He did a free inspection first. He didn't think my vents looked too bad but they hadn't been cleaned in a long time and so I wanted it done. I was working from home but he didn't interrupt me and didn't scare my cats - which is saying a lot. He explained that some vents suck in and some push out - which is why I had thought some were clogged (they weren't pushing warm air out, but weren't supposed to). He was totally professional and kept everything tidy. For $385 I feel like I got a great deal! Especially knowing how many dead spiders were just laying under my vent covers. EEK!

I am very disappointed with the installation and the subsequent customer service I received…read more The new faucet that was installed became extremely loose shortly after installation, began leaking, and did not function properly. I have a video documenting these issues. Since the faucet was clearly not performing as it should, I purchased a replacement faucet and contacted the company to ask whether it could be installed as a replacement. I was informed that I would be charged an additional $325 for the installation. I found this charge unreasonable, particularly because I had paid $472 for the original installation just one day earlier and the faucet installed by the company was not functioning properly. I ultimately hired another plumber, who charged $150 and completed the replacement in approximately 20 minutes. During that process, it was discovered that the original faucet had been installed with plastic disks that restricted the water flow. Additionally, in attempting to tighten the faucet to prevent it from becoming loose again, the original plumber cracked the underside of the fixture. Unfortunately, the damage resulted in the faucet being broken, and I was therefore unable to return it. Given the cost of the original installation, the problems that developed immediately afterward, the additional charge requested to correct the issue, and the damage to the fixture, I am very dissatisfied with the quality of the workmanship and the handling of the situation. I expected a significantly higher standard of service and workmanship for the amount I paid.

I called Evergreen a couple of months ago because of a corroded, leaky pipe in the basement. Peter…read morecame by, gave me an estimate that seemed reasonable, and did the work quickly and efficiently. This was no small feat given the weird crawl spaces in my basement, that he had to crawl into in order to replace some pipes. Somehow he was amazingly cheerful about this! Of course, given my 1890 house, fixing that pipe uncovered a clog further along in the pipes that was stopping up my sink. So today James and Mason came out, cleaned it all out, showed me what the pipes look like on their very cool camera device, and now everything works like a charm. I thought the prices were very reasonable, and the estimates accurately reflected the final cost. All along, everyone I dealt with was great, from Marcus on the phone setting up the appointments, to Peter/James/Mason doing the work at the house. They were friendly, professional, explained everything, left everything neat and took care of the small details, and were very nice to and amused by my dog, who was doing his best to "help" their efforts. Haha, "help." Overall, this is now my only go-to place for plumbing/drainage problems - which are likely to be a recurring thing given the age of my house. I forget which other maintenance person recommended them, but I'm glad they did. I've had leaking pipes in the past where the leak was so bad that the water had to be shut entirely off, and the companies I dealt with then could never tell me anything more than "well, we're really busy, we MIGHT be able to get out there next week" etc. It was always nerve-wracking, calling different places to see which ones could come out first. I can't imagine that being an issue with Evergreen, given how prompt they've always been.

Posting again as the 2nd review I did seems to have disappeared. I don't recommend this business…read morebecause the estimators/inspectors they have sent out have made too many mistakes. They misdiagnosed a sump pump issue (was electrical, not plumbing issue) and immediately stated I had to replace entire pump (was not the case). They provided inaccurate information about a pipe offset which did not need to be fixed and put together a job for rain drains that would never work due to slope. All in all, I feel this company is rather predatory and high priced as well, and now do not trust them.

We called at 8am and they said they'd try to get out same day, but could definitely come the next day. Luckily for us, Doc from Judsons made it out that same afternoon. Turns out that Doc was the best plumber we could ever hope for. He was prompt and courteous and got right to work, diagnosing the issue and proposing a solution. He didn't waste a second while he was here and also patiently explained the details of the problem so we could make an educated decision. We had a leak in the kitchen sink drain pipe on a horizontal section of piping in the ceiling below. All the work from beginning to end took less than three hours, which is no small feat considering he had to locate the pipe int he closed-off ceiling, which relied entirely on educated guesses. He also asked if we had any other things we wanted him to look at while he was there and he fixed two minor things in 5 minutes, which was invaluable.
