Went in yesterday for a upright freezer. After experiencing terrible service at lowes and home depot I came here expecting the worst. Mike Burden helpes me and my brother out. He showed us options and even after taking up a lot of his time with questions he made us feel like we were the only people in the store. I got my upright freezer and with mikes suggestion i found just the right pillow for me. My brother found a new bed with a ajustable base at a good price. Went online to look for an OTR microwave. Put in the Westminster location in the website before searching. A nice unit came up at a good price so I went ahead and purchased it. I did not receive a confirmation. later I found that I had a voice mail. The call did not come through as it showed up as Spam. The call was to tell me that I had to go to the store 1 hour away in Parker, Co to pick it up. I went into the Westminster store and met with a very rude employee. I asked for him to call a manager for me and he refused. I called the person who's name was on my invoice and worked at the main warehouse, and he was just as rude. His name is Kyle. I asked him to contact a manager and he also refused to get me in contact with a manager. He finally said he could have it shipped up to the Westminster store, but it would be 10 days. Bought a brand new GE fridge (over $1500.00) because of the GE reputation. Three weeks later it broke and stopped running, ruining all the food inside. They refused to do anything about it, telling us we needed to call GE because they handle all their own warantee work. The guy we ended up contacting through GE (a private handyman, hired by GE to do their local repairs) came and told us it was either a surge or an outage of power that caused this to happen! We called Appliance Factory to make arrangements for them to come and pick up this piece of junk and we were told they don't do that, - again, we had to contact GE for them to come get it, which includes a 25% restocking fee!! This organization and its people are sure happy to tell you whatever necessary to make a sale, but they DO NTO STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS. I WOULD NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS ORGANIZATION AGAIN. They are the worst I have ever seen. If I could rate this store a 0 star rating, I would but it is not an option. read more

We ordered a brand-new washer from Appliance Factory over a week ago because they had it in stock and could deliver soonest. Unfortunately, the unit delivered to us was broken. Since then, we've spent over a week trying to get a resolution and have experienced unprofessional, unhelpful, and at times rude customer service. Communication has been consistently poor: calls and messages go unanswered or are met with dismissive responses. With a toddler at home and no functioning washer, this has caused significant inconvenience and stress. We chose Appliance Factory for speed and reliability, but have received neither. We strongly urge Appliance Factory to make this right immediately by delivering a new, working washer or issuing a full refund without delay. Until then, we cannot recommend this company. Bait and switch on rebates... told us there was a $200. rebate for washer and dryer and showed us a QR code... after purchase turns out the rebate was for different equipment but wouldn't respond to out 2 calls to store, 3 emails to "Presidents Hotline" and blew us off in 1 visit back to store. In the end, it would have been cheaper and easier to get it from Lowes... they attach rebate at checkout, there was less add-on costs and actually have customer service... Appliance Factory was horrible... learn from us and go to. place that isn't trying to constantly upsell you, add extra costs at the end and scam you on rebates... avoid Appliance Factory!!!!! read more

I bought a GE dishwasher at the end of October, 2025. When it was installed, I was told that there were some broken parts. Two later and it was fixed. It took three weeks for my brand new dishwasher to finally work. The customer service was abysmal. I would never recommend this business to anyone. I urgently needed a fridge and paid over $1,300 for the fridge, delivery, and installation. Delivery was delayed over a week, and when the drivers finally showed up, they never left their truck, ignored me, and then claimed they couldn't find my unit and tried calling me. Management refused to send them back, and when I followed up, I was told I'd have to wait another week. No one apologized, and staff acted like it was my fault. Very poor customer service--Mikel, in particular, showed no urgency or accountability he definitely doesn't need to be in a management role...I do not recommend this location. read more

