Bought 2 appliances from here. 1st was a fridge for my finished basement. Ended up w a bosche fridge that's basically brand new and cost half the price if a new one. It's nicer than the one in our main kitchen. So a year later we needed a washer and dryer. I decided to try my luck again since the first experience went so well. Called Barbara. She sent me pics. I Went with an LG thinq washer dryer combo. Again about half the price of new. I transported myself and possibly loosened something in the washer. It made a noise. Called Barbara. She coordinated getting a repair man over. He took a look. Fixed it in 30 min. Machine is super silent working like new. My advice will be to just let them deliver it. I will be back again for my dishwasher. Be patient find something you love. Let Barbara know what you want. You'll get it. They accept returns for store credit and do gave a high restocking fee. He walked me around to several different models and made sure to tel me about the features of each. They had a good selection that fit my size requirements. I then had to call, email them repeatedly until she finally sent someone. The mechanic said the tank inside was broken and it was not fixable. That it probably fell from the truck and that's why they glued it all around! I was told to send a detailed email and pictures to Barbara and they haven't even have the decency to reply back. I bought this dishwasher, a refrigerator and I was in a waiting list for a Viking range. I would recommend to stay away from this place! The workers in there are cooperative and very helpful. I recently went back to get a microwave & I was disappointed that the deluxe model this on fit into our newly buily island. A friend of mine introduced me to this place. I thought it was just okay. The selection was pretty good. We visited the place in the evening. I decided to come back and look for a refrigerator in daylight hours. While I was there, I noticed they had birds (parrots) in a large cage, and some of them were perched outside of the cage. One my next visit, I noticed a very strong smell of bird poop. I noticed that poop was on many of the appliances. I assume the bird fly around and poop where ever they want. One of the guys showed me a new refrigerator (it still had the plastic on it) and it had a sign on it for 999 from Home Depot. His negotiated price was 800, even though it had very visible scratches. He quoted another more expensive refrigerator from PC Richard that was priced at 1199. His offer was $1000 and just 200 off the marked sales price even though it too had scratch marks, and dings. After my encounter, I decided to buy a new refrigerator sans the bird droppings and pay the extra 400 bucks to a reputable dealer. I ended up finding a comparable refrigerator for 1259 after getting a price match (down from 1399)with a local dealer who sells new appliances in Paramus. I won't mention the store, but it appears to be a very popular appliance dealer in NJ/NY. It took the entire day to get the stench of bird feces out of my respiratory system. I saw quite a few contractors arrive to check out the appliances. Maybe they get the better deals and a reliable appliance because they come back more often to buy more. *** SCAM ARTISTS* WARNING DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I bought a Frigadaire Gallery refrigerator from these scam artists not knowing any better. The infamous Ely who i read is quite the lemon salesman sold me and my wife, according to him, NEW refrigerator. It had plastic and stickers still on it and we loved it. I told him im buying it now and not using it until my kitchen is done renovating and want a longer warranty. He said no need, the fridge is new and nothing is wrong with it besides the scratch and dents on side which we didn't care. Once kitchen was done (past 90 days) we began using it and after 3 days it stopped working, freezer and fridge was warm and we had to throw all the food including my daughters formula. I stopped there in person being that the secretary is the rudest person on the planet and spoke to Martin who saw my receipt and heard my story and said "he would take care of it and won't cost me". Funniest lie i ever heard. He sent over the tech who charged us 100 dollars for the diagnostics. The tech advised us that not only did it have a leak from their delivery but also the compressor was bad. He said it was a old used compressor in it yet the fridge is a 2021 model. The repair would cost 400 to fix and he would come back in 2 days to fix it. From that point on Martin never returned my calls or texts and completely avoided us. I must have called and texted a good 10 times. When i went there in person he was no where to be found. At this point we had no choice but to fix the fridge and deal with repair reimbursement after. I kept the old compressor as evidence and its an old salvage compressor from there store with tags that were half scratched off saying "no relay" after the repairs he still refused to answer my calls and i went over there again and of course he wasn't there. Another salesman heard my story and said he would reach out to him to call me and agrees with me. Later on that night i get a call from the owner "Barbara" who refused to give me her last name and dodged the answers with a nasty attitude and best defense was that i got a good deal on the fridge what else do i want. Place is so illegal by salvaging parts and selling it as new that i can't wait to surface this to the courts and media. Not to mention Osha would have a field day with that disaster of a hazardous workplace. I have all