From the moment I walked into the store, Vijay was extremely courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. He explained to me the entire process, and was patient as I asked many questions. He did not pressure me to buy or to upgrade, but simply tried to find out how he could serve me better. I ended up getting a tuxedo, vest, and custom tuxedo shirt. I was so pleased with the process after the first day, that I ordered 2 more custom shirts when I came back for my fitting. I needed 1 more adjustment on the vest, and Vijay was happy to do everything in order to make me happy. Unfortunately, Vijay had let me know he had to leave the day I was to receive the shirts. I've come to that age in life where all my friends are starting to get married. It's like the opposite of the movie Wedding Crashers, where they have fun crashing weddings the day wedding season starts. I, on the other hand, feel the pressure of being in a relationship and unmarried. What I meant to say was I'm so happy for my friends... yea. Anyway, wedding season means suits, and a couple of them. Maybe it's just me but I'm never comfortable with people trying to sell me something, even if I want it! So being asked to enter every second tailor I pass makes me suspicious. I was going to enter, but then you asked me to enter and said you'd give me a discount. Oh boy, that makes me suspicious. I'm going to get a suit, but only from some one that doesn't want to sell it to me. The human psyche at its most moronic. Maybe it's just me. Luckily enough, while I was still a student, I happened to meet a lovely young lady whose family runs a tailoring shop. She never asked me to visit, or offered a discount which made me extremely eager to see the place. Remy Fashions is a small shop run by a man named Gary. He's obviously good at what he does because he sized me up the moment I stepped in the door. With an easy smile and measuring tape he confirmed my dimensions, and from there explained to me the different materials available, which ones for which climates, why I should have two buttons instead of three. Fashion things that I had no clue about. Two days later I returned for the first fitting. Gary wasn't there but his son was. The man was just as professional but slightly more convincing when it came to fashion tips, I suppose because his age was not far from mine! Another two days and I was able to pick up the final master piece, for a master piece it was, and still is. It's easy to feel like a VIP while being measured from head to toe for a suit that will only look good on you and Remy Fashions do it with precision and perfection. Since then I've returned to have another suit made... for another wedding... not mine.

They measured him on the spot and in less than 24 hours he came in for a fitting and the following day came to pick it up. Very efficient and amazing quality! My husband is very pleased with his custom suit. They even told us if we wanted another one, he can email them and they will keep his measurements on file. However I am glad because the darts do indeed look much better, just not what was originally asked for. All that being said, Shaniel is very nice. This is a family owned business that a father and son runs and they are very kind and are willing to work together with you for a product that you will like. They are right next to Sam's however I would say you are getting the same quality for better service at a better price. Know your materials, and know what styles you want before hand. They can only show you examples, but you yourself must know what you want. Their turn over for producing a shirt was much faster as they were ready the next day, and small fixes were even available the same day. They were very friendly and talkative so I felt a sense of higher transparency while going through this process. Don't be afraid to ask questions and tell them if something isn't how you want it to be! They were very willing to work together with me. Be prepared to go for multiple fittings! I fitted my shirt twice. If you want your shirt to fit right the first time, that is just how it should be. The shirts I got fit amazing and I am very happy with this experience.