I am very unhappy with my service from Appliance Factory Outlet. I purchased kitchen appliances and they have been out 5 times to install and I am still not happy with outcome. I was told my fridge is not keeping correct temperature and to throw my food out and they would have to come back. The manaer won't even speak to me anymore. When they came to install stove and fridge, I was told they will not install the fridge until I had a seperate shut off vale, so I had to call a plumber and have one installed and wait another week before they came out again. When they came to install the microwave and dishwasher I was told they could not install the dishwasher as it was hardwired and they needed an electrical outlet to install. I had to get an electrician out to iinstall outlet and they came back a few days later to finish installing. I had contacted the manager asking why this wasn't addressed when ordering? She had stated they don't know until they get there for installation. They came the following week and my doors on the fridge are not even. I was told that is all they could do and that is the way they are. I called the manager to complain and she stated they would contact Whirlpool to send someone out. Again, having to wait another week and who came for the fridge, I was told that the temperature is off and that I should throw away my food that I just purchased. They also said my fridge had been delivered in December to someone. I was told this is new fridge but am doubting that. The person taped a door up to allow air from the freezer to cool off my fridge. I had called to make a complaint about that and the manager wouldn't even speak to me and I was told that I didn't purchase a warranty so they couldn't do anything. I was never offered one when I purchased so didn't think about it nor did I think I would need one within two weeks of having it installed. I called Whirlpool to register my appliances and they said I should get a warranty. I would not buy appliances from these people. They want your money and then you are on your own. They don't care. I will be contacting Whirlpool again to voice my complaints with them. read more

Very mixed experiences with this company. Consumer prices are not bad. However, they are VERY vocal about having a very disjointed organization. Sales stores, installation services and warranty company are not one in the same. They have communication and coordination issues. I bought a Samsung dishwasher which lasted 2 years and 3 months. After one month of messing around order boards, etc., the young and questionably knowlegable repair boy determined it could not be repaired. There was absolutely no consideration was provided on the price of a new one. Please beware the warranty pays a depreciated value for which the calculation is top secret. So...please remember this when paying the $129 installation / delivery, $229 warranty and another $100 or so on top of the purchase price - you will pay it all again if the machine fails. They do not stand behind what they sell. (Do the math - they make MUCH moe money if you buy a warranty then claim the unit cannot be repaired) Caveat emptor! read more

What a horrible experience. I bought a washing machine and paid for delivery and pick up. I was told they would call the night before and let me know the delivery window. They never called. So I Called the morning of delivery, because I had an appointment that day, and I was told my delivery window was 3:15 to 4:15. So I changed my appointment around which was in downtown Denver, so I would be home in time for my delivery. They called me at 12:45, while I was in Denver and said they were 5 minutes away. I was not home so they did not deliver and then never answered their phone for the rest of the day. So I called Mikel Munro and he said it was out of his hands. When I told him I would not shop there anymore he said that's fine "Cheerio" He said he emailed the delivery team but they never responded and I would not be getting my delivery that day. He also gave me a number to call to talk to the delivery people. I called about 10 times with no answer. When I finally got thru the guy said that was not his department so he walked across the hall and gave the delivery manager the message and said he would call me back in 5 minutes to resolve the problem. Never called. I called again about twenty more times and no one would answer the phone. I called the President's Hotline, about six times, guess what, no answer!!! So today the store Manager called me back and said she was going to talk to the delivery manager and he would give me a call in 5 minutes. An hour later he finally called and all he did was lie to me and tell me he did not know any of this was going on. He also said he called me and left me a message, another lie. When I told him the guy I talked to yesterday said he gave you the message and you would call me back and he said no one ever talked to him, another lie. When I told him Mikel Munro emailed you yesterday and you never responded and he said no one emailed him, another lie. So today I took more time off of work so I could load up my old Washing machine and drive done there and pick up my the new one myself. Once they get your money no one cares anymore about the customers experience. From Mikel who sold me the machine to the delivery people to the delivery manger that all he did was lie to me. Mikel even knew I was going out of town and time was important. He could of easily said come down to my store and pick out something else off my floor and I will cut you a deal and you can take it home with you, but no. Instead he said it is out of my hands. He might as well have said I got my commission deal with the delivery yourself, which is exactly what I had to do. Horrible, Horrible customer service and lies without hesitation. read more

