Specializes in incompetence! Doesn't answer the phone, Came out for HW said, the blower screws were loose and the blower had fell onto the unit. Simple fix but the vent pipe was caulked in and couldn't get to the blower. Tried to get the HW to put a new one in when he submitted a ridiculous diagnoses. When the HW declined he quit the job without even telling me. I found out a week later through my HW! I tore the pipe out myself with a screw driver and had to have the HW send out another team to finish the fix and put the pipe back in. Do not hire this company and beware if your HW suggests them. I report to BBB and submitted a grievance to have them taken off my HW list! read more

He doesn't answer the phone. Our home warranty co sent this guy he came the following day looked at the unit found the problem and left saying he would submit his diagnosis to the home warranty co. I didn't hear anything the next day and finally got ahold of my hw who told me AR declined to work on my a c after him telling me it needs a compressor and will quit anytime. The hw had to send a different company to diagnose it. It was hot and my elderly parent lives with us, It was going to be the weekend by then so we just paid out of pocket to keep from going without a c. If William would have submitted the diagnosis like he told me he would and hw declined to fix it like he said they likely would we would have purchased a unit from him. read more

This company is a TOTAL joke. William came and did absolutely NOTHING. Told me the ac was normal to run all day long and not be able to cool my home cooler than 85 degrees!!! I questioned him about this and said there's no way this is true. What parts can he replace? (home warranty contracted) he said there's nothing I can do the unit is running at "optimal levels" He then ran out of my home! Are you kidding me?? What a jokester, I will tell EVERYONE about this Mr. William. William I never asked you to lie and replace the whole system. I asked you to replace the broken parts. Why did you run away?? Because my husband said bs on the phone to your response?? It is not right that you lied and said my system is in working order. It definitely is NOT. So don't tell me that bs sir. Now my kids and I have to suffer another night in this heat, so yes I was definetly upset! read more

My air conditioner was freezing. I was assigned this company by the home warranty company. The guy came to my home, checked the air conditioner gas and nothing more. He just said that he didn't know why it was happening. Anyways I had to pay $70. I had to pay $450 to a REAL specialist, who found out the internal fan was stuck and had to replace it. Now my air conditioner works perfectly. read more

Funny how I never got a response but everyone else does. Also read there responses to other negative posting, they always say they have the pictures to prove there report but they never post them or share them with the customers. And you know why? They don't exist. They still haven't even given me a report or invoice from them coming to my house twice yet they billed out and got paid even though on the 2nd visit William said he doesn't work on Trane AC units. William refuses to return phone calls or supply invoice or reports. Anyone reading this stay away from this company they are not honest or ethical. read more

I will give your company no star, due to not giving updates regarding the service. Just checked the house and informed me that the ladder that he had is too short. One Republic Warranty Company did not give me updates too of what is happening. If I have to wait with a 35ft. ladder service provider. It's 100 degrees outside how can I sleep? Next time try to reach out to your customer and let them know that you cannot do the job. What if i have a baby in the house? I really had a bad experience so bad.............. read more

I chose AR Heating & AC based on the great views I've heard from people. The person who set up the appointment was nice enough to comply with my request of a call about 30-40 minutes before they arrived so I didn't leave work early unnecessarily. William was my technician. William was wonderful, efficient and thorough. He was able to pinpoint the problem fairly quickly and fix it.  I always get a little nervous when the home warranty company sends someone out because some of them aren't and don't seem that honest and try to up sell you. I didn't get that feeling from this company. William explained everything that was going on and that my units were in good shape and I should have no problems going forward. read more

Very professional. One of the two AC units on the roof of my rental property blew and my home warranty company assigned the replacement to AR and I am very pleased with the result. William came out, assessed the problem, had good communication with the tenant, the warranty company and myself throughout. Good response time both by phone and email. Don't believe all the bad reviews you see on Yelp. Just a lot of complaining people. This company is good and I say you should have the utmost confidence using them. read more

Came to my house for a warranty repair and spent more time commenting on my personal property than looking at my HVAC unit. Lied to my warranty company and told them the heater was working when he left. Now they want me to pay for a second opinion. Be careful of this vendor, I would recommend avoiding. read more

I saw a lot of bad reviews that made me nervous when my warranty company sent out this company. The reviews looked too bad and outrageous to be fake reviews. To my surprise William responded quick, showed up before noon the next morning after contacting warranty (during the first heat wave to hit Vegas in 2021) and fixed what needed fixing quickly during a global shortage on EVERYTHING due to covid. Been about 5 days and AC bowing cold and seems to be working well. I guess don't judge a book by it's Yelp reviews ? I don't know , but this company worked out for me. My only complaint was I signed for the work electronically figuring I'd receive an invoice by email and no invoice was ever provided. read more

