The ring is pretty. & Im certain they were entirely inauthentic and dismissive. Looking back on the…read moresituation -I would tell you there are plenty more jewelry stores, and/or estate jewelers that are equal distance from this place. I also spoke with a GIA certified gemologist in the area,, Who confirmed my suspicions: they were not an authentic /genuine place to do business with.

I agreed and entered into a verbal contract with a lady at the front for a watch resizing (her…read moretelling me the price and me agreeing and handing over the watch). Upon returning, she rang me up for %150 of the original price, due to the watch being "more difficult than anticipated" (I was still out of the store in less than 8 minutes). She did not let me know at any point they were going to change the service required and add on the watch specialist charge. Had that been communicated, I would have gone to Robert Goodman, another local Zionsville Jewler, who resizes free of charge (highly reccomend him). Althought it was still relatively inexpensive, it was a breach of our contract and there was a lack of communication on their side. Which shouldn't happen at all. Furthermore, the staff lost a piece of my watch during the resizing (one of my pins) and had kept that information from me, until I spoke up after receving the watch back. Although again, it was a relatively small piece, the principal and integrity of the matter still should be held in high regard, even with the little things. After all this happened I asked them to honor the original price and was met with a no. Their other reviews are stellar, I just wish I was met with that same standard today, but unfortunately I was not. If you find and would like to return the missing piece, below is my email. mdktim316@gmail.com

My friend and I had been sending watches here for years. The service and quality of work had always…read morebeen very good. Recently, the number of watches that had to be returned for what appeared to be quality control issues had gone up. Frustrating to say the least. Most recently, I had a vintage Heuer chronograph serviced by Adam. After the several month turn around time, I wore the watch for several weeks with no issues observed (besides lume that was damaged during the service which I was notified about). I put the Heuer back in my watch box where it sat for months. When I took it out to use is again, the watch would run for a while and stop. Also, the chronograph hands weren't resetting correctly. I sent it back in (under the one year warranty) and Adam indicated he made some adjustments. I got it back after several weeks and it was doing the exact same thing. As I was trying to decide whether to send it back again (as we had already had numerous watches returned and were frustrated with the quality of work) the service warranty lapsed. With the watch a month out of warranty, Kokomo refused to look at watch again. Let's not forget it was having the same issue (and obviously was not fixed) as the last time it was sent in. Needless to say, I would not recommend them. If the watch means anything to you, I recommend finding another watchmaker.
