I came here for a quick take out option and ordered the eggplant Parmesan. It was very good and the eggplant was super crispy which was nice. There are a few vegetarian options so I would come back here again. The pricing for lunch is also not bad. Overall I would say this place is worth checking out for a decent local Italian option.

What a cute date night spot. I love it. It's quaint, the service is quick and polite along with tasty food. I live extremely close and they have daily specials so I will be back. I was so excited to eat I forgot to take a picture. That's how you know a place is doing a good job.

We've been coming here for years and never disappoints, you get the bank for your buck. Food is really good and affordable, they have brunch but we ended up coming for dinner with plenty options to choose from. The service is amazing, kudos to Flaka and Carlos. The ambiance is intimate, friendly, comfortable, good vibes. Definitely a hidden gem in Washington Heights, this is a spot to come back and become a regular, a spot to recommend. RIP Katie.

I think this place is far from being an "Italian restaurant " a few months before this I had their prosciutto fresh mozzarella sandwich and it was so bare that you tasted the bread more as they had one long thin slice of prosciutto. I ordered their lunch chicken parmigiana Hero and it looked like something an 11yr old made in a toaster oven. One thin piece of chicken that didn't even reach the end of the sandwich and the sauce literally tasted like Ragú sauce that wasn't worth the $9.50. Restaurants cut corners but calling a sandwich a "Hero" when it's barely 4 fingers in length is sad. The bartender/server was amazing...

The food here is okay. We ordered calamari and fried ravioli. The calamari was really good but the fried ravioli was ehhhh. I also had spinach penne w/ chicken. The chicken was good but the pasta was really bland.

Aqua Marina deserves more stars. Food is reasonably priced and portions are ample. I love the service here as well. You will not be disappointed and you will feel like family here. I highly recommend.

Came here for dinner with my family and the service was great. It was my little sister's birthday and when it was time for dessert, they lit a candle and sang happy birthday. The pasta was also delicious. The only item we weren't so crazy about was the calamari (not shown).

Burnt chicken Parmesan's overcooked like a Frozen Dinner

DISAPPOINTMENT DISH: Todays dinning experience was like day & night as they served the Lunch Special as in the past orders which was not even a mediocre but instead indigestible quality. Let''s begin with the quality assurance of the meal that was so unappealing due to various reasons. One the meal came back with wrong HARD noodles spaghetti instead of linguini followed by an overcook charred on the cheese somewhat blacked by the oven heat. Then while eating this chicken Parmesan with lackluster marinara sauce didn't feel authentic as if this cardboard over toasted breading tasted like literally cardboard as found in those cheap supermarket FROZEN DINNER! Normally I would finish my meal if at least adequately edible yet the quality was horribly indigestible with unpleasant & unsatisfactory to further savour? Surely, this will be my last visit to this once tasteful genuine Italian food plates. The freshness of the chicken Parmesan isn't made from SCRATCH at all that's probably some BOXED prepackaged refrigerated quick microwave fake gourmet and stale chicken cutlet which I couldn't swallow & stomach anymore!!

Heard of this place and was Just walking by in the neighborhood after a meeting and I'm so glad I walked into this place. The staff is all smiles and friendly - especially my bartender Katie. She was attentive and made a mean margarita! They have a few lunch specials, including but not limited to margaritas in which I've ordered. Nicely balanced and has a great kick - my day has been set! Great food and great service. What a match and I'm forever grateful. Thank you!

I had an issue with AquaMarina once, as the person on the phone was making up his own prices and trying to charge me an arm an a leg for everything I was ordering... when I was looking at the prices online. However, I have ordered food from here several times after this, and it has been nothing less than amazing!!!

Popped in during late lunch hour for a bite after walking by hundreds of times and saying "we should check them out some time". Wow I wish we had stopped in so much sooner!!! Incredible food and drinks at VERY reasonable prices. Excellent staff. Minestrone soup is the bomb! Chicken park was perfect and my partner said his shrimp fettuccine Alfredo was "phenomenal". Only thing I could suggest is playing Italian music, whether it's modern top 40 or classic, for a more authentic experience, rather than the Latin playlist. Will absolutely be back!

