So here…read morewe go again, they came out built a patio, a few months later it starts sinking, i spend 2 months trying to get it fixed, the crew comes out says it wasnt built right the first time, less than a year later it sinks again, i spend a few weeks trying to get ahold of someone. finally a guy named jessie comes out, says dont worry we will fix evertything, 4 weeks and crickets, spend a few weeks getting ahold of them again to find out jessie got fired now i am dealing with some luke guy. a few weeks later he finally comes out and looks says we need to fix it, brick are falling off the edge and there are vary obvious low spots and sinking. the next day, today, a guy shows up with a hammer and a bucket of sand because he was told to fix one little spot. I explain everything to him he says yea it is bad, actually while he is here he puts his hand on the edge of the patio and two more bricks FALL OFF. I try to get ahold of luke via text and phone. When he calls me back the guy that came out left and luke is vary dismissive, were gonig to fix it dont worry. Then he calls me back 20 mins later and starts to LECTURE me about not telling his crew what needs to be done he tells them, the spots he saw werent bad and they are going to do it but only contact him never talk to his crew, i explained i tried getting ahold of him while the guy was here but couldnt. Everyone on the phone keeps telling me dont worry weve been in business for forever, were not going anywhere, we have a 25 year warranty. Well build it right the first time, if you need to fix it dont make customers chase you down and fix it right the first time! there should never be a second time for trying to get this done. We are really regretting hiring them so far and would never recommend them. I hope to the gods they get it fixed right this time because I dont ever ever want to hear from or see a systempavers person again, but im not counting on it

After walking around the yard to look over the project and later, sending my drawing of what I was looking for in greater detail he came back with an estimate. Glad to say I was sitting down when I saw it. After talking with the wife we decided to scale back the project to just the patio, but have I.L.D. supply us with enough Flagstone for us to do the pathways on our own as time and energy permit. We did custom remodeling work for 14 years since my forced retirement in 2003, but decided to completely retire in 2018, so the budget was a major concern. David's revised estimate was still more than we expected, but knowing the amount of labor involved, we agreed on the price. David's crew was able to start on our place the following Tuesday and completed the job by the next Monday after that. I was happy with the professionalism his crew displayed and the attention to details that made a difference in the end product. I was impressed with the stone-work, and the respect shown to our property by all the workers. The crew supervisor did suggest a change to the job after digging out for the stonework, that increased the total area. It made a lot of sense so David and I quickly came to an agreement on the adjustment that was reasonable. I highly recommend David and I.L.D. for this kind of work.

In the end, we went with another company that could do the landscaping and the in-ground sprinklers together in the same project. If it was landscaping only, I would have been happy to try them. Kellye came out to our house even though it's an hour from where she is as soon as she could, took measurements and answered all the questions that we had at the time and listened carefully to what we wanted. I would certainly recommend considering them when you want to get bids on a landscape job.

He is gifted at managing the project to meet the final vision and being receptive to any questions or concerns. We received daily communication to understand what was completed that day and what was next. Our yard was sloped and lumpy, and quite depressing. We really wanted some privacy and to level the yard for playing. All while managing any drainage issues that could arise. Jerry drew up a full master design, and we were blown away with the creativity and consideration he obviously put into it. From there, we started narrowing the project to fit into our budget. The scope of work included a full front and back yard renovation including new sod, a patio addition, pergola, lighting, irrigation and drainage, outdoor kitchen, and all new plants/stone borders. Our yard is now our favorite place and we have received a ton of compliments from neighbors. Reached out to a few companies and Al's quote turned out to be the lowest of the three I received. He was very thorough in detailing his suggestions for us and we eventually decided to zero-scape the front lawn. He gave us options to choose from, explained what has worked best for him in the past. He took out our existing bushes by our front windows, ensuring he got most, if not all of the roots so they wouldn't be an issue moving forward, planted 4-5 yucca plants, put granite rock down to cover the yard and our curb with a barrier around the whole area. We also went with a two-foot-wide extension from the side of our driveway that has 2" pavers and crushed granite so I could better get out of my vehicle since I have mobility issues. We also had him trim our huge Ash tree in the front since it needed it badly. Al was very professional, kept us in the loop on all decisions and got the job done quickly.
