I can't believe I'm even wasting my time writing this review, but I feel compelled to save others from the utter disaster that is Aptive Environmental. If I could give them zero stars, I would in a heartbeat. Let me start by saying that their customer service is nothing short of abysmal. From the moment I made my first call to them, I knew I was in for a wild ride. They were disorganized, unprofessional, and downright rude. It's as if they had absolutely no interest in helping me or addressing my concerns. But that's just the beginning. When they finally did decide to show up to my property, their so-called "expert" technicians displayed a stunning lack of knowledge. They fumbled around, seemingly unaware of the basics of pest control and environmental services. It was clear they were just going through the motions, with no real understanding of what they were doing. As if that weren't enough, the results were even worse. After wasting my time and money on their services, my pest problem not only persisted but actually got worse! It's as if they were intentionally making it worse to ensure they had repeat business. My property looked like a horror movie, and I was left with a hefty bill and a sense of hopelessness. To make matters worse, their pricing is outrageously high for the shoddy work they provide. I've dealt with other environmental service companies in the past, and Aptive Environmental is by far the worst in terms of value for money. I'd rather burn my money in a bonfire than spend another cent on their so-called services. In conclusion, if you value your time, money, and sanity, stay as far away from Aptive Environmental as possible. They are the epitome of incompetence, unprofessionalism, and greed. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for environmental services - literally anywhere else would be a better choice. Aptive Environmental is a disgrace to the industry, and I wouldn't wish their services on my worst enemy. read more

I would like to commend my service technician Michael Ogburn for the service provided on 6/14/19 and 7/10/19. He called before arriving which allowed me to be home to discuss my problem areas. He listened to all my concerns which were slug problems on my hostas, Japanese beetles on several of my flowers, spiders on my porch area, ants in my kitchen, and in areas outside my home and mice in my shed. He addressed all these areas and refilled the bait traps. He explained what he was using and how the products help. He has been to my home twice and both times he did an outstanding job. He deserves much more than five dollars because I was ready to find a new pest control company because my problem areas were not improving nor were they answering my messages that were left with the company answering service. He saved the company from losing a customer. I truly appreciated his kindness and his sincere desire to provide great customer service. He truly went above and beyond. Ryan Byrd was our technician for our 1st quarterly application. He called to let me know he was running late and then called to let me know he was on his way so I could lock the dog door. I am disappointed in the sales person for misleading us. We had just had our application from another company and were getting frustrated. He told us the difference between the other companies and Aptiva was that they could indeed go down to the lake and place treatment. When I showed Ryan some areas in the yard he shook his head and said that would create run off and go into the lake, and they were not allowed to do that. I had also expressed frustration with companies doing a great job to start then slacking. The salesman said "we will make sure we put our best tech on next time we are here." I responded "you should put your best techs on each and every time" As long as I can keep Ryan on my quarterly treatments we will be happy, he seemed very knowledgable and thorough. read more

I had my first service this morning and it was a very good experience! Codie, Aptive Service professional, he called me before he came, showed up on time, introduced himself and went over what he was going to do and asked if I had any current problems or concerns and we walked around my house together. He then did his job and let me know he was finished and he didn't observe any problems. He said he would be back in 30 days for his follow-up and next application and after that service I would be billed for my first quarterly payment. While I didn't like having a "door to door" salesman, JT was professional and courteous. He explained the service in detail and I had already received quotes from Terminex but Aptive had a better overall price. Hopefully my next services are as good of an experience as this one. We generally have good experiences with Aptive, but yesterday was a standout. When Fred Stevenson came by yesterday, he proceeded to begin to treat the backyard. My wife had been upstairs when he arrived and didn't realize he was there. She let the dogs out to the backyard, then realized that they had gotten out through the front gate. Fred, not knowing if the dogs were aggressive or not, did the right thing and went back to his truck. Where he was really amazing yesterday, though, was afterwards. One of the dogs went right back inside when called, but the other one ran off. My wife took off after her, and ended up slipping and breaking her ankle. Fred got out of his truck and helped her limp her way back to the house so she could call me at work. In short: good, reliable pest control, and staff who is willing to go an extra couple of miles. read more

Our first service was pleasant and efficient. Austin T. showed up on time and was polite. He took time to answer my questions and look at the spots that needed additional attention. This is our first experience, but so far, it has been as we were told when we signed up. They do have a year contract with fees for quarterly treatments and a cancellation fee, so I suggest that you know what you are signing up for so you are not surprised when you are billed for the services. It was very clearly outlined by the sales professional, part of the written contract I signed, and explained by Austin before the first treatment. We have already scheduled a free reapplication to make sure the wasps nest in the gutter is taken care of. So far, we are pleased with the treatment and we are hopeful that we will be able to see a difference. read more

