Our Large bore Rifle Range can shooting up to 338 Lapua. The range offers 25 yard short range prequalification before moving to the 100 yard shooting position. Safety is paramount with each lane having a Bullet Bunker. Each Bullet Bunker is 4X4 feet and made of 1/2" Armored (AR) Steel. This serves as our Primary bullet trap. I tried to find other shooting ranges close to me that wasn't Crawfordsville. I will not deal with the Crawfordsville Gun Club or my town. I want to travel far from it to shoot. Linden is the only one around and close kinda. Others are either filled with rules,overpriced,and/or a joke. This place is the way to go and we need a lot more pistol/rifle ranges like this and less of the brick and mortar indoor ranges with steep fees and time limits. I believe you have to use their ammo in them brick and mortar corporations. Indiana isn't great when it comes to shooting ranges like the Linden Conservation Club. They do it right and we need a LOT more ranges/clubs like Linden. Keep up the solid work guys. I will be back when I get the funds. I highly recommend the Linden Conservation Club. Not…read morehaving ever had formal pistol training before, I feared it might be pretty generic and geared to the lowest common denominator. It's anything but! The course instructor, Jeremiah, is a true subject matter expert who has mastered the skills and techniques he teaches. He has boundless energy and enthusiasm for teaching and does a great job of instructing and coaching. Jeremiah is very dedicated to assuring his students fix what's not working and make continuous improvement. Despite the fact he's very good at pistol handling and shooting, he doesn't leave his students feeling inferior. Much of the training involves safety, drawing the weapon from the holster, dry firing, and then live fire after which Jeremiah analyzes each student's target results for corrective action. I highly recommend training with Jeremiah at Panther Ridge. It's a tremendous value and if students approach the course with the right attitude and practice what they are shown, improvement in pistol handling and shooting is guaranteed.
