Specializes in incompetence! Doesn't answer the phone, Came out for HW said, the blower screws were loose and the blower had fell onto the unit. Simple fix but the vent pipe was caulked in and couldn't get to the blower. Tried to get the HW to put a new one in when he submitted a ridiculous diagnoses. When the HW declined he quit the job without even telling me. I found out a week later through my HW! I tore the pipe out myself with a screw driver and had to have the HW send out another team to finish the fix and put the pipe back in. Do not hire this company and beware if your HW suggests them. I report to BBB and submitted a grievance to have them taken off my HW list! read more

He doesn't answer the phone. Our home warranty co sent this guy he came the following day looked at the unit found the problem and left saying he would submit his diagnosis to the home warranty co. I didn't hear anything the next day and finally got ahold of my hw who told me AR declined to work on my a c after him telling me it needs a compressor and will quit anytime. The hw had to send a different company to diagnose it. It was hot and my elderly parent lives with us, It was going to be the weekend by then so we just paid out of pocket to keep from going without a c. If William would have submitted the diagnosis like he told me he would and hw declined to fix it like he said they likely would we would have purchased a unit from him. read more

This company is a TOTAL joke. William came and did absolutely NOTHING. Told me the ac was normal to run all day long and not be able to cool my home cooler than 85 degrees!!! I questioned him about this and said there's no way this is true. What parts can he replace? (home warranty contracted) he said there's nothing I can do the unit is running at "optimal levels" He then ran out of my home! Are you kidding me?? My air conditioner was freezing. I was assigned this company by the home warranty company. The guy came to my home, checked the air conditioner gas and nothing more. He just said that he didn't know why it was happening. Anyways I had to pay $70. I had to pay $450 to a REAL specialist, who found out the internal fan was stuck and had to replace it. They don't exist. One Republic Warranty Company did not give me updates too of what is happening. If I have to wait with a 35ft. ladder service provider. It's 100 degrees outside how can I sleep? I chose AR Heating & AC based on the great views I've heard from people. The person who set up the appointment was nice enough to comply with my request of a call about 30-40 minutes before they arrived so I didn't leave work early unnecessarily. William was my technician. William was wonderful, efficient and thorough. He was able to pinpoint the problem fairly quickly and fix it.  I always get a little nervous when the home warranty company sends someone out because some of them aren't and don't seem that honest and try to up sell you. I didn't get that feeling from this company. William explained everything that was going on and that my units were in good shape and I should have no problems going forward. read more

I saw a lot of bad reviews that made me nervous when my warranty company sent out this company. The reviews looked too bad and outrageous to be fake reviews. To my surprise William responded quick, showed up before noon the next morning after contacting warranty (during the first heat wave to hit Vegas in 2021) and fixed what needed fixing quickly during a global shortage on EVERYTHING due to covid. Been about 5 days and AC bowing cold and seems to be working well. I guess don't judge a book by it's Yelp reviews ? I don't know , but this company worked out for me. Just had these guys out to inspect our A/C before the heat comes for the Summer. I had purchased a Groupon last year but never used it, these guys still honored the Groupon and took care of me. He gave me the estimate of repairs/replacement parts and seemed very honest. Anyone who lives in the South West knows that A/C companies have the upper hand when your stuff breaks. I will definitely have these guys out every year for a checkup Update 22 Mar 2013: So the rental company had their contracted A/C company come out and they guy said everything is fine, doesn't need anything that AR Heating & AC said.... Which is disconcerting because I felt I could trust the both companies but one said it's good to go no repairs nothing and AR said it need $300 in repairs. Guess my comment above about A/C companies having the upper hand was true. Rating downgraded, get multiple inspections/opinions! Word to the wise, don't write a negative review on this company until AFTER they have competed the work or else they will be rude and unprofessional. My earlier complaint was that no one picked up the phone when I called and when they finally called me back after the mold issue was resolved the man said "he really appreciated the negative review" and that after "all he had done for me" to try and resolve the issues. He further more called me "that girl" to my father when he was here to fix the AC. First off, don't call me "that girl". I'm a grown woman and calling me a girl is rude and condescending. Secondly, if your company had really tried to help me you would've A) returned my fucking phone calls and B) come out in a timely manner. If you had wanted me to change my review your company should have the common business sense to act professional and return phone calls. Not be rude, sarcastic and frankly a dick. I was assigned this company by the home warranty company. Initially when I spoke to the owner he seemed very nice and competent and helpful. He seem to compassionate about the fact that I had already been without air conditioning for eight days and had been given the runaround by another company previously. We agreed on a time for him to come the next morning. When he arrived he refused to give his identity to the security guard at the guard gate. This is required for entry into our property. So far so good! I have purchased a groupon for this company in the spring for maintenance. I felt that William was honest with me and not trying to get me to purchase more than I needed. My freon was low, so he filled it up. He told me that the valve was loose, so he tightened it. I called him this week because our upstairs air went out. He came and discovered a leak in our attic. Once he discovered what was wrong, he fixed it quickly and was on his way for a reasonable price. I think AR can be trusted to do the work that is needed and charge a reasonable price. The company was dispatched to my home from the warranty company. The owner showed up. He wasn't friendly and was stanoffish. He didn't show up to fix anything. He was there to diagnose. His main goal is to deny any repair that the warranty company would fix. He asked some questions and then flat out lied to the warranty company in his report about our conversation. He didn't know that he was being video and audio recorded in my home and outside my home. He gave his version of the conversation and put it in his report to the warranty company. I have banned him from my property. I would not advise letting him onto your property if a warranty company sends him to your home. read more