pictures to prove this and there is no exaggeration here. STAY AWAY and learn from me... yet the business owner who hides by a different name is upset that I have the evidence of the salvage compressor. I brought it to show them the salvaged part with bad tags on it in a sealed carry bag. Never shopped for used appliances before so I had no idea what to expect. As soon as I walked in someone asked what we were looking for but we wanted to browse ourselves for a bit. I'll admit, some of the appliances were scary looking with inches of dust on them or the innards hanging out onto the floor but then I realized the warehouse is also a repair and parts center. There were tons of refrigerators, some in almost perfect condition and I couldnt believe they weren't brand new and some that when you opened the door the odor made a fist, punched you in the face and closed the door behind itself. Nothing a little bleach and ammonia couldn't fix but still...damn, lol. They have a variety of refrigerators and you're guaranteed to find one you like, in great condition that will fit in your space, for a great price. I found exactly what I was looking for and the price was half of what I was willing to pay. On the way out I saw a stove that wasn't there when I first came in and looked perfect. I might come back for it. All in all, if you're looking for an appliance this needs to be youre first stop. Not Sears or Macy's or anywhere else. Here. This is the most shady and unprofessional business I've ever had the displeasure of wasting my money at. After buying a dryer that didn't work, their repair men came out and 'fixed' it. It still didn't work. Then they said they would replace it. After 5 days of no deliveries after promises of deliveries, the replacement came. It also didn't work. We hired a private repairman to come look at it. He said "I can't believe anyone would sell equipment in this condition". There were about 5 components of the dryer (this is the replacement, mind you) just laying inside the bottom of the machine. On top of that several of the components we not even for this model. Me and my mother has gone to Sears for the 4th of July sales. We deciced to shop around and try this place for the heck of it. We found a stainless steel Kitchenaid with french doors and pull out freezer bottom for $700. A little dent in the side, but aside from that no other imperfections. They sent a service man and replaced the machine with another faulty machine. They claim the drain hose freezing is the problem. This is not the case. This machine does not spin at all. Attention: They sell BROKEN appliances. I give one star because there is no option for zero. I bought a Samsung dryer from the Appliance Warehouse 124 NJ-17 Paramus on 07/18/2020. I was promised the delivery for 07/22/2020 from 2 to 5 p.m. The delivery showed up at 8 p.m. without a call advising of the delay. Moreover, I was sold a faulty machine; yes the dryer does not work. Consequently, I called the warehouse numerous times. I spoke to the owner - a female - also with representatives Ronnie, Juan among others. I went as far as to contact Samsung directly, for assistance in utilizing the appliance, at which time, a Samsung representative walked me through the process of operating the microwave and was directed step by step to ensure that the appliance was in proper working order; However, the appliance did in fact, heat a glass of water but did NOT heat a plate of solid food. Subsequently, I contacted American Appliance to advise that my purchase was NOT in proper working order and inquired about getting a refund. At which time, I was speaking with a woman who advised me that she was a supervisor and suggested that I could bring the appliance, (which I paid to have delivered and installed) back to the warehouse and when they receive another Samsung microwave (that matches my purchase) they can exchange that one for me, as they do NOT give refunds. WTF!!!!!! The next day, I heard from the salesperson who sold me the set of appliances, who came to my house and did in fact, discover that the microwave does NOT heat solid food. He advised me that he would be receiving another shipment of appliances (in the next few days) and would call me once they've arrived I was sold an appliance that is NOT in working order!!! You do NOT have the same make and model in stock and can NOT guarantee me that you'll get the microwave that matches my other appliances, as I had purchased them as a set and had my kitchen remodeled accordingly. When I asked for the name of the manager, so that I can discuss my concerns and (if need be) take it a step further, I was told that the owner's name on public record, if I wanted to know who was in charge of the establishment. I wish i could give this place zero stars but, unfortunately, one is the lowest. A family member needed an affordable washing machine so we went here and purchased a washer with a 1 year warranty. They came to the house and installed it. The washing machine was only running with scolding hot water. No cold water at all. We called them and they scheduled a repair man to come the next day between 4-6 so we waited.. and waited. he did not show. This happened not once, not twice, not THREE times but FOUR times. Each time was more and more infuriating .. the owner promises up and down and straight up lies to you. The owner so tries to blame it on the repair man like "oh he must have forgotten" .. take some accountability! This is your "business!" Even if it was the repair man's fault, that's YOUR employee. The fourth time this happened we decided to go to the