There's a simple floor/carpet push button that controls whether the brushes turn--and it was never switched. That's it. No repair needed. I feel completely misled and taken advantage of. A reputable business would have shown me the issue in 10 seconds instead of charging over $100 for something that didn't need fixing. THEY LIED Very disappointing experience. I meandered to the back where it said Geek Squad and asked about where I could find an Apple genius. The guy was untactful telling me that it was the car area. I don't know the ins and outs of Geek Squad and he just was t helpful. Then when I tracked down a guy near the Apple products he told me go to Geek Squad near the checkout. So I did that and told the Geek about my appointment. To which he told me they don't replace the screens there, don't even have parts for it and wasn't sure why Apple let me make an appointment to have it solved at this location. This guy was actually nice at least and gave me helpful information on where to go next.

I brought it in to this store, and the fella ran it for a second, poked at it, then put on a new belt. Quick and easy! The charge was surprisingly low... the fella was a doll. Love my Kirby, and love my Kirby store! I also want to add that if you are looking for a Kirby, they have refurbished models at the store... wish I'd known THAT when I bought mine!!!