Would absolutely not recommend this company to anyone! I came in on Labor Day weekend to purchase a new fridge and stove. I did make a purchase of a stove and fridge that weekend. I delayed delivery because I was leaving the country and the fridge was delivered to me in late September. I took the day off of work to be there (my own PTO) for the delivery and make sure all was well. The delivery was 4+ hours late and I was late to coaching at my gym which is a hobby and commitment of mine. Upon arrival (5 hours late), the delivery guys say they left their dolly at the last location but seemed to think it would be fine. They brought the fridge in and scratched up my floors on the landing, stairs, the upper floor in the kitchen-- the cost of repairing is in the $1,500 range which I just got a quote on because of all of what has happened. They're real hardwood floors. They installed the fridge and the right corner of the fridge was not properly set so it was leaking cold air. The only fault that I take in this is that sadly the fridge did not fit on the right side because the door was so thick that it hit the side wall. Then, I asked the delivery guys to move my old fridge into the garage so we could use it as a spare. Upon moving it, they destroyed the plug. I had to pay to get that repaired--- another $100. The saga continues past this and has totaled me $3,000 in losses to which I am now filing with small claims court. No urgency, no response, no care--- Home Depot or Lowes would do a better job at treating their customers with respect. read more

Easily the worst experience I've ever had with any store of any kind. We purchased a microwave/oven combo on June 1st. It is now over 2 months later and the thing is still not installed. The problems started on the day it was scheduled to be delivered and installed. The installer (who does not work for Appliance Factory) called and said the unit was damaged -- a badly dented handle -- and recommended that the handle be repaired before they brought it out. Disappointing, but not a problem so far. These things happen. Most stores are diligent at resolving these kinds of problems. So I call the guy who sold us the unit, explained the problem, and he said he would order a new handle and have it installed in their warehouse. All good. Except over the next month and a half, I kept not hearing back. Two more times I called him, and it was obvious each time that he had not ordered the handle. Finally he said everything was taken care of, and we scheduled delivery and installation. The installer arrived. Lo and behold, there's a big dent in the handle. The sales guy had not taken care of it, in spite of saying three separate times that he had. Forget it, we thought, just install the stupid thing and we'll deal with the handle later. We were starting to hate this oven by proxy. Turns out he couldn't install it because we had a 20A circuit and the newer oven required 30A. Again, just one of those things. We had him leave the oven in the garage and haul away the old oven. Our son-in-law, an electrician, came over that same evening and took care of the amperage issue. I call the sales guy back the next morning to get re-scheduled for installation. Soonest I can schedule you is 10 days out, he says. I'm getting deeply unhappy at this point, but agree to it. What about the replacement handle? I'll order that right now, he says. I pointed out that he had told me on 3 previous occasions that he had already ordered it. I'll order it now, he repeats. Right. My wife says, You know they're not going to be here. I, being a naive optimist, say, Given everything that has transpired so far, surely they are trying to make things right by now. She gives me the gimlet eye but says no more. So this morning was the morning the installer was supposed to be here. We had no word from them, so I called the store. They had not scheduled me like the sales guy said he had. I get on the phone with the manager. I'm a mild-mannered, elderly person who seldom raises his voice, but I had had it. I'm shouting. The manager is shouting back, offended that I would even imply that they were giving me the run-around. I demand he gets someone out today. He says that's not possible. More shouting. More taking offense when I say they have repeatedly not done what they said they would do. He finally says he will have the installation contractors call me directly. By the end of the call my heart is pounding so hard I go lay down. Not a spring chicken any more. Still haven't heard from the installation people, so our son-in-law is coming over this afternoon to install it for us. We're ordering a handle and will put that in ourselves. These people are deeply unethical. When something goes wrong they do nothing to address the problem, but blame it on others in the company. It's the warehouse's fault. It's the parts departments fault. It's the delivery people's fault. And obviously they see elderly customers like my wife and I as easily brushed off after they get our money. I dearly wish I had read the other Yelp reviews on this place before giving them my money and getting sucked down into their swamp of irresponsibility and blame-shifting. Incredible how expensive this place is despite their consistent "sale". I've been in here three times the last year shopping for appliances. For the dishwasher I was looking for they quoted me full retail, Best But had exactly the same model for $95 less (not on sale). For a electric range they had a 'blow out sale' so I buy it "thinking I'm getting a great deal" 3 days later in in Home Depot and the exact same model is $40 less. I go in shopping for a refrigerator and their price is $130 more than Home Depot for the exact same model. Supposedly they do a price match for up to 30 days after they deliver. However, in my experience they wouldn't even match the current advertised prices of local competitors BEFORE I purchased. For example, for a Bosch dishwasher they quoted me full retail price while Best Buy had it for $80 less. They were not interested in price matching in my case. Maybe they will match on some other brands. The appliances they have in the used and parts area of the store come from them selling a new appliance to a person and getting the old one as part of their 'free pickup and disposal'. Then they fix it at parts cost and turn around and sell it for hundreds of dollars to the next person. So the person that buys a new appliance here not only over pays for the new appliance, they give away a repairable appliance so these guys can make even more money off of them. If they want to make money on both ends of the deals they should at least match the best price on the new appliance. What a racket! read more