Saved the day for us. We tried using the Yes! service for a heating issue we were having. Unfortunately, they were overpriced, and fraudulent. A technician from AR Heating & AC came within a couple hours, fixed the issue and was extremely professional (and affordable!). I would highly recommend these guys. My AC went out, the extended warranty contacted at heating & ac inc, to come see my ac/ furnace. The blower motor gave out since it is an older unit. I have 2 small children an elderly woman and my pregnant wife apart from my self depending on this company to fix the unit. But because the unit was dirty he didn't want to fix my a/c made a bogus excuse unto why it had to be cleaned by a professional company before he could reschedule to come work on my a/c. This has to be the worst company that I've ever dealt with in my entire life doing anything. No customer service no ability to return a phone call. Between me and my wife we've called 40+ times and have left over 15 voicemails and we can't even get a call back and our AC has been off for two weeks with a 2 year old at home. They are very unprofessional the guy that came out didn't even introduce himself and his expert opinion was and i quote "you aint getting your ac fixed today l. I will send paperwork out later today when i can but you aint getting it today." Insurance covers the compressor and have been aware of this issue. This company was assigned to us by our home warranty company end of July due to a problem with our AC. They showed up very quickly and were able to fix our problem. My husband paid the service call fee of $ 75 in cash and added a $ 5 tip. The AC unit this company installed 2 years ago through my home warranty company stopped working 8/29/18. Granted I wasn't sure if it was the AC unit or the electrical but I left 2 voicemails and requested a service call through the website but no return call. Very nice to deal with, tech came out did a through inspection and cleaned unit and checked vents through out house. Didn't try to sell anything pleasant to deal with. Absolutely horrible. First guy comes out and just flips a couple of switches, doesn't bother looking at anything, and says it's fine. AC breaks again after a few hours. Takes another week for them to come out. Second guy says the control panel is broken, and they would be sending out for it. Several days later we get the call that they are giving up. Terrible experience with this company. First I'd like to find out who those people who get there AC fixed same day are, and how they managed that. It's been almost 3 weeks without AC in the middle of summer and yes I understand you have to abide by the home warranty company and policy but that doesn't give you an excuse to not answer your phone calls or return our calls. When the guy finally came out we told him their company sucks at returning phone calls and he's response was "oh my girl is out on vacation till after labor day weekend." Just keep calling till someone picks up. What kind of shit advice is that? Yeah I have nothing better to do than to call 30 times in hopes someone picks up once... turns out they couldn't fix it that day. After we got everything situated and fixed we called and said they would be out the next day. 3 weeks without AC, what's another day right?
