He intended to just get a suit but they were able to get the suit ready for a fitting and adjustments were made in time for us to not only take the suit but also a blazer with us. Sharry helped him with his deciding on his suit and Moon helped with the blazer. They were also friendly to me and my mom and Moon was nice enough to give us some space while my son was deciding on whether he would get the blazer. The quality of the material is high end and the details and fit of the final products are befitting the reputation Apsley intends to maintain. The experience was pleasurable, they have a customer for life!

We were recommended the place by family friends who are HK locals. The shop itself is quaint, but has endless amounts of material to select from. The tailor was very cheerful and worked efficiently. He provided good input on the latest styles of suits, and it was clear he had been doing this for awhile and took pride in his craft. We were a little nervous about how it would turn out since we were only in Hong Kong for a couple of days, and would only be available for the initial measurement (no follow-up fittings). When the suits were finally completed, he was more than pleased with the outcome. The suits fit great and for $150.00 USD per suit, totally worth it. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you're ever in HK and are interested in looking to get an affordable bespoke suit made!

Been coming here for custom tailor suits twice and had a decent quality suit made. Came back after…read more7 yrs to make another suit. The place hasnt changed a bit. But not sure who is making the suits now. The suit came a bit tight and was curvy shaped on the waste unlike the ones before. Didnt accept it and had them redo it. Second fitting was also disappointing but had to catch a flight home and didnt have time to wait anymore. Not sure if I'll go back again.

I had several shirts I wanted copied in different colors because I liked the style. He said that they used Thomas Mason fabric and since I was only going to wear these shirts occasionally, he recommended to go to Shamshuipo to the fabric market for less expensive fabric and they will make the shirt for me at a cheaper price. As a bargain shopper, that made me so happy! How many proprietors would suggest that?! Well I did that and I also used their in store fabric and have been happy with my shirts. Ornald is a very busy guy so be prepared to wait a bit or better yet, make an appointment to see him. Over the years, they've made clothes for me that have have copied the styles of Hollywood's latest fashions. From Tom Cruise's suit in MI4 to Daniel Craig's suits in Spectre, I've always been with the times because of Grand Tailor. So I decided to create a Yelp entry in their honor, in hopes that they flourish in the ever rising rent environment that is Hong Kong, so that I may continue having a great tailor. I highly recommend that you do research and bring pictures of the suits that you'd like to have made as they speak mostly only Cantonese, very little Mandarin, and even less English. Suits typically cost HKD8,800 and up. Shirts are HKD600 and up. But these guys will actually make you look and feel like a million bucks! Anyways, I'll put some pictures up when I have a chance. Anyone who wants to have a bespoke suit made without going to England and without paying US$3,000-5,000 for a suit should pay Grand Tailor a visit.

It says Kimberly Road - which I figured it's the main building. But entrance is in small alleyway. It's open 24 hours and accept only major local cash payment cards. No cash is accepted.