store and give them hell. We even had a lawyer write up a letter for us. We walked in to find a woman screaming at the top of her lungs to the owner about a fridge he sold her that basically was broken and she lost over $400 in food and had family visiting with no cold food now. the owner said the best he can do is to pick it up in a few days and try and service it at the store. He just does not care. Absolutely horrific customer service. When it was our turn, we presented the letter to him and spoke to him in a reasonable manner. Once Antonio, the owner, saw the lawyer letter he got the mystery repair man right away and sent him to the house to fix it. Some of the worst customer service I've ever seen! Especially from the owners, Antonio and his son Martin. Ive been going to their store for years and have bought dozens of appliances, maybe 25-30 over the years for my real estate business. Not including my referrals of my friends and family I go their recently, Martin takes my order and tells me to call back the following week. I call the warehouse and Antonio says to come in to see their stock. This is 2 days after I originally stopped by. Now all of the sudden prices have risen for no reason. he shows me a stove that didn't match my criteria at all, and tries to convince me the prices have gone up over the course of 2 days. I ask to speak to his son, whom I placed the original order with. he wont allow me to speak with him, nor does he respond when i leave a message. CONSUMERS BEWARE - there are other Appliance places that have a better business practices. They are not honest, and Ive had issues with their appliances in the past. Having gone through my most recent experience with them, its not worth the savings or the perceived savings they present. We wanted to buy a 42" refrigerator so badly so the signs were ignored that went off in my head that said beware!!! I purchased 2 washing machines from this place. First washing machine didn't last very long. When I went there to purchase my 2nd washing machine, I was scheduled for a delivery date. Appliance warehouse called me and told me that the washing machine that I selected was unavailable because it couldn't be repaired. They then selected another washing machine for me and scheduled another delivery date. After having received that washing machine, on the day it was delivered THAT washing machine wasn't working properly!! After I called them to let them know, they offered to send out a repair man. I let them know that this was unacceptable and that I wanted a different washing machine. They then scheduled me for another delivery. On that delivery date, the delivery person was a no show for the scheduled time. When I called, I was told that the delivery was cancelled as the washing machine needed a new part. This is the worst business I have ever dealt with in my life. I would never purchase anything from these guys ever again. To see that there is another person on here who has posted another awful review on the same day is ridiculous. This is the 3rd day I have left early from work to supposedly come meet a delivery guy who never shows up. They will apologize up and down and still not deliver. The location is the most disgusting sketchy warehouse you have ever been to and the birds flying around are terrifying. They seem like they want to please and then they never deliver. I would never recommend this to anyone, spend the extra money and go to best buy or pc richards at least you'll get appliances that work and good service read more

Terrible experience. Stay away from an individual who goes by the name of Adam. Very phony and shady person. I went to buy a washer and dryer unit, was supposed to have my unit delivered almost a week after i purchased it, I got a phone call the day of the delivery saying they just realized the unit wouldnt work in my apartment so they needed to re-deliver 2 days later. the day of the reattempted delivery came nobody came to my house, I tried calling them like 5 times and nobody picked up the phone. I decided to drive to the warehouse and this Adam individual was there and he told me how they were so busy but promised me that my unit would be deliver within an hour. I waited around for 3 more hours and of course I called them again from home but nobody picked up so I had to drive there again! Luckily the owner was there who was actually a more honest and fair person. She apologized how this Adam kid messed up the order for us. In the meantime this kid walked inside the office, did not even apologize for his error and just ignored us completely. Stay away from Adam Garcia, he is the most unprofessional and immature sales person in that place!! read more

Also known as Rt. 17 Appliances. I needed to replace a washing machine quickly and economically. Martin gave me an idea of what a used washer would cost over the phone, and sure enough when I came in, he showed me what was in that range. They actually had a Kenmore model like the one I needed to replace. Delivery ($25, a bargain!) came during the time frame promised. The guys were skilled at getting the machine into the basement, hooked up, and getting the old one out. Professional and polite. Washer works great, looks fine, and has a six month guarantee. I can't believe all the negative remarks. Yes, they were late on the delivery, but saving all the money I did, was worth it. They cleaned and shined everything. Saved over $750. I am a landlord, and it is certainly a great place to replace old equipment. They not only deliver, but remove old and install me. I will go back again for sure. read more
