When I bought my home in 2012, I stuck with the previous owners pool company for my in-ground pool. We paid for that company to come in and inspect the pool before purchase, and they found no issues. Right after closing on our house, we discovered that the filter pump was old and cracked, the skimmer lines were collapsing, the pool cover was unusable, the salt cell board was damaged, and that these issues cost major bucks that should have been resolved by the previous owner. Still, we didn't have another pool company lined up and used them to open our pool last season. This consisted of them pulling off the cover, dumping some chemicals in, and doing a quick and inefficient scrub. Once the bill for this lazy service came in at over $500, we knew we were idiots and started looking elsewhere for service!
We contacted Aqua Clean at the end of season last year to close up the pool, and not only did they do a tremendous job, our bill was very reasonable and we were very satisfied. We didn't realize how great they were however until they just opened up our pool for this season. The results were phenomenal!! They had much better equipment and were able to vacuum, scrub, and cleaned off the deck areas. Our pool is already almost clear within a day, unlike last season where it took over a week and a lot of work on our part to get it looking good. Though we fixed most of the issues last year that came up, we still need to replace the skimmer lines (we bought an aqua bot to use last year instead), and the owner came by within 20 minutes of us asking the workers about it to discuss everything with us. Not only that, but they are doing the work for much less than the "deal" the other company quoted to try to make up for the botched inspection. Bottom line is, you will not meet a nicer or more capable crew to handle your pool needs in a professional and timely matter. We will be using Aqua Clean for all of our needs in the future. read more
