The appraisal should have been somewhere between $75 and a $150. I would have loved to give him a great review but I feel he ripped me off and he did. It leaves such a bad taste in my mouth. Service can't be beat and prices are more than fair!…read more We came in to the area to do some riding at Kickapoo for the weekend but I panicked when I remembered that my sisters bike wasn't shifting and my dads bike sounded like it was having problems in the bottom bracket. Started calling around in Danville, worried we were going to be out the bikes for the weekend since it was such short notice for the repairs. Turns out I worried in vain! Keith told me he had any necessary parts in stock and he'd get us on the trail by the next day. I brought both bikes in late afternoon and had them back next morning! Keith replaced a shifter, changed out the broken bottom bracket, adjusted the derailluers, replaced a badly frayed brake cable, reset the disc brakes that were poorly installed on my dads bike and basically did everything possible to make sure we had a safe, fun weekend on the trails. And boy did we ever! Turns out these guys also help maintain and keep open the Kickapoo trails for us all to enjoy. Great job and a big pat on the back to all the KMBC people and THANK YOU!! Nirvana trail is AWESOME! Can't wait to come back next year! Got the exam and took the form they provided. The license branch wouldn't take the form because it was an outdated form. I contacted all about eyes and the manager told me she had just downloaded it from the states site(Lie). I went to the states site that day and it was not the old form. I sent them the correct form and the dr filled it out and they sent it to me in the mail. Fast forward to March 2026 and I get a letter from the state saying that the form was not dated within the 6 month period of my exam date. I got the exam two weeks prior to my license renewal. After checking it out, the form was dated from my previous exam in march of 2025. When I asked to get it corrected, they said they couldn't because if they did they would have to charge me for the additional exam. I told them I would be glad to pay if they would just put the correct exam date on the form. They had the doctor put a line with an arrow to the bottom of the page with a note that said re-tested in September of 2025. The state still wouldn't accept the form. I asked again and was denied! I talked to the area manager in Bloomington and they still refused to fix the form. Now I am facing the fact that I may lose my license because this company will not do the right thing! Their medical director said that I needed to have my eye health checked before they would consider changing the form. I informed them that I had seen a retinal specialist and a cornea specialist in the last few months and my eye health was good! Avoid this place at all costs!

Larry Dieu is a total professional…read more I bought an antique Adrian Pearsall sofa, and the underside was deteriorated. The springs, foam and straps were all disintegrating and falling out every time it was sat on. I let Larry take it in for repair (he picks up your furniture and takes it to his shop in Danville)... he replaced the foam underneath, and put in new straps. It's good as new, and the craftsmanship is absolutely flawless. I will only go to Larry now if I ever need my furniture repaired in the future.