Bought a damaged in shipping but new washer from here. Received a clearly used model (hair in drum, soap scum as well, smell of detergent). Asked for full refund and was promised to get one. Unit was picked up, but we found that we were charged $80 in delivery charges for both initial delivery and subsequent pickup... of washer we had at no point agreed to purchase from AF. I would have checked Amazon first except I couldn't find a part number. I needed to replace a refrigerator door bin and went to this appliance parts store. They way overcharged for this part ($65). Later when I got home, I decided to check Amazon since I had the actual part number I got from Appliance Factory. Amazon has them for around $18. Had I know the part number beforehand, I would have been able to buy it from Amazon. Use this place only if it's an emergency and you need something now. What gets me is the fact that the location on 84th quoted me $47. The Westminister location insisted it was $ 59 before tax. read more

We bought a used stackable washer and dryer from the store for a rental property we own in Boulder. After our tenant used it for the first time they discovered that the machine leaked from the bottom. Not from the connections in the wall with the discharge, but from the actual wash basin itself. That water seeped through our floor and went directly down to the unit below our condominium. The damage was extensive. It's saturated the ceiling got into the light fixtures and damaged a mattress One of the individuals living in that unit. When we brought this to the stores attention, they deny responsibility and basically told us we're out of luck. They were claiming no responsibility for the faulty defective machine they sold us in good faith that only had been used once. I would urge anybody reading this to never shop at this store do not trust them. They are not honest people, they do not stand behind what they sell and they do not have any sense of right and wrong or doing the right thing. I am going to take responsibility myself for the damage that was caused by their defective machine. We had to personally pay to replace the damaged mattress, the damage ceiling and all of the repairs that went with it. Had I not shopped at the store, none of this would've ever happened. My wife was not satisfied with the purchase (yes we paid for purchase) or mattress & we decided not to take Delivery which was scheduled for Oct 9, 2018. When I called the Appliance Warehouse Sept 28, 2018 in Westminster, CO I was told by 'Jeremy' store Mgr' I would need to drive back to this uncooperative, non customer friendly, unconcerned Business for my refund even though I had my Credit Card in hand to give to ''Jeremy' over phone. This 'Jeremy' Appliance Warehouse 'Mgr' stated you need to drive back to Westminster; I live in Lone Tree, CO 31 miles away. Once I arrived back at Westminster, CO Jeramy said little too me & just rudely 'glared' at me as he wrote up my refund after taking my credit card. I proceeded to ask Jeremy at this point if he ever worked for a New Car Dealer where Car Dealerships would at one point in history throw your car keys for car you drove in with on roof of Dealership Building so one couldn't 'leave' until one purchased a New Car. Our dyer broke, it would tumble but not have any heat, so we went to appliance factory for an $80 part but instead walked out with spending around $500 total for a new dyer. Keep in mind that the dryer was actually not that price, that includes taxes and delivery charges and what not. Ed Achziger, the assistant manager, originally sold us the dryer, with the help of an associate named nick. Ed was your typical quick talking salesman. He was very knowledgeable but when my boyfriend tried to haggle, he was very unhelpful. It took us leaving to look elsewhere, come back and talk to Nick a little bit, to get Ed to budge a little bit. In the end, we did get a really good deal on a brand new dyer. I would have left a three star rating if it wasn't for the two guys who delivered the dryer. Gene (I'm pretty sure that's his name, I couldn't really tell on the form) and Kris delivered our dyer. They were very professional and nice. Gene knew his protocols and explained everything. They were careful when taking the broken one and bringing the new one up. I was left very impressed by them, which is why I gave a four star review. read more