We just signed up with these folks for pest control. Our initial contact was with Caleb :sp. He was very well groomed, well spoken, wearing a company uniform with insignia and answered all our questions. Two gentlemen came by today for our first treatment were also in company uniforms and truck with license number and logo clearly emblazoned on the vehicle. Both men were very courteous, polite and professional. Put on booties before entering the house and hopefully our black ant and stink bug issue will be short lived from here. They also treated all around the house. We signed up for a one year program and feel like the price was very competitive with other similar services. Time will tell but this being just the beginning we feel very comfortable doing business with Aptive. read more

I had a very HARD core sales pitch at my door, which had me a bit skeptical the day before the application. BUT.....after meeting Brandon Grant yesterday, I feel as though this company is going to be AWESOME! He went WAY above and beyond, even in this crazy 100+ heat. He took the time to explain everything that he was doing, showing me the "ant-bait" and how they were immediately attracted to the bait, taking it to their queen. Courteous, professional and kind, that's what Brandon has behind his name. Fingers crossed that the service actually works, but I have a good feeling. Abayomi Aiyedebinu was extremely polite and professional and we really appreciated him going above and beyond with the interior and exterior spraying. We have 2 dogs and a baby boy coming in 3 days and he made sure everyone was safe and recommend not spraying the baby's room. He even wiped up anything that dripped while spraying edges of floors inside our home so our dogs couldn't lick it up. If all your techs are as great as Abayomi Aiyedebinu than you'll definitely have a long time customer with us. He definitely deserves a bonus, and please thank him again from the Smith family. I'd like to give a shout-out to Shawn Reeves of Aptive who came out to service our house for an ant problem. Shawn was very friendly and patiently answered all my questions. And then when I felt anxious later about the sprays and whether they were safe for our young daughter's room, I called him and he kindly explained that Aptive is unlike other traditional pest control companies in that your sprays are plant-based and that's one reason he chose to work for you so he himself wouldn't fear cancer down the road. Nathan, the salesperson that stopped by my house to offer Aptive's services, caught me on exactly the right day. I had woken up that very morning to a small spider crawling across my bed, so I was probably going to say yes to whatever he said Aptive could do. That being said, Nathan was great, not pushy, and did a fantastic job of explaining Aptive's offerings. Adam R., the team member that came out during my scheduled time block IN SPITE OF the driving rain, 9pm dark skies at 10am, and intermittent lightening, was a trooper! I have had their service for over a year and have been overall satisfied. My favorite part is the reservice. They will come back between their 3 month services for free to address any pests. I recently had Kyle Harvey come out and answer a ton of questions I had about my current pest. He was patient and very informative. Really sounded like he knew what he was doing. They aren't always great about getting all of the spider webs off of my front porch, which is a royal pain. But Kyle was out for a different service and he deserves five stars for service. So after a year contract and having a mice infestation 6 months into the contract, we terminated the contract. 2 months later, we called another pest control company and turns out since Aptive incompetence, we now need to pay $10k. The attic was never treated and now needs to be addressed with removal of insulation and treated. Not one time they went into the attic and hold to be told to treat the basement. This is by far the worst company ever. I wouldn't recommend them to any even if it was free. And I do have the communications to back it up. read more

mmerrifield....Just recently we had Aptive come out and service our yard, then come out for a re-service. Ryan Byrd was very professional and friendly, and did his job quickly and thoroughly. He treated the pesky, persistent ants in our backyard, knocked down lots of webs on front porch and garage eaves. My husband asked if he could re-treat along outside of house where the fireplace is located, and was happy to treat the inside perimeter of our kitchen and family room. Thank you Ryan! I switched to Aptive from Terminex earlier this year and so far, it's been a positive experience. I receive quarterly services for pest control as I live in a wooded area and see a lot of pests. Since switching, I have not noticed nearly as many spiders and Silverfish as I used to with previous carriers. Since it's getting cold, I also wonder about rodents coming in and how to protect my house. So I had some questions on my last service visit. His demeanor was polite and respectful. Adam performed our quarterly service today. He was unbelievably professional and attentive to my questions. He asked what our areas of concern and we continue to have bugs in the garage as we live close to a field and the time of year. He was efficient and promptly sprayed the garage, he wiped eves and spread pellets for crickets in the yard and had come in the garage. I Switched from another pest company (hawks) that did my quarterly application and due to having to call them back to actually complete the full service I was paying for (I have cameras). Signing up with aptive was easy. They use the same chemicals that hawks used but do a more thorough job. Austin Trackwell was very good at communicating what he was going to do as well as what he did after he finished. He's a very polite and respectful technitian.
