The quality and variety of their cloth made it easy for me to choose what i wanted, and their tailor was very easy to work with. They were very helpful in offering color and material suggestions. I had them make one suit, 2 pairs of pants, 2 white shirts and one sports jacket. I was very pleased with how they took care of me and did everything in a short amount of time. Was in HK for a long weekend and together with my 25 year old son and on a whim walked in Apsley. We received friendly and attentive service and he was given choices that fit his taste and style. He intended to just get a suit but they were able to get the suit ready for a fitting and adjustments were made in time for us to not only take the suit but also a blazer with us. Sharry helped him with his deciding on his suit and Moon helped with the blazer. They were also friendly to me and my mom and Moon was nice enough to give us some space while my son was deciding on whether he would get the blazer. The quality of the material is high end and the details and fit of the final products are befitting the reputation Apsley intends to maintain. I highly recommend Apsley Tailors to anyone looking to have clothes made. Apsley produced three shirts, one pair of pants, and a sport coat that were high-quality and cost-effective. Moreover, Khan's customer service is outstanding. He took my measurements and helped me select fabric on one visit and six weeks later had my clothes ready for a fitting. When the pants didn't fit absolutely perfectly, Khan made the changes and mailed the pants to me days later. Apsley Tailors is a high-quality establishment and Khan is a highly reliable person. Terrific place. I was originally planning on going to Sam's Tailor, but Apsley opened first so I checked them out. As you know, the early bird gets the worm. The entire staff were kind and helpful. At no point did I feel pressured into anything or even into "buying now". They did a great job creating a suit that fit my taste and the suit turned out perfect. They even did a couple of fabrication tricks to take the suit to the next level. I highly recommend this place. It might be a slightly more expensive but I left beyond satisfied. I paid roughly $700 USD for a suit and 1 shirt, but I got the upgraded lining and such. read more

I purchased customs suits and outwear from 3 tailors in Hong Kong. I was extremely satisfied with 2, but Apsley's product was inferior, poorly fitted, and more expensive than better clothing from the competition. When I received my suits and overcoat, they did not fit and my name was spelled incorrectly on the embroidery. When in Hong Kong, I had requested a second fitting but was assured by the salespersons that it was not necessary as their method was far superior. False. I call to request alterations and was asked to drive from Charlotte to Atlanta to send with a salesperson back to Hong Kong. I asked instead for a return shipping label and Apsely refused. Terrible customer service and I have had to pay for the alterations myself. Avoid! Go to Sam's or any other tailor in the city for that matter. read more

I came to Hong Kong with the goal of getting some suits made relatively quickly as I start my job in Finance in a few weeks. I had an appointment booked with Raja Tailors, but some of the reviews had me worried. I found Apsley online and decided to stop by before my meeting Raja. Alex meet me and addressed all of my needs. He diligently showed me all of the different suit, shirt and liner color options with some excellent suggestions. In doing my due diligence I still went to the appointment at Raja. Don't get me wrong Raja has a nice set up, but the personal touch wasn't there for me. As Alex carefully took me through the options, Raja just gave me the books and said pick away. This was quite overwhelming. Long story short I purchased my three suits and six shirts from Apsley for a great value. After one fitting and 36 hours later everything was ready and fitting great. Beware offers of a 'free' custom shirt from this place. After many inquiries they claim 'pay for shipping again, something went wrong.' Three of us ordered extras - upgraded fabric, French cuffs, etc. It has been two months and they just want more money although no package was received or denied at our door. read more
