Purewater was going to come out and do a service, but now an authorized Hague dealer is coming out, although all the way from Elk Grove. I do think the service call pricing shoul dbe better explained when making an appointment. It appears a service call fee is just to come out, and associated parts and an houlry rate seem to be extras? The hague dealer is $150 for the serevice call plus an hourly rate, plus parts.

Their prices are a joke. Their website lists $10 for a 5-gallon water bottle. Speaking of water stores, they also don't even have/supply their own water. I've seen them on multiple mornings at the Water Warehouse in Elk Grove filling up hundreds of bottles, taking up space and time from other customers who just wanted to fill up a quick bottle or two. So they fill their water bottles up there then charge a huge premium to other customers. I guess that's how them and certain other businesses make their money in this capitalistic economy. I wouldn't advise buying from them unless they're your only option. Just fill up your own water or go through Costco if you need it delivered. These guys are something else.

It was the equivalent of a small vial pool chemical test. Which is fine. But it's a drop of this. A drop of that. It did not seem like the most scientific water evaluation. All that said, Steve was friendly, seemed honest enough and his pricing was moderately more competitive. We were not interested in a system that requires salt. This company provides a solution that's straight forward, low / no maintenance (it flushes itself) and will last a good amount of time hopefully. We moved forward with Steve. His son Dalton did the installation a week later. All went well with the installation. So far we have not used the system a great deal but we are encouraged by what we have noticed so far. NO complaints but I am seriously thinking of investing in a 500 dollars gas water pump to suck out the bottom 1/3 of the tank periodically.
