I went there today with a couple friends. As a first timer you have to watch an 8-minute "orientation". The staff was friendly and happy to help--I'm a Saudi guy at gun range in Indiana!! There's a good range of pistols. As far as prices go, for half an hour $10 for the gun, $10 for the lane, $16.99 for 50 round, and a dollar for earmuffs. It's a great place to kill time when you have nothing to do at Purdue.

AVOID!! Classic Bait & Switch! I dropped off 3 guns here 2 years back and quickly realized how…read moredisgusting their business practices were as I got to know more people in the community. You think you're getting the handiwork of an old school gunsmith but he subs out the work to someone incompetent. Gun 1: asked him to mount a scope for me, came back and it was very crooked. I asked why he didn't use a level and he told me he's never mounted a scope using levels. Guns 2: asked him to install a sight for my Ruger LCR because I didn't want to mar the sight. He took my money and whoever did the install didn't know how to tap a punch and marred the sight Gun 3: asked him to change sights on my glock 17 to TFX sights, he was a glock armorer. Apparently he didn't have a sight press and had no idea how to install a glock sight, or at least whoever did the work... they FILED material off the base of the sight then tried to secure it with a set screw. The sight slid right out when I racked the slide. I'm sure he has good intentions (he's a LEO) when he started the shop and he knew his way around but he probably got busy and hired someone that has no business working with firearms.

I went to JM gunsmith to have a firearm repaired. I found him to be friendly and professional…read more He did the repair more quickly than he estimated which is always nice. Instead of taking 5 days it took 3. I will be bringing him other firearms that I would like to have repairs or adjustments done to.

Immediately on walking in I was greeted and asked if I was looking for anything specific. Zero pressure, decent selection, and a good group of guys. Will absolutely visit again next time I'm in the area.
