My stove stopped heating past 350 degrees, and the technician's diagnosis "that the membrane was damaged from "excessive heat" rather than normal wear and tear" felt unsupported given that I had photographic evidence from my 2021 and 2025 home inspections showing the panel's appearance had never changed. I felt my evidence and concerns were being dismissed. However, I'm updating my review because the owner personally reached out to me to discuss the situation. she listened, took my concerns seriously, and committed to making it right by covering the repair. That kind of accountability and customer care goes a long way. While the initial experience was rocky, the owner's willingness to step in and resolve the issue speaks well of the company's integrity. I appreciate businesses that stand behind their customers when it counts. Hopefully this is a sign of the service others can expect going forward. To add to that, this is the only company with great reviews AHS has in their vendor list. If you get them you are lucky. If they were not one of the verndors, I was going to cancel my home warrenty. Why pay for warrenty that you can never use when you need it.

One minute he is putting his booties on to come in my house and the next after I said he was late and I would back in just a few minutes he suddenly had "something personal" come up. I find this behavior very unprofessional and inappropriate. My time is valuable. I took time to be here for you and you were late. The least you can do is wait ten minutes for me to return.

He turned info in to AFC and they said due to the dishwashers age (6 years) they would only authorize $208 dollars for repair or the same amount toward replacement. So I chatted several times with Melony about the pros and cons on continuing to repair (another $250ish) or just biting the bullet and buying a new one. Her and eventually my philosophy was that they could repair the electronic guts, but chances are the heating element or pump or something else would die and be hastened by our wonderful hard water. So in essence, she talked me out of further service with them and obviously less fees. Now I call that an honest and professional approach. They could have talked me into the repair, and my machine could have died again from something else fairly soon and then more money down the drain. So even though I had to order and pay more than I was anticipating, working with them was the right way to go.
