I tried to show them the ammo but he hit me with " im the owner and you cant shoot that" I was with my wife so i didnt want to make it into a big deal and I really wanted to try out my new rifle so I went ahead and bought his ammo which was the cheapest of brass ammo (Belum) but at a premium price. Oh, he even made me leave all the ammo I brought at the front desk. I wish I would of just walked out.... an employee later told me that he would of let me use the ammo I brought if the owner wasn't there. Everything else was fine but it made it really pricey. For 1 time shooting it was the same price as a year membership at Darnells.

This live fire Professional handgun facility shoots up to 44 Magnum with a safe velocity trapping up to 2000 ft per second. Two lanes offer climate controlled comfort. Automatic target retrieval, sound suppression Ballistic Rubber Trapping (BRT) and is fully lighted or near darkness adjustable for Home Protection situations. Our Large bore Rifle Range can shooting up to 338 Lapua. The range offers 25 yard short range prequalification before moving to the 100 yard shooting position. Safety is paramount with each lane having a Bullet Bunker. Each Bullet Bunker is 4X4 feet and made of 1/2" Armored (AR) Steel. This serves as our Primary bullet trap. The secondary protection is clean sand fill behind the bunkers. The final protection is a berm bunker 7 feet thick, 36 feet long and 9 feet tall inpenetrable wall of sand filled semi truck tires. I tried to find other shooting ranges close to me that wasn't Crawfordsville. I will not deal with the Crawfordsville Gun Club or my town. I want to travel far from it to shoot. Linden is the only one around and close kinda. Others are either filled with rules,overpriced,and/or a joke. This place is the way to go and we need a lot more pistol/rifle ranges like this and less of the brick and mortar indoor ranges with steep fees and time limits. I believe you have to use their ammo in them brick and mortar corporations. Indiana isn't great when it comes to shooting ranges like the Linden Conservation Club. They do it right and we need a LOT more ranges/clubs like Linden. Keep up the solid work guys. I will be back when I get the funds. I highly recommend the Linden Conservation Club. Very helpful and nice folks there.