Just had these guys out to inspect our A/C before the heat comes for the Summer. I had purchased a Groupon last year but never used it, these guys still honored the Groupon and took care of me. He gave me the estimate of repairs/replacement parts and seemed very honest. Anyone who lives in the South West knows that A/C companies have the upper hand when your stuff breaks. I will definitely have these guys out every year for a checkup Update 22 Mar 2013: So the rental company had their contracted A/C company come out and they guy said everything is fine, doesn't need anything that AR Heating & AC said.... Which is disconcerting because I felt I could trust the both companies but one said it's good to go no repairs nothing and AR said it need $300 in repairs. Guess my comment above about A/C companies having the upper hand was true. Rating downgraded, get multiple inspections/opinions! I'll be having a 3rd company out to make the final decision. read more

Word to the wise, don't write a negative review on this company until AFTER they have competed the work or else they will be rude and unprofessional. My earlier complaint was that no one picked up the phone when I called and when they finally called me back after the mold issue was resolved the man said "he really appreciated the negative review" and that after "all he had done for me" to try and resolve the issues. He further more called me "that girl" to my father when he was here to fix the AC. First off, don't call me "that girl". I'm a grown woman and calling me a girl is rude and condescending. Secondly, if your company had really tried to help me you would've A) returned my fucking phone calls and B) come out in a timely manner. If you had wanted me to change my review your company should have the common business sense to act professional and return phone calls. Not be rude, sarcastic and frankly a dick. Don't be a dick company in the modern age. A copy of this review shall be going on all of the major Facebook groups to warn them of your shitty service. read more

Jeremiah, the tech, is friendly, professional and great at what he is doing. I read the other reviews and I need to write something because this company is definitely much better than many other HVAC companies I had worked with in Las Vegas area. They are very efficient, responsive and capable... read more

I was assigned this company by the home warranty company. Initially when I spoke to the owner he seemed very nice and competent and helpful. He seem to compassionate about the fact that I had already been without air conditioning for eight days and had been given the runaround by another company previously. We agreed on a time for him to come the next morning. When he arrived he refused to give his identity to the security guard at the guard gate. This is required for entry into our property. He never did get in. He never called me never apologized. Never explained why he didn't give us ID. Nonetheless he didBuild a home warranty company and they paid him. I'm very disappointed. I'm still without air-conditioning and now it's 11 days. read more

So far so good! I have purchased a groupon for this company in the spring for maintenance. I felt that William was honest with me and not trying to get me to purchase more than I needed. My freon was low, so he filled it up. He told me that the valve was loose, so he tightened it. I called him this week because our upstairs air went out. He came and discovered a leak in our attic. Once he discovered what was wrong, he fixed it quickly and was on his way for a reasonable price. I think AR can be trusted to do the work that is needed and charge a reasonable price. What more can you ask for? read more

Saved the day for us. We tried using the Yes! service for a heating issue we were having. Unfortunately, they were overpriced, and fraudulent. A technician from AR Heating & AC came within a couple hours, fixed the issue and was extremely professional (and affordable!). I would highly recommend these guys. Most importantly, everything in the house is working great. read more

The company was dispatched to my home from the warranty company. The owner showed up. He wasn't friendly and was stanoffish. He didn't show up to fix anything. He was there to diagnose. His main goal is to deny any repair that the warranty company would fix. He asked some questions and then flat out lied to the warranty company in his report about our conversation. He didn't know that he was being video and audio recorded in my home and outside my home. He gave his version of the conversation and put it in his report to the warranty company. I have banned him from my property. I would not advise letting him onto your property if a warranty company sends him to your home. read more

We always have excellent service with AR Heating & AC. We are very satisfied customers especially with the Technicians they always send to our House serviced 3 times a year. I wanted to give a special shout out to William L. He was the our Tech who recently came out and was excellent!! He was very professional and gave us a lot of good advice. read more

William came out as a second opinion and I was so glad he did! Ended up I needed a new AC and he handled the whole process with my home warranty with ease. Great communication, professionalism and follow up! he even called to let me know the crane was on it's way and so was he- that head's up was really nice! Thanks to AR I am keeping cool and saving money this summer! read more

My AC went out, the extended warranty contacted at heating & ac inc, to come see my ac/ furnace. The blower motor gave out since it is an older unit. I have 2 small children an elderly woman and my pregnant wife apart from my self depending on this company to fix the unit. But because the unit was dirty he didn't want to fix my a/c made a bogus excuse unto why it had to be cleaned by a professional company before he could reschedule to come work on my a/c. Not a good company to deal with very unprofessional. read more

This has to be the worst company that I've ever dealt with in my entire life doing anything. No customer service no ability to return a phone call. Between me and my wife we've called 40+ times and have left over 15 voicemails and we can't even get a call back and our AC has been off for two weeks with a 2 year old at home. They are very unprofessional the guy that came out didn't even introduce himself and his expert opinion was and i quote "you aint getting your ac fixed today l. I will send paperwork out later today when i can but you aint getting it today." Insurance covers the compressor and have been aware of this issue. At this rate I'm sure i will get a response to this negative review before they have the professionalism to return one of the many voicemails or calls. read more

This company was assigned to us by our home warranty company end of July due to a problem with our AC. They showed up very quickly and were able to fix our problem. My husband paid the service call fee of $ 75 in cash and added a $ 5 tip. We still got invoiced the service call fee from our home warranty company as this company claimed that we never paid them directly. read more

