team came out to house and gave an estimate to clean gutters and replace some sections. they scheduled an appointment about 3 weeks out, the night before the appointment they called to say they wont be out for another 2 weeks due to staffing. they say someone just took time off this week. if you look at other reviews this is very common for this business. they want to lock everyone into a floating date so the company has the flexibility to do this. if they actually show I the appointment that is 2 weeks from the original I'll repost a review on the quality of the work. but as my friend said if a company spends a lot on marketing they can't spend a lot on customer service. Work crew of 5 people arrived promptly on time & work hard & "in sync" to complete job in three hours, including cleaning up after themselves. They replaced three fascia boards on 2nd floor and all related gutters and down spouts. Also stained wood with Thompson Water Seal. I wouldn't even bother to write this except for their obnoxious and near constant radio advertising claiming to be able to handle gutter jobs that are complicated etc. The commercial is on so often and every time I'm reminded of our experience with them and reminded to write. My elderly parents own a raised ranch and hired these clowns, who, after one year told them the job was too much and turned it down. For reference my father, who is now 83 has done the gutters every year and just NOW is thinking maybe he should leave ladders to someone else. It's unbelievable a company would brag about no job being beyond them but tell a guy who's been doing it for literally the last 50 years "nope, too much of a hassle." I emailed Cape Cod Gutter Monkeys on a Saturday, got a phone call on Sunday, from (no less!) and set up service for Tuesday. Then received a voice mail from Michelle on Monday confirming the Tuesday appointment. Another thunderstorm and torrential rain forecast for the afternoon. As we were having problems with gutters and flooding, it was amazing that they were able to come before the storm hit us again!