We inital went for dinner and drinks, but stayed when this wonderful artist and guitar player started to do their thing. Johnny Bliss sang & transported patrons to another place along with his talented string partner, Fabio. The singers voice is unbelievably beautiful. A true gift to the ears. He arrived around 8PM, and did a few sets until approx. 11pm. Apparently, these two artists are playing at NAPA on Fridays nights (not sure for how long). We had the meatballs, crabcake, and pork chop dinner (all yum). We had a few custom and signature drinks. Happy hour available until 7pm. Street parking out side. Conveniently located by MTA bus/trains. Totally recommend, will go again .

The inside was a tad dark, and the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, which was to be expected given our large group size and the various other tables they had to attend to. The food, overall, was excellent, with this being the first Spain-ish (last time I'll use this bad joke) spot that reminded me of the Ironbound in Newark. In terms of drinks, they have the usual sangria, wines, sherry, and some standard cocktails, but I went with something that's not commonly found in the city. That was the Tinto de Verano, a refreshing mix of red wine and lemon soda, which I believe was around $12. This is a more local drink from Spain, and I was happy to see it here. They also have the Basque drink Kalimotxo, a mix of red wine and Coca-Cola, for $9. They gave us some bread to begin with, which was munched on and soon used with their delicious sauces. As for the rest of the food, we stuck primarily to tapas, aside from a paella. The first thing that arrived was unfortunately something that I couldn't eat, as I have a cephalopod allergy. This was the delicious-smelling Pulpo a la Gallega for $22, consisting of sliced boiled octopus with paprika, salt, and olive oil. The rest of the people loved it, and from serving it to some people, I could tell it was fork-tender. Outside of the pulpo, we got two other seafood tapas. The $16 Vieras a la Casuela, or scallop casserole with red & green peppers, paprika, and olive oil, was delicious. There were plenty of plump scallops with a mild sweetness accentuated by the olive oil and paprika. The $14 Gambas al Ajillo, or prawns in garlic & white wine, was also excellent. The shrimp were cooked very nicely, and the garlic flavor was as strong as it should be. One of the earlier things to arrive was, ironically, my least favorite. This was the $15 Pimientos de Piquillo Rellenos, or Piquillo peppers stuffed with tuna, egg, olives & vegetables. The dish was cool as expected, and while I liked the sauce, I didn't find the texture appealing. The flavor was a bit light for me as well. Next came an excellent version of Tortilla Española for $13, a Spanish omelette with potatoes & onions. A lot of the other Spanish places mess up the texture, but this was perfectly soft and tender. There were plenty of potatoes in there as well, with the onions only mildly cooked down, which added a little bite. There were also two dishes featuring Serrano ham. One was the tasty $13 Judías Salteadas con Jamón Serrano, or sautéed green beans with said ham. The green beans had a nice texture, and the salty ham added a pleasant bite. The other dish with this ham was the Garbanzos a la Española, which was slightly more expensive but also better. For $16, this consisted of roasted garbanzos sautéed with Serrano ham & chorizo. I was surprised I liked this more, as I usually don't like these beans much, but the mixture was very pleasant with the chorizo adding some nice spice. We also ordered two other dishes with chorizo. First was the excellent Huevos al Antojo for $16 with cottage fries, egg, grilled chorizo, and red peppers. This almost felt like a fancy breakfast option with the thin-cut cottage fries having a nice texture, especially when mixed with the runny fried egg. The chorizo and red peppers added a necessary spice to this dish. Otherwise, there was the simpler Chorizo al Vino, or chorizo in wine sauce, for $14. This was as good as can be expected for such a plain dish, but it was still tasty. Rounding out the tapas was the $9 Patatas Bravas, or spicy potatoes with a cooling white sauce, which was pretty good too. I've had this in plenty of places, and this was decent. I have liked the texture more in some other places, but it was still good and was plenty piquant. Our remaining main dish was the $48 Paella Valencia, which had a mix of seafood and meat. The seafood included one of my allergens, but they removed it, so I was fine eating that dish. Otherwise, I believe the remaining ingredients, aside from the spices and peppers, were mussels, clams, shrimp, scallops, chicken, and chorizo. All the seafood inside was cooked nicely, and the rice had a good flavor. This was an excellent paella, and the portion size was quite large, still served in the large vessel it was cooked in. The remaining dish was dessert, the $9 Tarta de Santiago, or Spanish almond cake, served with vanilla ice cream, which might have been an extra charge, but I'm not positive. The cake had a marzipan flavor and was lightly sweet. It was a satisfying end to the meal. We had a very good meal here. No particular favorites, as everything was very tasty overall.
