I called on Monday to confirm we were still good for the afternoon slot but he said they were running late and asked to reschedule to the next day. Next day he texted me about an hour earlier than anticipated to say they were headed over; not a big deal as we were available. He and his crew were professional, quick, listened to concerns and finished the job, cleaning up the area to spotless condition. They did exactly what needed doing and did it well. The top part has rings inside and they crack or warp. Last year the entire pipe cracked. What a pain. So this year was no different- and then to top it off, my front yard faucet AND the back one too were leaking! This year I called Union Plumbing. What I love about them right off the bat, is that a nice lady (yes a live person) answered my call instead of an answering machine- and it was the weekend. She told me the earliest they could get someone out was today but the would squeeze me in if there was a cancellation. They had a time window of when they were expecting arrive and I got a text message the night before as a reminder and another one this morning when they were on their way. Two really nice guys showed up and the showed me everything and explained everything. They had a tool that can sense water/ a leak inside the wall and that was a blessing- although Luciano would have loved it if these guys started cutting a hole in the side wall so he could have a doggie door! So they replaced the part, had me run the sprinkler for two minutes and rechecked for any leaks- it is nice and dry. Then they went o to work on the faucets, front and back, and replaced parts there also. Everything is nice and snug now! Best part is that when I went to check in on Yelp, they had a 5% discount coupon for the labor costs!!!! This came in handy today for sure. All in all, I am thankful they were able to see what they needed without tearing holes in the wall. They were on time and the service from the phone call I placed to them taking care of my property (rolling up the hoses) was A+++.

Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. * They were two days late for their original appointment. * When they finally came, they walked me through the repair, charged me an exorbitant amount of money, and claimed the leak was fixed. It wasn't. * When I called them back, they said another repair was needed--at the same high cost. At no point during the first visit did they mention the second pipe, even though I authorized the expensive repair in full. Had I known, I would have approved everything up front to stop the leaking and damage. * The ceiling cut they made looked unprofessional--jagged, oversized, and not squared, like it was done without proper tools. * When I spoke to the owner about being double charged for incomplete work, his response was, "Yeah, sometimes my guys don't communicate." As if, oh well, that's how it is. I run a business myself and I would never let that be the reason for shoddy work; or any reason as I stand behind my results.
