Our experience with Cape Cod Gutters was extremely disappointing and, in our view, completely…read moreunprofessional. The company provided an estimate to install gutters, we agreed to the terms, and the job was scheduled. On the first installation date, they did not show up and did not call. The job was rescheduled. On the second date, again, there was no show and no call. We then rescheduled a third time and were given an absolute assurance that the installation would take place. Once again, the company failed to appear. By that point, the project had been delayed approximately one month, and I had taken multiple days away from other responsibilities specifically to be home for the installation. On the morning of the third missed appointment, I contacted the owner. Rather than apologizing or attempting to resolve the situation professionally, he laughed and told me, "It's not happening today, buddy." When I explained that three missed appointments without notice were unacceptable and that I had rearranged my schedule repeatedly based on their commitments, the conversation became aggressive and included foul language from the owner. After terminating that conversation, we subsequently received a text asking whether we wanted to schedule yet another installation date. At that point, we had no confidence left in the company. Three separate no-shows without proper communication, repeated assurances that were not honored, and the owner's response when confronted about the situation made this one of the most frustrating contractor experiences we have had. Our concern ultimately went beyond scheduling. If a company cannot reliably communicate, keep appointments, or handle a legitimate customer complaint professionally before the work even begins, it raises serious questions about what kind of response a customer could expect if there were ever a workmanship, warranty, or follow-up issue after installation. We chose not to proceed with Cape Cod Gutters. Based solely on our experience, we found the company unreliable, extremely difficult to communicate with, and lacking the level of professionalism we expect from a contractor.

Street Appeal Pros brings house power washing to a new level…read more Seeing green mold and missing shingles on my home was very discouraging. My past experience with power washing though inexpensive was done by a cheerful fellow who left behind light fixtures full of water that then did not work, pulp litter from shingles all over and a lightly cleaned deck. John and his crew explained the process with eco-friendly products. They not only did a thorough cleaning but sealed the shingles for about 10 yr protection. And All pulp was removed. Shingles even at roofline were replaced. My skylights were washed clean. My badly stained deck has new life. Not even my outdoor thermometer was disturbed. After the job was completed I was unable to unscrew the hose from the outlet. John promptly returned to fix this and rolled up my hose for winter. The cost was worthwhile, did raise my property value. What a relief to have my home looking like it is loved!

The team was prompt, cleaned up the job site thoroughly and also our copper trim and roof peak also look great. After seeking estimates from multiple companies and a few iterations of the scope of our work, we are happy that we went with Patrick and his team. In the future we plan to have another two stages to address and will go back to them for the work. Hytech came highly recommended. The team communicates well, sets a schedule and sticks to it and supervises all work. They also provided a great reference for the chimney pan work that was a prerequisite for the roof work. The estimate was also detailed and timely. All questions answered quickly over phone or email. Made the process straightforward and no delays.

From start to finish, communication was excellent. There was always someone who answered the phone pleasantly and could provide accurate, up-to-date information about the project. That alone was so appreciated! There is also something so special about working with a family-run business. That personal touch, genuine pride in their work, and sense of responsibility to their customers really make a difference. And to our surprise, they actually moved our installation up by a day! How refreshing, especially these days, to work with a company that under-promises and over-delivers! It's a pleasure to recommend a company that does what it says it will do and more.
