Then I asked how much I owed. I should have asked this first. They charged me $100. I understand that I am paying for their ability to get my furniture upstairs unharmed, equipment, their expertise, their insurance, and all the things that go into being a professional company, but at $100 for 5 minutes, they are making $1200 an hour. The power button worked, the battery was normal, and nothing was wrong with it except the screen. After they took it to the back, suddenly I was told my power button was broken and my battery was swollen. That is not the condition I walked in with. These problems appeared only after they handled my phone. They also gave me my cracked screen back in worse shape and did NOT return the tools or the new screen packaging that I brought in. That's shady and unprofessional. It makes it look like something went wrong while they were working on it and they didn't want to admit it. Instead of taking responsibility, they tried to act like the damage was already there. It wasn't. I know my own device, and I know exactly how it was working before I handed it over. I've already filed a BBB complaint because the way I was treated at this location was unfair, dismissive, and completely unacceptable. Management needs to step up and address this situation.
