Repair Masters is the warranty company for my GE refrigerator, which was purchased in November 2012. Since this refrigerator arrived at my home almost five years ago it has been a problem. To say that this refrigerator is a lemon, is an understatement. Repair Masters had been to my home at a minimum of 20 times to repair this refrigerator. They just can not get the job done. I have had terrible service from this company. We are at a point that the repair person does not know what the problem is with it and why they can not fix it. For the first few years the refrigerator was freezing everything and now it goes through cycles during the day where there is heavy condensation on everything. Several hundreds of dollars of food has been ruined over the years and now I am constantly cleaning mold from the shelves. I would have given Repair Masters zero stars, had it been possible. Now they are not even answering or returning my calls for another repair appointment. This company is a joke!!! read more

First of all the guy was supposed to be at my house at noon then calls at 4 and says he's running late. So when he finally shows up at 5 he takes my fridge apart and says my main control board is bad and could cost up to $400. I'll call you with a price on Monday. The next week around Thursday I call him after no call and he says the parts must have had to be ordered because he don't have them? Okay how much is it? I told you $350. No he did not but anyways to this day over a month never heard anything. I found the evap fan harness unplugged so I clipped it in and it works great. Called the west county phone number for this company due to my fridge not cooling. Tech arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad Adaptive Defrost Timer. He said the parts were hard to come by, but he happened to have one on his truck. The kicker, part cost was $230. While he was looking for the part on his truck, I googled the part, and found many sellers on ebay and Amazon...in the $30 price range. I told him to forget the part. I paid for the service call ($68) and ordered and installed the part myself with help from a Youtube video. I think their parts markup is WAY TOO HIGH, but the service call was worth the price for the diagnosis. read more

While fixing my fridge, the service repair man asked me to help him by handing him screws for the cover. I was happy to help. As I helped him, he began to lecture me on his personal politics. I consistently gave non-replies, but he continued to pursue the subject. Lecturing me in my own home on his politics while I am paying him?!? I have previously had this company out for a repair and they were fantastic the first time! So naturally when I had a appliance problem again I knew who to call! Then the second time I had the technician call and leave a voicemail that he was on his way. An hour went by and there was no technician yet. I called to see if he was coming and he had stated he was already here and that I was not home but I had been here all morning with my two small children waiting for him so that I could leave to go to work once he was finished. He was very rude on the phone and kept saying he had been here and has already moved on to his next call. Therefore I had to waste my morning waiting on a technician to never show. Similar to another reviewer the repair man showed up late and my wife thought he was trying to fix the fridge but he could figure it out and guessed it was the french door flap. He said he would do some research and call us back. He never called back so after 2 weeks I called him and he said he had to order parts. Called again after 4 weeks and he said he didn't forget about me, I gave him my number so he could call me back. I called again after 8 weeks and he said he lost the ticket. After reading similar reviews I decided he has lost the chance to keep my business. I found the part on line he thinks was the problem along with a video on how to replace the part.