I was very glad to be able to replace an old dryer within a matter of days after an unsatisfactory transaction with another big box store. That store dropped the ball and refused to properly place the new one inside and connect it. David the salesman at Appliance Factory was very professional and direct about all the delivery and installation details. The store followed all recommended precautions for virus situation both in the store and in my home. My fridge ice maker went out and it wasn't worth fixing. I was able to find a beautiful used fridge at this location. I decided it would be smart to add on the extended warranty they offered and made sure to ask if the ice maker goes out is it covered under your warranty. The sales person assured me it was and I left a satisfied customer. 5 months later the ice maker stopped working. I called to check on getting it fixed through my warranty I purchased and was told the warranty does not cover ice makers. Typical tell the customer anything to make a sale mentality. The repair man said that this fridge has been worked on before and that the compressor has definitely been changed before. I couldn't have had a worse experience. To start with, the "sales manager" gave me incorrect information about standardized appliance electrical connections and then wrote up the invoice for the wrong product, which we didn't realize until it was delivered. Next the lady who helped fix the screw up failed to tell us that the "open box" item that we agreed to upgrade to for an additional $500+ was heavily damaged and, according to the delivery guy, was categorized as a "D" grade. On top of that, the drain line was cracked and flooded our laundry room. It also doesn't run as described in the manual. The "sales manager" that f'd up the original order was supposed to have a service tech out here today or contact me today to schedule and it's been 24 hours with no response. To top that all off, I have asked 3 different associates over the past week to email me a copy of my invoice/receipt and still don't have an email (other than the delivery reminders/confirmations). Based on the atroscious level of service, I now understand why their prices are so good. The only thing that could've made my experience worse would have been if they took my money and filed bankruptcy before delivering anything or if the delivery guys robbed my house. We purchased a dryer at this store last week and it was supposed to be delivered Saturday between 10 am and 12 pm. When no one had showed up by 12:30, we gave them a call and they asked us to call back in about half an hour. We called back again at 1:30pm, and after putting us on hold they said they'd call back to let us know what going on. No call. WE called THEM again at 6pm and their excuse was that they "couldn't find the dryer in the warehouse". Really? They then said they'd TRY to get it out on Monday. We called Monday to see what time they'd be able to deliver it, got put on hold and was told to wait for a call back AGAIN. Should've known better than to go back after the first time shopping with them. While that time they showed up at the scheduled time, they didn't install the new fridge nor take away the old one like they had charged for! Prices aren't all that great, either. You're better off buying somewhere else, and you'll get things delivered on the promised date. read more
