

That's a great deal - if you've shopped for cards recently; then you know they are expensive. They will be closed soon for a short time while the exterior renovations get completed. The class is well taught with everything you need conveniently set out for you, and the instructor goes through each step along the way. They really make accomplishing things easy. What I thought would be difficult was really quite simple. We stuffed the snowflake wreath with cream cheese and raspberry jam, and we made homemade Nutella for the Babka. It was all very tasty and both were accomplished in three hours.

My first visit, I walked out of there with a wine glass etched with the streets of downtown Carmel, and a pair of wooden dangly earrings made by someone who lives in Carmel. I seriously could have bought so many more things but I gave myself a budget. But I was eyeing a map of Carmel that would have looked great on my wall. In the store, you'll find lots of Carmel-related clothing to show off your school spirit, including Carmel school sweatshirts and Greyhound gear, scarves and beanies in school colors, and more. There are also sweaters and running gear promoting the Monon Trail! You'll also find jewelry, mugs and travel coffee cups, pillows, bumper stickers, and even tins of mints and treats emblazoned with Carmel insignia. And because Carmel is the roundabout capital of the nation, there are roundabout-related things like roundabout playing cards, roundabout posters, roundabout postcards, etc. The people who work here are very friendly, and I also found out that they are volunteers! They work at the store because they love Carmel and want to help promote the city, which is pretty awesome.

Spooky Season is officially upon us. I can always count on Menards every year for some pretty cool…read moreholiday decorations. While they do offer plenty of bargains on general merchandise storewide, the seasonal items can be a bit pricey in comparison. I tend to wait until after the holidays when those things go on sale and save them for the following year. I would say Michaels has similar decorations for about the price point and maybe a better selection typically with some coupons. I was on a mission for some scented witches broom sticks. Inventory said they had some in stock but they were not the scents I was looking for and when I did finally find some they were all combined in a box upstairs from last year with the old leftovers mixing pine with pumpkin spice so I will wait until they get some fresh ones. They were still full price but definitely from last season. Menards is a bit of a hassle with the rebate form that I always end up forgetting to fill out. It's still fun to see what they have though!

I recently did so, expecting to save time and gain convenience, but was sorely disappointed. I placed an order online for a 5-gallon, food-grade pail, lid and lid opener. The instructions that accompanied my order confirmation were to enter the store and follow the signs for in-store pick-up. I did so, and was led from the front door, straight-through to the back of the store, and then to the furthest corner of the store from where I had entered. Surely, I had passed all of the items ordered during this trek. The store is massive, and if you are not familiar with the layout, online ordering would seem like a good, time-saving option, but that turned out to not be the case. Not to mention (as I mention), the "convenience fee" that I was charged to do so. This might be a good option for larger orders, but for the 3 item order that I placed, I would not suggest this.

Clay Terrace is an open-air shopping center/mall that I frequent. There are lots of shops,…read moreincluding but not limited to, DSW, Dick's Sporting Goods, Whole Foods, Old Navy, Bath & Body Works, Soma, Moe's Southwest Grill, Pies & Pints, Hand and Stone, Sur La Table and Kona Grill. There are too many to name them all. The ease of convenience is one of the main reasons that I like it. I can run several errands all at once. The overall experience has been positive for me while shopping here. The sales and service representatives are all friendly and helpful, and the center is well-maintained and clean. They even have umbrellas available for use via the honor system, on rainy days. I like that there are high-end options mingled with basic options as well.

Clay Terrace is a really great place to walk and shop... I do wish there were a few more "grab and…read morego" type restaurants other than just Jimmy John's but there are a great handful of sit-down options. Game Stop, Old Navy, Loft, DSW, Dicks and more... all great places to shop. Nice vibe and great pedestrian crosswalks with the lights so cars don't mow you down. It's a safe, nice place to walk and enjoy a few hours... :)
