I found a pair of therm-ic heated ski socks battery size 700 on this website "park2peak" when…read moregoogle searching. The price was discounted vs other major websites so I went ahead and checked their return policy just incase anything went wrong or price was too good to be true. Upon the item being received I noticed the manufacturer box was torn at the top and didn't have a seal, so I immediately assumed this was an opened item and knew I would need to test them prior to just taking on my ski trip. I fully charged the battery, put on in home and waited for any noticeable heating. This was my first time trying the socks route as I typically install heated insoles in my ski boots. This was a new ski boot for me and the socks were cheaper at $215. No noticeable heating at all, batteries died at 4hrs vs 7. I didn't take them on the trip obviously. When I got back, I figured maybe I did something wrong and fully charged again...same experience. I emailed customer service and my response from "Jay" was a very excited yet not apologetic reply to use the manufacturer warranty route. A warranty is helpful after you have used things and its then faulty, its not helpful as a solution to purchasing something expected to be brand new and expensive for an immediate ski season. Jays reply had also been quick to say "we dont accept used returns". I then emailed to confirm I was not sold an open box used item that was discounted due to this aspect and was not returnable, incase I had missed this. The same Jay replied that they only sold new items. So I chose to return my "new" socks that were faulty. I shipped back at my own $28 expense, and sent customer service the tracking. I then noticed I was receiving no replies to my emails which was odd customer service. I planned to re-order heated insoles from them vs trying socks again. I then checked their website and noticed no other socks or any insoles at all, they seem to only list one item of things they had. I then found reviews on yelp and realized this isnt actually a gear company it is a small town ski shop listing close out one off items. I then emailed that I would do a chargeback if I had no response to my return, and received a shocking reply that they were a small ski shop, this was the child of the parents who own the ski shop and that my return of ski socks would be a large financial hit to them and would have to throw them out, but would refund me. So safe to say I was attempted to be scammed by buying a pre-used and returned set of faulty heated socks, and they expected I would just hash it out with trying to get a replacement from the manufacturer. Ski shops are typically run by honest sport loving community so its very sad to see theres dishonest operators out there. Two stars instead of one because they did refund my money. But I would avoid buying here and expecting customer service to be helpful for any other purchase or expect quality gear. If you google search reviews you will see other issues...

My wife bought a paddle board from them a few years ago, and the service was phenomenal. They helped her load it onto the car (seeing as she is 5'2 and drives an SUV, this was helpful!), and even threw in some rack covers to protect the board and car alike. Sure it is free advertising for them as they say their name, but why not? The most recent experiences we have had with the fine folks at Arlberg has been to take advantage of their youth ski program. They sell decent used ski equipment at great cost, and even allow for resale of goods back to help with the cost of moving up in sizes! As a parent of seven children this helps out immensely! The kids love hitting the slopes, and as any skier know, waiting in those rental lines on mountain sucks! This has enabled us to keep them geared in great equipment, and allows them to get an extra few runs in before anyone else even hits the lift. I love these guys, they are always so excited and so helpful. Look for Matt when you go, I have heard from multiple people that I work with that he is top of the bunch! I am in the market for skis now myself, and I will be stopping here first. Tomorrow to be exact! Come on down and see for yourself just what I mean, and let the help wow you!

Sasha helped me and she was great, making sure everything worked for my body and my needs. I also brought in my daughter's stuff because we had problems with the boots and bindings (marketplace purchase because we weren't sure she'd stick with it). I expected to have to buy new bindings. They didn't sell me anything that I didn't need and they shared all of their experience to help us solve the problem. I am SO thankful for everything they shared, there is no way we'd have reached that point on our own. We worked with Travis and Matt who were really awesome. I definitely recommend coming here if you have any issues or unique needs, or if you need a new setup or are a beginner. Also, stop in just for your regular stuff! They have a huge selection of all of the layers and accessories. Obviously there are expensive things, but it isn't an uncomfortable sales environment at all.

The cost was super inexpensive, and Joey my instructor was very informative. He wen't over pure basics to advanced knowledge of surfing technique. I also bought some schwag from the shop, and the prices are very reasonable. Typical surf shops you pay a premium for brand-name gear, but they offer great sales. By the end of my lesson and day I was up on the board, and there is no better feeling. I went in the morning to buy wax and the guy and girl working there helped me out right away- Then I went back after my beach session the same day and they immediately recognized me with friendly faces, which made me feel less embarrassed about going in the store for the second time. I went in because I hated my cheap wooden skimboard that I got somewhere else and asked for their recommendations for a better one. I couldn't have been any happier because both were extremely helpful and informative. I'm a beginner and the guy especially took his time to explain the differences between boards, which ones were best, tips on skim boarding in general, etc. I really appreciate that kind of chill and nice vibe because most people just try to sell to newbies rather than engage in conversation about a common interest! He ended up going in the back to get me a really nice fiber glass one that he actually was going buy for himself, but let me have it. Thanks!!! Both workers have been skim boarding for a long time and they know what they're talking about!
