Went in to enquire about having them work on my Nissan 40hp and spoke to a ginger guy with an attitude. he acted as if they were the only game in town with a little smirk on his face. Based off of the information I gave him he said the motor was garbage and he really didn't have time to work on it anyways. I called him on his unprofessionalism and told him I'd be leaving a review on Yelp. Here's the strange part. He walked out behind me and followed me all the way to my truck and literally stood next to me while I unlocked my door and got in, kinda psycholo! Oh, I rebuilt the entire motor and lower unit myself and it runs great. I also bought a 15hp motor that I would've bought there if it wasn't for that smarmy Jack ass! Update: Well, Troy H left me a pretty slanderous response and utterly untrue. What troy didn't realize is that I was wearing a body camera and was recording the whole Incident. I've also screenshot his response and showed it to my attorney and showed him the body camera footage as well. I personally think aqua tech should fire troy for making them look bad, or maybe I will contact aqua tech corporate office and show them what I have. Think twice before using Aqua Tech. They diagnosed a problem with my boat. Upon inspection it is clearly obvious that the work I paid for was not done. This is easily confirmed by the fact that the fully corroded and totally rusted nuts and bolts holding the original parts in place had never been removed by this business. There are not even any marks on these nuts and bolts indicating any attempt to take the parts off had been done. In addition, the claimed new gaskets installed are leaking a rusty fluid. Bringing this to the owners attention resulted in a flat denial - without even looking at the work. He actually blamed me for the problem due to my health. Who would ever say that to a clinet of 3 plus years that has spent over $28,000 at Aqua Tech? There are many other certified boat repair shops...try another and get the work you paid good money for! read more

Aqua Tech is such a great place to do business! I have been dealing with this company for almost 2 decades. I keep going back because of the excellent quality of service, competitive prices, their honesty and integrity. I have had 2 different boats serviced by them. I also bought a 115hp Mercury engine there. They were with me thru the entire process, from sales to installation, on water testing and follow-up making sure I broke the engine in correctly and that I was pleased and happy with my purchase. They were patent, kind, courteous and professional. They can always get the parts I need (usually the next day) to keep my fishing platform catching fish! I have never left their building without having all my questions answered. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants quality craftsmanship at a fair price. read more

This place has gone down hill! used them 6 or so years ago when they first opened and the place seemed better, now they are just trying to take your money. My two recent exeriences with them: 1.) brought in an old motor that ran but was slipping out of gear (wound up being worn prop rubber). before the motor left them- around a thousand dollars later! they had shot a spark plug out of the motor and somehow got the piston to come free in the cylinder. that's about the time that I stopped just throwing money at them to F@#$ up my engine. 2.) bought new motor and foolishly brought it to them to inspect- 150 dollars simply to inspect the motor. this after they had already bilked me of a thousand dollars! discussion with the owner didn't help, firstly because he was on vacation (probably with the cash that he duped me out of), and a week later because he simply didn't care. read more

If you're looking for honesty and integrity in a business for your outboard motor repair this is the place. It was a Saturday morning when I took my father-in-law's 25 year plus Johnson 15 hp kicker to be looked at because the pull start was not operating. The tech behind the counter was kind enough to come out and look at the motor and indicated they don't service units over 25 years old but they do carry new ones. Side note: They carry a line of excellent Mercury motors that were reasonably priced and we went into this repair thinking that this old unit needed replaced. The tech was kind enough to indicate that if the unit was in gear for the throttle was engage the pull start on that particular model would be in operable. With a few adjustments the motor was back up and running and cost us zero dollars. read more

I've used A few different marine Mechanich's in the past, for both service, and parts.. yet I've discovered that these guy's are more in tune than the rest in my area. Troy has been more than knowledgeable everytime I walk into the store. I've bought quite a few parts for my boat(s) and the prices have often been better than their competitors. Their rates are competitive, yet fair. Often times mechanics will charge you for a 3 hr job, when in fact they have 45 minutes into the job, not at Aquatech! I would highly recommend using Aquatech Marine over any big box stores, as it is a much more personal experience. Thanks for always being on-time, and for the constant knowledgeable recommendations! They did a good job repairing the Mercruiser engine on my boat. They delivered it back three days earlier than their estimate. They communicated the diagnosis and repair status promptly via phone. It's hard to find Marine mechanics who don't seem kind of sketchy; this place is very professional. Shop rate is $100 per hour which is not fun to pay, but also within the range of what is common. read more
