I would not recommend this company, based on both past and recent experiences. Over 20 years ago,…read morethey did siding and windows on my parents' house. Years later, the windows were letting in drafts. When my parents tried to file a claim, the manufacturer said the issue was with the installation, and when they went back to the contractor, the contractor blamed the window company. My parents were left to eat the cost. Didn't put two and two together until now. Fast forward to 2021, I had them install gutters on my house. In 2023, I called for a roof quote but never moved forward. In 2026, I tried to call them again, but they wouldn't return my call. Upon inspecting my gutters, I discovered major installation issues: the leaf fitters were shoved underneath my shingles, shingles from a previous roof layer were pushed back and the gutters were installed too high. This poor work has caused my fascia board to rot over time. So glad they haven't returned my call. Stay away and don't be naive like me. Needless to say, I've hired someone else for full roof replacement along with fascia board, soffit and gutters.

Our building was sold recently and the new company chose to use RentReady to clean the public…read morespaces, and our building has gone from very clean to filthy in no time. The pictures speak for themselves of just the elevator: they sprayed a metal cleaner on the walls, but did not actually clean... they just left it there, leaving a slimy "film" for everyone to use for drawings. Our (carpeted) hallways on the apartment floors used to be vacuumed 2x week; I have no idea what the current contract's vacuum schedule is, but it has been 33 days since my floor's hallways were last cleaned...maybe the schedule is once every other month?? Mopping the tile floors in the lobby with clean water would also be a good idea; simply moving dirty water around leaves streaks (which should be really obvious??!!). I have new neighbors across the hall, and they noticed on move-in day that the apartment still needed cleaning in the kitchen and bathroom; the last people in there were the RentReady people, so it makes sense that they moved into an apartment that actually was NOT "rent ready".

As a home owner who doesn't make any repairs himself and frequently uses contractors, Top Dog Home…read morePro has been among the best contractors I have used. When it comes to home repairs, it's usually pick two out of three: affordability, quality work, availability. Top Dog Home Pro actually meets all 3. My co-worker referred me, and I actually had one other I had in mind from another co-worker reference, but Top Dog wins it out by the service they provide and the attention to detail. They offered the most comprehensive package at the best price. I couldn't be happier with the new roof I received, and the dealings I had with Top Dog Home Pro. Note that I have a large roof, but they got over 9 people to come work on my roof and got it done in a day. This is much better than a roofer who comes with just one other, and does a rush job. 5 stars all around, I'd give 6 if I could.

In the past five years, I've used this service several times for various jobs at my rental…read moreapartments - unclogging kitchen drains, fixing leaks, installing a hot water heater, installing new fixtures and valves, installing tile, etc. - and have found the work to be satisfactory and nominally priced - though somewhat messy at times. Recently, on a basic job to unclog a kitchen drain, Johnstone declined to give me an estimate upfront on the job time and charges and wouldn't even tell me the charge at the end of the job. Ordinarily, I'd insist, but he'd done work for me before, so I figured the charge for unclogging the drain would be comparable to previous jobs. I ended up having to take time off from work waiting for him to finish the job and then received a bill in the mail that was over $100 greater than for similar jobs. What's more, Johnstone didn't have any drain cleaner (acid) in his vehicle, so he had to leave the site for half an hour to get it and apparently charged me for that time. When I called him about the higher charge, his response was maybe he hadn't been charging me enough in the past. Regrettably, I won't be using this service anymore and highly recommend you get a written estimate before hiring him for any plumbing or tile job. So much for enduring business relationships!
