I had a disappointing experience with customer service at this nail shop. When I arrived the lady at the desk was VERY rude and had a Disgusting attitude towards me. I needed four nails repaired, and the staff quoted me $30 for the repairs alone. My nails are medium-length. Considering that a fill typically costs around $45, I was surprised to hear that they would charge me for BOTH the fill and the $30 for the repairs which would come out to around $70-$80. She didn't want to do my nails. The word around town is that their nail shop DOES NOT like black people! Additionally, the shop is OLD and outdated, and there was an unpleasant odor. I recommend looking for a cleaner nail salon that offers better customer service. I WILL TELL ALL MY FRIEND NOT TO GO TO THIS disgusting nail shop. read more

Nikki does beautiful nails but if you want eyebrows, ask for Rose. Harley took off too much on the top of one brow and it looked patchy so I had to color in the spots with a pencil until my brow grew in again. If I could give negative stars I would. I specifically asked for a BASIC pedicure. Even after the nail tech handed me the laminated menu of services, I pointed to the BASIC pedicure option and repeated to her that I want the $35 pedicure with regular polish...not gel. She said "ok", then she got up and went to get (what I thought was) regular polish samples. I picked out the color I wanted and she proceeded with the pedicure. Now, I don't know if she was new or what but she didn't seem to know what she was doing. She cut my big toe cuticle and then put lotion on my legs and washed it off. Then she put alcohol in the cut!! Oh the pain!!! Anyway...when it was time to pay, she told me my total was $55. I said, "I thought it was $35?" She then said "you got gel." I reminded her that I specifically asked for the BASIC pedicure with regular polish. She went and got someone else and said something to her in a different language. The other lady looked at me and said "she said you asked for gel." After I explained to her what really happened, she had the nerve to tell me I could get back in the chair and have her do it over! SMH!!! I told her I didn't have time for that and that I wasn't paying for her mistake. She then charged me $40 because I didn't want to get it redone. Needless to say, the $5 tip I had planned to give her went towards the $40 charge and I will NEVER, EVER go back in there again!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place! The positive: they're very clean and have lots of colors available. Sadly finding a clean place is hard, but the cons will stop me from returning. The cons: on my first pedi appointment they burned me with the parafin even though I complained when he started on the first foot, and he was very rough in general. But since it's hard to find a clean place I decided to give them another chance. I called and asked for a regular pedicure to avoid the parafin, and instead they decided to book me for the same expensive one I got the first time, so I had to explicitly tell the guy to keep the parafin away when he was coming with it. They still charged me for it, even though it's $10 extra for a service I definitely didn't want. Ok whatever, miscommunication, I paid and tipped and told them I didn't want that and won't return. I wouldn't be posting all this if they didn't try to argue after that and then start harassing me over text after I left. I told them I wasn't returning but never yelled or made a scene, I did not deserve that harassment. Would not recommend. read more

Very disappointed. This is not my normal nail salon but I couldn't get in today and needed a pedicure w/ my daughter. I made two appts for 5:00. We went in they sat us down (right next to each other) & started hers....while I sat there w/ an empty foot tub w/ a liner...I literally had to ask them to put water in it....? I should've just gotten up at that point and left but I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt...my mistake. Since the new owner took over I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at this salon. Everyone is very determined to make sure you're comfortable and relaxed during your appt and happy with your nails when you leave. Also, they have wine so that's always a plus! Service is currently appt only, masks are required, temperate is taken at the door and you must wash your hands before you sit down. Since they reopened after the shut down I haven't seen more than 2 other customers in the salon at the same time as me. Great job protecting clients and staff! read more

This place is nice and clean and they provide good service in terms of confirming appointments and texting you to let you know that they're ready for you or to make an appointment through text message but my most recent experience I felt very rushed, I sat down to do my pedicure and then I also wanted to do a dip powder manicure, this was done at the same time as my pedicure and I was very uncomfortable because the girl was sitting on one side of me so then to do my other hand I had to reach over and my arm was very uncomfortable and I felt it was very rushed and was very quick and already I have a broken nail and the color just feels grainy and it's not it's not worth $100 that I paid. I went in for a girls day today and got a refill for myself and then shellac paint for my daughter (7 years old) for her nails and toes. I told them just paint no mani/pedi. You are grateful for the masks required to be in the premises and the staff are diligent in ensuring cleanliness throughout the entire visit without compromising hospitality. They still offer hydration and don't pass you around to another worker in mid process. Ryan (Vu) was my nail tech and he was fabulous!! I had a pedicure and one of the powder dips done, Vu shaped and filed my nails exactly the way I wanted them. The salon is clean and comfortable and the customer service is top notch. I was visiting from Texas and needed my nails and toes done, I'm so glad I accidently found these guys. Everything I make an appointment weeks out and sit for 30 minutes or more in the middle of a service because they overbook. Today was the last straw. It was the second time I chose a color from the one selection they gave me. Did my dip manicure and I noticed the color looked "off" when I asked to see the book to see the color I selected vs. what was painted on my nail I was assured it was right. When I asked again to see the book I showed her that wasn't the right color. The jars were missing labeled and she gave me a red ring finger accent nail instead of a pink nail. This was actually the second time it's happend here. I completely understand a mishap or accident. Im reasonable and don't like confrontation. However the part that upset me was the owner who was doing my nails was pushing me to let it go. Like..."oh well,...will you be paying with cash or card. I was so put off that I asked for a service and selected a color from your offerings and you messed it up and wanted to get me out the door to move on to the next client. I have been going here for 2 years and sucking up mishaps and accidents and sitting in chairs unattended every time I go. I was not going to leave without asking for her to fix it to a color I originally asked for. I could tell she was irritated and didn't want to fix it and take the time to soak it off. So she filed the nail dip down a layer. You could still see red all over my nail...and covered it with gel pink sparkle. Now I have a red nail with sparkles on it. Uuuummm not what I was looking for for $75!!! I was so disappointed that she literally didn't care what kind of service she gave me. I will never go back. Terrible customer service. This was my first time using this nail salon, there are plenty around Madison to try. The location is awkward, if you are coming from 565, but not too bad. The building is brand new, so you can expect brand new lush tables, chairs and pedicure chairs. I was very surprised at my visit, I went in for a pedicure and was able to get in immediately on a Saturday afternoon. They have a really nice selection of polish, more than the average salon. My tech was Andy and he was delightful. Made conversation as i scrolled through my phone. Was gentle with my feet. My massage was amazing, as I opted for the Signature pedicure. Overall, great experience. Would recommend. I know there are so many salons around here to choose from, the slightest inconvenience would lead you to go elsewhere. read more

First, I will start with the positive. The people there were nice, which is the reason I gave them two stars. However, I will not be returning to this nail shop. I arrived at 5:30 and felt like that was ample time for them to do an excellent job on my nails. I guess the lady that did my toes was new which is ok but if you are new management should sit with you to make sure you are doing a good job. She did good on the scrubbing, but everything else was a mess. My toenails don't look professional at all. I probably could've done a better job. Also, it took her forever. Typically my pedicures only take 30-45 minutes. It took her 1.5 hours, and my toes still look horrible. And not to mention she kept cutting my actual skin. It is still hurting this morning. I also did the dip polish for my nails. The girl that did my nails was friendly, but she did a poor job on my hands too. She didn't do anything to my cuticles, and the dip doesn't look even. This was a lesson learned. I went here because it was a lot closer to my house, but I will continue to drive to the shop I know that does a good job. read more
