My wife specifically told your salesman that we have a toddler and a dog and that we could have no toxic products applied to our yard. You lied to her flat out. Per your invoice, you covered our yard in Bifen (Bifenthrin). Per Wikipedia the U.S. EPA classified bifenthrin as a Category C, possible human carcinogen (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carcinogen). It is toxic to mammals. Bifenthrin can be absorbed by humans either by skin contact or ingestion. It is a persistent chemical and is not water soluble. Making it very difficult to wash off. This has made at our yard a no go zone for our dog and our child. You even put a sign in our yard specifically with a picture of a dog and a child saying "keep off lawn". I knew immediately when I got home from work something was wrong as my saddled feet started to burn. Bifenthrin has a half-life in the soil of up to eight months. Meaning we could be exposed to this for years. How greedy must your company be to put children and pets in danger for a few dollars. Then again except for obvious shills for your company nobody has anything nice to say.

A tree Aptive killed.

Been an Aptive customer for 2 years now and that's probably 23 months too long. Their services are sub standard and I couldn't agree more with some of the comments about service guys sitting in their vehicle and driving away. They're supposed to remove cobwebs, but they seem to miss them, all the time, even on return visits. On the last visit they killed this tree......their chemicals they say are safe for vegetation, and while non of the other plants are damaged, this tree was quite healthy until their last visit, a few days later it looked like this. When I called them they pretty much called me a liar and that they couldn't have done this. Such carelessness and poor service shouldn't be allowed to continue. Would g ive negative stars if I could. Avoid this company. If Aptive is the only company you can get make sure you baby sit them when they arrive.

Once you contact them they spam you to death. I did business with them once and the results were not good.

He was super polite and asked if there were any particular areas that needed attention and then he followed up afterwards to see if I had any questions.

This is a weird situation but it all happened around Christmas. I moved into a new place, and…read morestarted to notice bugs. So I called Orkin. They set me up with a new contract December 2025. It turns out my landlord was paying Orkin and set them up earlier in the year August 2025. I'm a single mom, who doesn't have a lot of money. I found out the issue, that we have the same service for the same address. They charged me $188 to get started with the service, but after I called and explained the situation. I requested a refund, and even said on their web-site 30 day money back guarantee. They would not issue a refund. They did cancel the contract. I have talked to at least 3 or 4 people including managers. But they stated, they did the first service on my contract therefore I get charged. I just feel like when I set up the service, there should be away to check and make sure service is not already set up. I feel this was fraudulent because they did not catch the mistake. I noticed they were coming every week, instead every couple weeks. And bam this mess started. It's been frustrating, and although I should asked my landlord. But I really didn't know that landlords took care of pest control. And Orkin never asked me any additional information. Just signed me up on a new contract. Told me they had a 30 day money back guarantee and really didn't honor it. Yes it was the situation. I was unhappy with, but they offered no additional refund.

Critter Removal Indianapolis - Team ready for remediation

Critter Removal Indianapolis

A few months ago, I walked into my upstairs storage closet and discovered insulation scattered all…read moreover the floor. As I looked closer, I found walnuts. That's when I knew immediately the squirrels had made their way into the attic. They had taken up residence in my detached garage the previous summer and were humanely ushered out, so I suppose they were just looking for a new home! As a devoted animal lover and supporter, it was very important to me to find a company that would address the issue humanely and not harm the animals. That's when I found Critter Removal Indianapolis. From my very first contact, they were professional, personable, and extremely thorough in explaining their services and pricing. I immediately hired them and I can honestly say they have to be one of the best in the city. Throughout the entire process, they quietly monitored the situation and kept me updated in a timely and reassuring manner. Their approach is thoughtful and humane, which meant everything to me. Upon completion, they honored my request to text me when the work was done and to let me know the invoice had been emailed (I get so much spam and didn't want to miss it!). That level of attentiveness says so much about their customer care. The technicians were professional and respectful, and the home office communication was absolutely spot-on. I truly hope you never have attic critters but if you do, Critter Removal Indianapolis is the company to call. Humane, professional, and exceptional service from start to finish.

I have really wrestled with both whether or not to and how to review Critter Removal Indianapolis…read more Here's the thing. I really liked these folks. They're undeniably popular and their reviews obviously speak for themselves. I suppose that's part of what makes my experience worth noting. I called Critter Removal Indianapolis due to a squirrel in my home that I'd been unable to address myself or with assistance. I called Critter Removal Indianapolis on a Wednesday and made arrangements the next day for one of their employees to come by the house the next day at noon. While I hate having to miss work, this squirrel had become a major nuisance. The appointment was scheduled for noon - I was sent a link to be able to track my appointment (a cool touch, though also a bit alarming as the time changes and my appointment ended up happening around 1:30pm). I'd e-mailed them through their website and had gotten a response pretty quickly with a general idea of pricing. That went well. Once the employee arrived, he explained the process - essentially photographing trouble spots, developing a plan, submitting the paperwork to the office, getting an estimate, and then agreeing in writing to the estimate. I hadn't been aware there was sort of a pre-step, somewhat disappointing, but I remained hopeful. I made it clear to the employee that the squirrel was actually in my home - not a crawl space, basement, or attic. It was actually in my living space. It was actually in my living space when he came out. As he was taking photographs, the squirrel was walking across my kitchen counter. Seriously. The estimate came and I agreed quickly after a review of it. It was actually lower than the original price range. I was told they could be out the next morning and that I would not need to be home. I had every hope that they'd arrive on Friday and get the critter quickly. However, when I got home it was clear that hadn't happened. There had been no signs of actual arrival (and no contact). Over the weekend, things got worse and ultimately a friend ended up calling what she thought was the company to basically say "Why are you not out there?" Let's be honest. It was a legit question. She actually had called a different company that came within the hour. Within a half hour or so, the squirrel was caught and removed. And yes, it was in my kitchen when caught. To Critter Removal's credit (Hannah specifically), they were perfectly polite and gracious when I e-mailed them Sunday and said the squirrel had been caught and explained the situation. I canceled my appointment. So, here we go. Great initial inquiry. Friendly people and very thorough. However, I can't help but feel like policy came before people here. While all critter issues are important, a critter in a living space is sort of an elevated concern both because of safety and potential biohazard due to waste. As a wheelchair user, I was at even greater risk of potential infection. There was a lot of good here. I don't want to dismiss that. But, if we're being honest, given the circumstances it's pretty inexcusable that after being told on Wednesday a critter was in the house and after having been in my home the next day, I should have had help well before Sunday afternoon when the issue finally got resolved. While I might consider calling Critter Removal again for more preventative measures (I did like some of their plans), if I were in a crisis? I would have to look elsewhere.
