I came here because I was a having very mild tooth pain that I thought I should get checked out just in case. I recently moved here, so I did not have a dentist established yet, but saw this place had good reviews. I came in for my tooth pain, they did some x rays and the Dr told me I needed a root canal and a crown. I was very surprised because I had gone to my usual dentist less than 4 months prior (also had x rays done) and they told me nothing about a root canal or crown. I was a little suspicious. So I went and had a second opinion done at a dentist that a few of my friends recommended. They told me nothing was wrong with my tooth or root, and the minor pain may be coming from my filling being close to a nerve. I am so glad I got a second opinion. Imagine the pain and money wasted if I had listened to this place. I really do think they just wanted my money. Will never be back here. read more

On my 2nd trip, Dr. Clark recommended treatment that for OUTSIDE reasons I wanted to postpone for a bit. I've never been a big fan of the dentist. Period. As a kid, I hated going to the dentist because even when I had a perfect checkup, I still ended up feeling like I'd been shamed. Dr. Clark is a world apart. I gave Dr. Clark and her team a try after seeing an ad in the circular at Costco. This should give you a clue as to how desperate I was to see a dentist. I've now seen Dr. Clark for two routine cleaning and exams and once more to have some cavities repaired and some sealants replaced. Dr. Clark and her staff run a fabulous operation. The office is tidy and welcoming and has really phenomenal equipment. She takes pictures with a tiny digital camera on the head of probe before and after the cleaning so I can see the difference. She also takes the time to walk me through her findings, go over any trouble areas, explain their significance, and gives me tips on how to take the best possible care of my teeth. There is no shaming or scolding with Dr. Clark and her team, just constructive feedback to help me keep me healthy. Amanda handled my x-rays during my last visit. She is the best assistant ever. She was kind, gentle, and very efficient in her work. I couldn't believe how quickly my appointment flew by. Billing isn't a hassle either because they accept most forms of payment and billed my insurance direct. I walked out without needing to sign a thing! Fantastic. Found this place from a list that my insurance provided. My initial visit was with Dr. Santana. She was very nice and so was the staff. I had a tooth that needed to be extracted so she referred me to Oral Surgeon. The surgeons office called this place to request my Xrays a few days before my appointment, when I arrived for the appointment I found that they had not been received. The woman at the new office called this place again before I arrived, but to no avail. Finally, they received 'Evelyn's' Xrays??!!! I'm NOT Evelyn. My surgeon's office ended up taking their own Xrays and were kind enough not to charge me. A few days later I called this place back regarding a different tooth that Dr. Santana said I needed a root canal on. The woman said that Santana was on vacation (??) so I guess that meant I needed to wait (what the heck?) I asked if the other dentist could look at my Xrays and call me back....guess what? I'm still waiting for the call! Needless to say I won't be going back here. read more

All I can say is WOW!! this has got to be by far the best dental office i have ever been to. I met both Dr. Clark and Dr. Santana and they were just incredible. I am by far the biggest baby when it comes to my teeth but they took things at my pace. They also showed me pictures and x-rays and explained step by step, and the assistant put music on pandora (big thumbs up for that), and gave me a warm pillow for my neck :) oh and by the way, the staff is great! everyone is so friendly and caring, you seriously can not get better service at any other dental office. It's nice to see that Dr. Clark and her staff have a perfect 5 star score. I'd like to continue their score I moved to SJ last year, and of course had to do the dentist search. I saw her ad in a Willow Glen community paper. She didn't have quite have as many reviews, but the few were all positive and stressed her gentle touch. At that time (beginning 2011) they were still a newer practice and had limited staff. My first visit I had to wait, because the Dr. got backed up with emergency type appts. so I had to split my first check-up up into 2 visits. But even though I saw how tired she was, Dr. Clark is very thorough and gentle. The equipment is very hi-tech modern and her gentle touch is relatively painless. I feel she's very up to date in her procedures- she fixed a major tooth sensitivity issue I've had for years by applying permanent filling sealant over my exposed enamel. My old dentist in san diego (who was great also) never offered that solution. His hygienist recommended intense fluoride treatments to help, but they were more short term relief. Dr. Clark's husband Scott is the office manager, and other reviews have mentioned how personable and friendly the assistants are. Also the office makes the payments really low key (they bill insurance directly). They now have a larger staff and the newest assistant I had was really great (name?). The staff really seem to remember who their patients are, it's a warm environment. My previous visit was delayed again, and because it was early in the morning, I was cranky with the delay. I think Dr. Clark suggested that Scott buy me a coffee which was a nice gesture. He also gave me a Starbucks giftcard which really surprised me. They really want to keep their patients happy =) A total recommendation for anyone looking for a gentle dentist who places premium on a caring staff. read more

I am so happy I meet Dr Adriana Clark! This place is absolutely fabulous! The office is so delightful and all new with total state of the art equipment! The colors and mural and art are all so delightful. They use low radiation digital x-rays! They show you all on a screen in front of you. She explains all very carefully and shows you the xrays and pictures of your teeth. My teeth were cleaned very well and she gave me great advise on care of my teeth. Unfortunately they found a few cavities and I had gone in because I had a tooth which broke. I went into my next appointment and had the broken tooth fixed and the old silver filling removed. She also quickly filled my two other small cavities. Everything was done quickly and painlessly! I am going back for my last cavity and again she will remove an old silver filling. Dr Clark has the most delicate demeanor and these tiny hands!!!-This is a great feature for a dentist!!! She is not pushy and listens very well. They worked well with my insurance and it seems from their brochure that they offer some great programs for those without insurance or seniors. Her entire staff is great and her husband is her office manager and a great asset to the business!! I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Clark to anyone. Wow! Aqua Dentistry is the Rolls Royce of Dental offices in Willow Glen! I'm a tough going guy that turns into a one year old in the dentist chair. I just had my first x-ray and teeth cleaning appointment with Dr. Clark and I left with nothing negative to say about the experience. Along with being very clean and comfortable, the office is filled with the latest technology in all aspects of dentistry. I was able to see pictures and x-rays taken of my teeth instantly on a large, clear monitor right in front of my face. Dr. Clark utilizes this technology and was able to explain what her findings were in a professional, yet approachable manner.
