Claims about status of the product and warrt

Beware and stay away. False advertising. I bought a washer and dryer. The washer did not spin since day 1. They claimed this is brand new and under Samsung warranty. When I contacted Samsung they replied: It shows here on our record that the unit is sold by a third party seller and was classified as "As-Is or refurbished" unit. Meaning, it was already sold by the place of purchase, and they have now the full responsibility on the product

Arriving around noonish I expected a long wait to order stain. I was met, at the paint area, by a very friendly and competent woman. Since I was matching the color that my neighbor used she quickly located the correct stain and provided guidance regarding how much stain I needed. She also opened one of the cans to ensure that it was the right color (the had to add tint). Less than 15 minutes later I was checking out and on my way to lunch. Even though Lowes is closer to my home driving to this HD is AOK as H Mart and their food court is right next door.

Tons of selection and you can spend a whole day browsing about. Personally I'm a huge fan of the garden section. Get your houseplants and succulents and hanging baskets of flowers here. I was very tempted by a little cactus in a brown pot, but I didn't want to leave it in the car when I went on with the rest of my errands. Sunlight is one thing, leaving it in what is essentially an oven is another. I picked up the item I was looking for and had no issues checking out, there weren't even any lines this time. Pricing is pretty standard, but I don't get out too many other hardware stores. Not a place I'd drive out of my way for.

We eventually spoke with a gentleman named Dylan who pointed us in the right direction. The selection of chargers was minimal but we ended up finding what we needed. I feel like it's typically Best Buy that has the best value as far as price goes. Anyhow. We spoke to Dylan briefly about returning to purchase a PS5 and a new iPhone 17 pro max for myself and he was kind enough to take us to the correct departments for both of those. We did end up going back for the PS5 and the iPhone, separate times, and unfortunately the iPhone was/is currently still out of stock. Once they re-stock, I'll definitely be back to buy my new phone. It's just so much less chaotic than going directly to Apple or Verizon.

The competition can be intense, and unfortunately there are always scalpers around, which is never fun for collectors. That said, the experience wasn't all bad--I actually met a few nice people while waiting in line and had some fun conversations with fellow fans. Hopefully Best Buy can increase the supply in the future so more collectors get a fair chance. I'll keep trying my luck next time. Wish everyone good luck and happy hunting! Cheers!

I commented, "Great, under $200."They said they had to drive across town to get the two parts they needed, came back about an hour later and installed the parts. Washing machine seemed to be spinning fine after that. When it came time for payment, one of the workers said it was going to be $285. I said whoa, you said $185. Then the two workers started talking numbers and there would be no way $285 would be appropriate, but one of the workers admitted that he might've said $185. They said the parts alone cost $85, which I've since learned from GE that a new motor belt costs only $10. They offered to "undo" the job, remove the parts and leave the job undone, but I'd still owe the $79 service fee. Undo the job?? Seriously?? They offered it to discount the amount to $245, which I paid, not knowing what other choice I had. They said to make up for the misunderstanding, they do another job at a discounted price. They said they could do a dryer vent cleaning for $65. Knowing my dryer vent probably has never been cleaned, I agreed. They were able to pull out a small garbage can full of lint. Later that evening, my dryer would not work, so they had to return the following day and proceeded to pull out just as much lint that day. I didn't realize I was getting the discounted price because they were gonna do half of the job. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Very shady. Angi filed a complaint with them, and they never replied.

****The forthcoming review is for the interaction with management at this Lowe's location***…read more I came into this location several weeks ago for the sole purposes of securing materials for Thing One's Eagle Scout project. When we arrived at the location, we requested to speak with a manager. After a brief conversation with one manager, we were directed to two other managers' specifically the pro sales manager, Craig Cottier, and Brian Scott, the assistant manager of specialty sales. Both of these managers went over the Eagle Scout proposal in depth with Thing One so they could fully understand what he was trying to accomplish. After a lengthy discussion, we were advised by the managers that the store had already reached their donation cap for the year, but they would try to work with Thing One to get discounted materials for the project. While I could pay for the materials myself, for those who are not aware, there is a fundraising component of an Eagle Scout project with specific rules and regulations. Eagle candidates may ask for donations of materials or discounts on materials from companies or individuals. The candidate must furnish a list of prospective donors with their fundraising application, per national policy, for council approval before soliciting the material donations or discounts. Candidates may also hold fundraising events, such as car washes, meat stick sales, and the like, with an approved application. Many scouts do fundraising or ask for donations as it allows them to show their leadership, communication, and project management skills they've learned while in the BSA. Thing One was able to get 28 pieces of 2x8 Pressure Treated Pine for less than $35 (that's a savings of over $350). The Pine was of excellent quality. Because of the generosity of Lowes and Craig and Brian, Thing One was able to complete his Eagle Scout project successfully while living up to the Boy Scout Law of being thrifty.
