If your looking for wheel experts for your high-end vehicle, this is definitely your shop. These guys are not only BBS l/wheel experts but they also install performance parts as well. I first heard about them through instagram, I had a set of BBS wheels that needed to be rebuilt and redrilled and was afraid to go to just any shop. I contacted Ron who was a pleasure to work with and he took great care of me. I drove down from the Bay Area to his shop and dropped my wheels off for him to work on. Very quick turn around, he had all the parts in stock already so it all took about 2 weeks for my wheels to be rebuilt. I took another trip down and had them install a H&R VTF kit on my car as well as brand new Michelin ps4s. The transformation of the car was incredible and they went the extra mile to make sure everything was dialed in. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a great all around shop that will not only take care of you, but treat you like one of their people not just a customer. I definitely plan on getting more wheels done by them in the future. Not many shops you can trust with your expensive cars, but they have experience with everything high-end. TLDR; 10/10 would recommend for any high end wheel purchase/rebuild. I had picked up a set of 118/119's that I wanted to build for my B8.5 S4 using original BBS barrels and hardware but I was told by a shop that there isn't a single shop out there that carries OE forged BBS barrels and my only option would be to do a 3 piece conversion. I wanted to keep the wheels as original as possible so I decided to reach out to AR Motorwerkz and ended up talking to Ron about different options. Fortunately for me, AR builds a lot of custom 3 piece BBS wheels so they had 10" barrels available for my build so I decided to commission the work to AR. One week later, the wheel faces were refinished to brushed w/ a light tint and the outer lips were polished to a high mirror polish finish. Unfortunately, due to my decision to reuse 2 of the barrels that the wheels came with, we had run into some valve stem compatibility issues during install day so I had to come back a week later but Ron did everything in his power to make sure I was taken care of and we had everything installed the following week. I would not hesitate recommending Ron and the team at AR to anyone looking to either purchase a new set of BBS's or rebuilding an older set of BBS's or any other high-end wheel. If you decide to work with Ron and AR after reading this, don't say nobody warned you about him. Asking around about AR while I was waiting for my wheels, it's crazy how this company has 5 stars on Yelp. If you have a friend that knows anything about the car industry, ask them about AR before coming here. I like to support people either I or my friends know. I was referred by TWO friends and still received bunk service. So be prepared, AFTER YOUVE MADE THE PAYMENT. Ron lies about his time lines. A lot of people knows this, he'll give you a short timeline so you will pay. He told me it would take me 3 weeks, but it took almost a WHOLE YEAR for delivery. Ron uses the same excuses over and over. He's in court, someone died, someone's in the hospital or something tragic. As seen in the picture, he told me he was in court on Presidents Day, lol. I wasn't going to say anything about this, til I found out he slapped on 10 year old tires, as seen in pics. Even per him, tires are good for 6-8 years. I was trying to be fair and pay the difference of this tire and a new one. I've given him 4 months to fix it. He never quoted me for the first set of tires and a tail light installation, until the job was completed. Now he's not answering for the difference of the new tires. I didn't mind whatever he made on the first jobs, but now I do. .... Other stories I heard about this guy while I was waiting for my wheels from friends. The team forgot to tighten the locks and the wheel flew off while driving on a freeway. The reason his timelines are late is because he has bad money management and is using your money to cover something he received a payment for. Someone in out of couis looking for him because he paid and then got ghosted. Check out his Better Business Bureau profile, it's in line with this story. .... The $1k I will be paying to swap out the tires to new and safe ones is not a big deal. It's all in the principle of things. I want to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone in the future. Some guys to look into if you're looking for some custom wheels are Supreme Power in Fullerton (who I learned will give you longer, but realistic ETAs) and VR Wheels in El Monte. read more

Huge shoutout to Ron, Adam, and the crew at AR Motorwerkz for the incredible job they did on my 2020 M4. From the wheels to the bodywork these guys took of everything. I purchased a 2020 M4 around September and I knew immediately I wanted to swap out the wheels. I hit up the guys at AR Motorwerkz and they were able to hook me up with a set of 20" BBS LM-Rs with polished lip/brushed face combo and gold hardware. I honestly expected the wheels to be finished in a few months but luckily BBS had my wheels ready to ship and they arrived quickly. From there the boys at AR finished up the custom finish within two weeks and the results were amazing. Pictures attached. However wheels were not enough. I had caught the mod bug and I needed more. Reached out to AR again and they secured me a a GTS carbon fiber hood at a steal and a pair of FRP Dinmann fenders to complete the "look". The pictures honestly speak for itself. From the tear down, to the prepping, and the paint I really appreciated how they kept me in the loop and constantly sent me pictures of the progress. In the end, the car came out looking exactly like how I had envisioned and had surpassed my expectations. White is an incredibly hard color to match 100% and I was pleasantly surprised at how well they had blended the colors of the hood and fenders to the rest of my factory paint. Thank you again to the crew at AR Motorwerkz for the build. I honestly get compliments everywhere I go and they always point out the fenders and hood lol, especially the fenders.
