Just to get a fee dollars back, vs paying for it all to be taken away by the city each week. Wasn't sure what to expect, but saw a number of other people dropping out their slown stuff as well. I have been here before and I knew that you need to bring your own shovel, so I was prepared. I think last time I didn't think about it and I had to use my hands. Yuck. It is kind of in the ghetto so come during the day. I had a crazy lady yelling at the top of her lungs near the place. Down the street a bit was a homeless guy with a fire in the street cooking on a regular pan. Crazy sights . Back to the sandbags. I love how you are able to get free sandbags for flooding and other things. They have plenty of bags and sand so if you need some just head out there.
