Weathered steel is manufactured in most common forms: sheet, bar, square and round tubing, etc. whether El Paso Metals and Steel has it or not. The El Paso Metals and Steel sales rep. had ZERO interest in finding out if they could obtain any other forms and was annoyed I made an inquiry about something they had not sold previously. This is ironic since their website says: "Get the right materials for your business or project, whether you're need standard supplies and parts or a custom made piece." "Contact us today for information regarding metal, custom castings and products, or cleaning services. We'll get you what you need." It does not bother me they were not able to supply the materials I was seeking - that can happen. I was a potential new customer for them, but because of their poor customer service on a simple, initial inquiry, I will not be doing any business with El Paso Metals and Supply.

I picked up my poles, paid and brought them home. While unloading them, I realized they were not going to work because they were to lightweight. The next workday was Monday, so I drove to Canutillo to buy thicker gauge poles. On Friday I was quoted $22 per pole for the thicker poles. When I paid the difference she charged me $24 per pole. I told her I was quoted $22. She said over the weekend they raised the prices. What a ripoff! I'm finished dealing with Valley Fence Company!

I mean, okay, but if you're in the fencing business and you specifically put yourself out there as a company that serves southern New Mexico, then you should at least be willing to talk about a $10k job.

I asked 2 different professionals to see if the job was done correctly and I was told that the flooring was not done correctly at all and recommended I request a refund. I contacted the company that same night. I finally got a response 13 days later on 9/22/26--by that time I had fixed the leak myself. The damage was to the weather sealant between the siding and the brick wall right where the windows were installed. During installation, they understandably had to hamnmer around that whole area to adjust and fit the new windows which in turn loosened the weather sealant. Before their install service I had never had water leaks. I was not pleased with their lack of response to the issue.
