He…read morehelped me bring to life an idea I'd had, of creating a literal way for water to flow from my roof without creating erosion and puddles in my backyard, by building a dry creek near my gutter downspout. He used his xeriscaping expertise to put in plants that will thrive in my yard with minimal extra care. The final product is a cohesive, charming, self-sustaining work of art. Marty and his team are very reasonable to work with- they were respectful throughout, of my time, property, and stated budget. At one point, the Rhinamic crew were in my yard at the same time as my builder's crew that was making separate fixes in the same small space and they worked together to get my landscaping done efficiently, which was more than I could have asked for. I wish I had gone with Marty earlier- he's the complete package.

About 4 months ago things started to change. He was no longer reliable, truthful, or dependable. I discovered that he was lying about cutting different properties and was always filled with hundreds of excuses. Meanwhile, he then tells me he got a big mowing job at the VA. Well, I am happy for him, but you don't just kick your good customers that pay within an hour of the property being completed to the curb. His communication skills are totally absent, and you constantly have to run after him. When he starts making excuses, you need to cut him loose. There are many lawn care people out there that are dying for the jobs and the work. Find one of them and give them your business. Dwayne doesn't care. This is a photo of yesterday 6/18/26 in Monticello, a historical district in San Antonio. This is the current condition of how he has just walked away with no communication and the condition he has left my property in. The backyard looks the same. If you hire him just be prepared for more of this same kind of treatment. He should be ashamed of himself as a Marine Vet, he knows better. -Sondra G.

I explain everything to him he says yea it is bad, actually while he is here he puts his hand on the edge of the patio and two more bricks FALL OFF. I try to get ahold of luke via text and phone. When he calls me back the guy that came out left and luke is vary dismissive, were gonig to fix it dont worry. Then he calls me back 20 mins later and starts to LECTURE me about not telling his crew what needs to be done he tells them, the spots he saw werent bad and they are going to do it but only contact him never talk to his crew, i explained i tried getting ahold of him while the guy was here but couldnt. Everyone on the phone keeps telling me dont worry weve been in business for forever, were not going anywhere, we have a 25 year warranty. Well build it right the first time, if you need to fix it dont make customers chase you down and fix it right the first time! there should never be a second time for trying to get this done. We are really regretting hiring them so far and would never recommend them. I hope to the gods they get it fixed right this time because I dont ever ever want to hear from or see a systempavers person again, but im not counting on it

Unfortunately, they only do the landscape portion, so we hired another company for the deck. They don't do sprinkler systems, either. In the end, we went with another company that could do the landscaping and the in-ground sprinklers together in the same project. If it was landscaping only, I would have been happy to try them. Kellye came out to our house even though it's an hour from where she is as soon as she could, took measurements and answered all the questions that we had at the time and listened carefully to what we wanted. I would certainly recommend considering them when you want to get bids on a landscape job.

Reached out to a few companies and Al's quote turned out to be the lowest of the three I received. He was very thorough in detailing his suggestions for us and we eventually decided to zero-scape the front lawn. He gave us options to choose from, explained what has worked best for him in the past. He took out our existing bushes by our front windows, ensuring he got most, if not all of the roots so they wouldn't be an issue moving forward, planted 4-5 yucca plants, put granite rock down to cover the yard and our curb with a barrier around the whole area. We also went with a two-foot-wide extension from the side of our driveway that has 2" pavers and crushed granite so I could better get out of my vehicle since I have mobility issues. We also had him trim our huge Ash tree in the front since it needed it badly. Al was very professional, kept us in the loop on all decisions and got the job done quickly. His attention detail is OUTSTANDING! I would 100% recommend him for any of your landscaping projects, big or small. Our front yard looks great and now we don't have to mow it ever again!! :-)

After walking around the yard to look over the project and later, sending my drawing of what I was looking for in greater detail he came back with an estimate. Glad to say I was sitting down when I saw it. After talking with the wife we decided to scale back the project to just the patio, but have I.L.D. supply us with enough Flagstone for us to do the pathways on our own as time and energy permit. We did custom remodeling work for 14 years since my forced retirement in 2003, but decided to completely retire in 2018, so the budget was a major concern. David's revised estimate was still more than we expected, but knowing the amount of labor involved, we agreed on the price. David's crew was able to start on our place the following Tuesday and completed the job by the next Monday after that. I was happy with the professionalism his crew displayed and the attention to details that made a difference in the end product. I was impressed with the stone-work, and the respect shown to our property by all the workers. The crew supervisor did suggest a change to the job after digging out for the stonework, that increased the total area. It made a lot of sense so David and I quickly came to an agreement on the adjustment that was reasonable. I highly recommend David and I.L.D. for this kind of work.