The AC unit this company installed 2 years ago through my home warranty company stopped working 8/29/18. Granted I wasn't sure if it was the AC unit or the electrical but I left 2 voicemails and requested a service call through the website but no return call. At 100 degrees in my home for 3 days I went with another company that called me back within 2 hours and had my AC running within 5 hours. I understand summers are busy but good customer service is to call and at least let the customer know the time frame of a service call. Angie read more

Best experience ever with an A/C company! William is the owner, and the same gentleman who came out to take care of our broken upstairs A/C unit. William was thorough, polite, and explained everything, including maintenance tips and upkeep. Great guy; great company. Highly recommend. Support our small businesses, especially the good ones! read more

We had a wonderful experience with this company. They came out to fix our air conditioning unit in the heat of summer. They diagnosed the problem and solved it in minutes. They were very affordable, professional and did an excellent job. Thank you. read more

Maybe there's hope for humanity after all ! It's one thing to get good service but it's another to go above and beyond . The service was top notch and friendly . Great service. We have 2 compressors for our AC system and one went out. They first scheduled to come after 5pm the same day, but when my husband called back to see if they could come earlier, they squeezed us in and came by. We really appreciated that and they fixed the part quickly and we were cool the same day. read more

Great service, great price. Can't say enough good things about William and AR Heating and A/C. Responsive despite being the busiest time of the year for their business. In fact, the techs showed up EARLIER than their estimated time. In 30 minutes we were back to producing cool air. Had all the necessary parts on the truck, reasonably priced. Knowledgeable and fair. Highly recommend ! read more

Based on Yelp reviews they were right, called AR just to get A/C inspected and maintained. Very nice to deal with, tech came out did a through inspection and cleaned unit and checked vents through out house. Didn't try to sell anything pleasant to deal with. We found our company from now on. With so many company's out there and we have used previously. Definitely stand out! read more

If your looking for an HONEST and highly skilled guy, call William. Long story short we were told we needed a new compressor - several thousand dollars. William diagnosed the problem and fixed it in 15 minutes. He told us he has been doing this business since the 1980's. I highly recommend him! read more

Couldn't be happier...an issue was found up on the roof that was causing wind noise inside my home as well as cold air to be coming thru the wall power switches. Thanks read more

Horrible service from the tech that came to my house....1st he came with his (neighbor), that's a no-no. Then he tells my warranty company that it was fixed when it was not, here I am still sitting in 80 degrees. Would never refer this company. Tried to speak to the owner of the company, always told the owner was not in the office and would return my call....4/5 days later I still haven't received a return phone call. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, if you want good service. read more

Absolutely horrible. First guy comes out and just flips a couple of switches, doesn't bother looking at anything, and says it's fine. AC breaks again after a few hours. Takes another week for them to come out. Second guy says the control panel is broken, and they would be sending out for it. Several days later we get the call that they are giving up. Just go out of business since you obviously should not be in this business. And keep your rude receptionist, she will definitely drive your business into bankruptcy read more

I got a Groupon for this company in June. It is currently the end of September and I have tried contacting these people this entire time to schedule just an AC tune up. I have left over 10 voicemails over that time and no one EVER has called me back. Non-existent customer service. read more

If you have an a/c unit on the roof, FORGET these guys!! They need to buy a bigger ladder...

Terrible experience with this company. First I'd like to find out who those people who get there AC fixed same day are, and how they managed that. It's been almost 3 weeks without AC in the middle of summer and yes I understand you have to abide by the home warranty company and policy but that doesn't give you an excuse to not answer your phone calls or return our calls. When the guy finally came out we told him their company sucks at returning phone calls and he's response was "oh my girl is out on vacation till after labor day weekend." Just keep calling till someone picks up. What kind of shit advice is that? Yeah I have nothing better to do than to call 30 times in hopes someone picks up once... turns out they couldn't fix it that day. After we got everything situated and fixed we called and said they would be out the next day. 3 weeks without AC, what's another day right? I think it's bull when I hear people saying o great company they came out same day two hours later! Bull shit, terrible fucking company. read more

I was relieved to find that when my AC went out last summer, they didn't try to sell me a new unit, they only replaced my broken fan motor. I now have them programmed in my phone in case my heater or air conditioner breaks again. William is great and really knows his trade. I was very happy with the service provided. read more

I highly recommend AR Heating and AC. William was the tech that visited us. I was running late in meeting him at my house. He came and left but also left a message that he will be back after completing another quick job in the area. He came back after less than an hour, which was still within the time frame that they originally quoted. He diagnosed the problem quickly and presented the repair scenario and the cost. It was acceptable and William completed the repair in less than 30 minutes. All in all, a very positive experience and I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Both him and his wife made me feel cared about - not gouged. Definitely referring them to friends.

I was really in a bind during the hottest time this year and AR Heating and AC really came through. They were fast, HONEST, and reasonable. They found the problem and had the necessary part with them to fix it. You can't ask for much more that that. Don't hesitate to call them. You won't regret it. read more
