This is the most advance system in the entire state if Indiana. Encompassing realistic situational and handgun actions that can train not only civilians but law enforcement. This live fire Professional handgun facility shoots up to 44 Magnum with a safe velocity trapping up to 2000 ft per second. Two lanes offer climate controlled comfort. Automatic target retrieval, sound suppression Ballistic Rubber Trapping (BRT) and is fully lighted or near darkness adjustable for Home Protection situations. Our Large bore Rifle Range can shooting up to 338 Lapua. The range offers 25 yard short range prequalification before moving to the 100 yard shooting position. Safety is paramount with each lane having a Bullet Bunker. Each Bullet Bunker is 4X4 feet and made of 1/2" Armored (AR) Steel. This serves as our Primary bullet trap. The secondary protection is clean sand fill behind the bunkers. The final protection is a berm bunker 7 feet thick, 36 feet long and 9 feet tall inpenetrable wall of sand filled semi truck tires. We just placed in a 3-Gun Competition Range. Our staff is all NRA Certified Instructors. Also offer a Banquet facility.

Indoor range prices are some of the better prices in Il (compared to the $18-20 an hour up north) Darnall's offers $15 per hour for non-members and $12 per hour for members. The Trap and Skeet range are priced very nicely and are very well equipped and maintained. The outdoor range for rifle and pistol isn't anything fantastic, but does go out to 150 yards and is a quiet and clean place to shoot in Il. It's exceedingly hard to find rifle ranges in Illinois. The staff is fantastic. They'll generally cater to your every need (within reason, of course) and have set up the trap range in the dead of winter for me. They also rent guns out (last time I checked it was a S&W M&P auto 9mm, Taurus PT1911 and Ruger MKIII .45/22) for the pistol range. As far as I know they don't allow you to rent rifles and shotguns. Ammo usage is a bit strict on the indoor and will impose a problem on those of us that use combloc ammo. They require brass cases and most combloc ammos are steel cased. Ammo prices there are a bit expensive, as well, but understandable. The ammo they offer is highquality and they have any and all ammo you could ever need. Just be prepared to pay about $2-8 more per box than you do online or at discount stores. I think it's worth the price, though, as you'll never find better service. The selection of guns for sale is fantastic, as well. Any brand you can imagine: they can get their hands on. They can help you out with. They can take care of for you. They even sell Blackpowder and Cowboy action guns for those of us that prefer the oldschool touch. To top it off: they offer topshelf gunsmithing. They seem to know every and any brand of firearm and have parts for them, as well. The gunsmith work is fairly inexpensive and is definitely well worth the price. I highly suggest this range/store/gunsmith to ANY person in the Central Illinois area. Sure, you can buy cheaper ammo. But the question is: can you find better service? You really can't find better service than these folks! Go here, honestly: the best!

I tried to find other shooting ranges close to me that wasn't Crawfordsville. I will not deal with the Crawfordsville Gun Club or my town. I want to travel far from it to shoot. Linden is the only one around and close kinda. Others are either filled with rules,overpriced,and/or a joke. This place is the way to go and we need a lot more pistol/rifle ranges like this and less of the brick and mortar indoor ranges with steep fees and time limits. I believe you have to use their ammo in them brick and mortar corporations. Indiana isn't great when it comes to shooting ranges like the Linden Conservation Club. They do it right and we need a LOT more ranges/clubs like Linden. Keep up the solid work guys. I will be back when I get the funds. I highly recommend the Linden Conservation Club.
