We went for a family late lunch, everything we had was delicious, we decided to order diff things and share so we could try more things and loved it! Now looking at bill I have been charged for water $7 Didn't ask my friend if she was charged $7 also. This spot is a truly truly a great eatery food is wonderful and packed with flavor and cook just right, the ambience is good for couples or small groups. Came here on a Friday night around 630PM and though it wasn't full I would suggest you make reservations wince it did eventually get full by the time we finished. The ambiance is fantastic with the open kitchen and the friendly staff. They do aim to please the customer. We had the Mussels and Antipasi for appetizers and both were very good. I ordered the Fruti de Mare with Linquini and the tomato sauce was spot on. The squid ink Risotto was also very good. Finally we had the Picanha and Argentinian chorizo and both were excellent. What impressed was that I ordered simple dishes and all were well executed. We finished with the Tiramisu and cheesecake and both were very good as well. We came to this place this evening randomly, looking for a place to have dinner. We were greeted at the door by Andrea that seated us and also waited on us for the evening. We enjoyed a Negroni and a smoked old-fashioned cocktail before dinner. We ordered a beef carpaccio appetizer that was very good. Found this restaurant in Instagram and the decor looked really beautiful and the desserts called my attention. I went with my family on a Sunday and, may be that was the problem. The service was really off and our bread got to the table after our appetizers but before our food. Every time we needed more water I had to call somebody because all the staff was talking and laughing behind the counter. The food was ok not really good and not bad . Made a same day reservation for 5 for dinner. There is both inside and outside seating. Inside is a nice industrial decor. The A/C was definitely working because it was cold inside. The staff was dressed in Halloween costumes and a few wore masks. Ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio and a Calzone. The Calzone was very good. It was filled with ham, mushroom & cheese. The crust was good and the marinara sauce was great. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh and meals made from scratch. Service was good until we were ready to leave. It took forever to get our waiter to bring the check. We asked someone else and they let the waiter know, but he literally walked past our table several times without even acknowledging that he knows we needed him. The reason for no more than ** is at first sight there were 2 women chopping, one had gloves on and was chopping cherry tomatoes, the other had no gloves & was cutting mushrooms. Once the lady without the gloves was done with the mushrooms she began using her hands to pick a handful of tomatoes & chop them in half. Now, I'm sure a lot of restaurants have people doing this, it's just not what you should be doing when there's glass put for the diner to see! Plates are between 11-30$ per person. They offer different options on drinks like cocktails, wines, beers, etc. A tried the chilcano mule that is similar as Moscow mule but with pisco and with passion fruit. We didn't order an appetizer because we wanted dessert so I ordered the truffle Mac and cheese and was really good ( I love truffle and Mac and cheese). Went for my birthday dinner not knowing anything about the restaurant besides that it was Italian. The place is casual, nothing special about the setting. Tried their passion fruit mojito to start which was refreshing and sweet. Overall the food was good but nothing extraordinary, and they need to do better bringing it out. The timing is definitely way off. We were brought one plate of pasta for one person, we were seven at the table, and nothing else for anyone for a few minutes. No cheese or pepper offered until we asked either. My pasta was not hot when it came. We asked for extra bread and that never arrived. Someone accidentally spilled a cocktail and no refill was offered. I feel like they can definitely improve a lot on the service. We were left with no water for a long time with no acknowledgement from our waitress. What makes it worse is that they automatically include tips on the bill. In my experiences this is usually a red flag as restaurants that do this tend to lack in service and they were not short staffed. Don't see myself repeating this place with so many options in town. read more
