Throughout the process, Lisa was highly responsive and professional. Her long experience as a realtor was very helpful since this was our first property sale. She made several recommendations that were important right from the start of the sales process. I highly recommend Lisa for these reasons. She's a highly intelligent, hard-working, capable agent, and a comfortable person to deal with during a complex series of showings, inspections, and through the closing process. Thank you Lisa!

I rented an apartment through them- found it on Craigslist and they coordinated everything between…read moreme and the owners. The owners lived in Florida and it caused some big miscommunications. First, the house was A MESS when we moved in. We asked during the walk through if it would be cleaned and the realtor (Holly) said she had already done enough. We asked about the filthy rugs and she said she had vaccumed them and that the owners wouldn't be willing to do anything else. There was literally mouse poop on the kitchen floor and they just suggested to get an exterminator. Should've walked away when we had the chance. Landscaping and snow removal were included in the lease, but then we were told landscaping wasn't actually going to be included because we had a dog. Ok, then winter came. One.. two.. three snow storms and no one ever came to plow our driveway as planned. We reached out to the owner, who was obviously out of the loop, and she tried to track them down. Of the 10 times it snowed, not once did a plow person show up. After we called and emailed, they showed up once at 6pm... we had already shoveled our cars out. The refrigerator wasn't working when we moved in, also. Apparently it had been unplugged with a bunch of ice inside, which melted and then refroze.. blocking the vent to the fridge part. It took SEVEN DAYS for it to be fixed. Not the best first week in a new place. Especially after paying to have the rugs cleaned and cleaning the entire house ourselves. A few weeks later, the oven starting stinking of gas and we weren't able to use it. This time it took over 2 weeks to get a new oven. (Lotsss of take out our first month there) To top it off, Holly told us the statement of condition/walk through wasn't something they did, and never put our deposit in an interest bearing account (both MA state laws). When we moved out, the owners tried to have us pay for the rugs to be cleaned and didn't want to refund our deposit. The house also had a history of lead/Deleading, but the realtor didn't have any of the paperwork. I had to track down someone from the town's office for the inspection report, and I also had another inspection completed for piece of mind. For charging a $500 realtor fee, you'd think they would do something, anything, told hold up their own responsibility in renting out a unit. They didn't even follow standard state laws. I definitely don't recommend working with this group.

It was a complex situation, but when I suggested a commission of 3 or 4 thousand, that was deemed insulting to the firm. In different circumstances, I think he would be a good agent if actual buying and selling took place.

I understand being thorough and wanting to make…read moresure that a person is trustworthy, before entering into a lease agreement with that particular person. However, there is a line between being thorough and just being unreasonable. Sears property has crossed that line. When we first viewed the property with one of there agents, they were extremely pleasant, if not a little informal, which i appreciated. We fell in love with the apartment, and the neighborhood so we applied. Our application wasn't accepted, because we didn't pass their credit check. Every credit check i do always shows that I have above average credit, borderline good credit. So I don't know how i didn't pass this part of their credit check. When i inquired as to why i was rejected as an applicant that's when the fun began. They wouldn't even tell me what kind of credit score they were looking for. The Sears representative again and again stone walled me. Refusing to provide me with any information on why I was rejected. They refused to provide me with any information, and just recited that they have a strict policy. Now I asked if we could work something out. Its customary for rental agencies to request a double security or an extra months rent for someone with a questionable credit history. I offered a second security, i even offered several months rent before moving in. No matter what I offered or suggested their representative remained apathetic and really unhelpful. It became clear that they didn't want us to rent from them. My fiance and I really loved the apartment and were really hoping to work something out. However, the staff remained uninterested and unreasonable. I would understand if they showed a little customer service and just explained why they couldn't work with us. But, all I got was uninterested and poor customer service.

Honest,…read morehardworking, and responsive, these people pay attention to detail, and fix any issues which arise in a prompt, professional manner. Oh, and did I mention HONEST? In property management, firms are dealing with large amounts of money. Other people's money. We depend on our property managers to ensure that our financials are handled in an upfront, above board manner, and Atrium Property Services does not disappoint. I have trusted them with payments of large sums, and I can sleep at night knowing that they were handled properly, and above all, LEGALLY. They know the MA State laws, and follow them. Unlike too many others. All communications I have had with these good people have been courteous. Any concerns I had were taken seriously, and addressed, promptly. They were a joy to work with. I say were. Unfortunately, they were driven away by a dysfunctional member of our condo board, and they won't be our property managers any more. People can only take so much disrespect, and these people don't deserve that. They were good, they got the job done, but they weren't sycophants. So, thank you, Atrium, you guys are the very best.
