The…read morestaff here makes scheduling the appointment easy and the procedures and financing understandable and with affordable options. I wish every office I went into had this kind of attitude. Dr. Perry is one of the most compassionate doctors in this field. She will explain everything to you and walk you through every step. I can't promise if you don't like needles that you will love this office. It's an unfortunate circumstance of the procedure. The staff is all very balanced and coordinated. I caught myself saying wow several times when the doctor and her assistant Sarah were going constantly back-and-forth with the different tools needed and very little discussion was necessary. In the end, it didn't look so good for my tooth, and she gave me some very real options to discuss with my dentist after she sends some great 3-D imaging to him with a detailed letter. She explained that we could do the procedure and it might last a year, or I might choose to have an extraction. She values her work, and she would expect that any work she does would last him a long time if it is to be done properly. My last procedure done in 2001 has given me no problems at all. I always have the option of going back and finishing my procedure if I choose, and I would not have to pay the full fee. This is an example of an A+ office.

After visiting my dentist, I learned that Dr. Perry had seen a fracture in my tooth before performing the root canal. This information was never shared with me. Had I known, I may have chosen a different treatment. Now, after paying for a very expensive root canal, I am going to have to pay for a crown. I would not recommend Dr. Perry to anyone.

They first treated me fir a dental emergency even though I was not their patient. When Thomas Cleary began accepting new patients we immediately applied. The doctor did a comprehensive consultation and discussed our goals and pointed out issues which needed attention proposing options and prioritization. Very thorough and congenial. The entire team is efficient and friendly. The front office are so pleasant in their communications. The hygienist who did my first cleaning was very thorough and gave me explanations of what she was doing and where and how to improve my daily oral hygiene. This is a truly professional practice with pristine facilities and they treat you cordially and warmly. Wonderful!

They are about the least condescending medical providers I've ever known, and in all ways are professional, courteous and accommodating. Let's just take this as an example. Like most other medical providers, you have to fill out some paperwork when you first arrive. Fair enough. The *very first line* was "How do you want to be called?" Now I despise strangers calling me by my first name; it is rude and utterly non-professional. So I put down "Mr. T_______." And sure enough, they call me that, each and every one, without fail, without bobbling, every time. They ask questions. They sit down with you to plan out what work needs doing, what's affordable, and they LISTEN. If you're anywhere within striking range of Cleary, and you need dental work, give them your business.

Chaotic and Unprofessional!…read more DON'T GO HERE. The place is owned, along with Arch Dental in Northampton, by a certain Dr. Khan. I needed two extractions and two implants. He told me the cost would be $6,600. Before he did the extractions, I told Khan that because I worked for many years in war zones, both pain and the sight of bleeding are PTSD triggers for me. After the extractions, he told me I was done for the day and I could get up. I went to use the bathroom, looked in the mirror and saw my face utterly smeared in blood. He hadn't even bothered to wipe it off. I said to Khan, "Remember I told you..." and he just grunted and walked away. The entire place is chaotic, people running in and out of various rooms, talking very fast. After receiving the anaesthetic I was left to sit for a while, and in walked the assistant who blurted out, "OH! I forgot you were in here." By the time Khan arrived the anaesthetic was wearing off and I had to have another injection. Khan is obviously trying to become a millionaire by age 40 but he takes no time with his own personal care - his ears were full of white soap residue that he forgot to rinse out, his hair was full of dandruff. The treatment chairs have holes in them. The drawers have the front piece off. More than once during my procedures, they stopped and ran around the place looking for an instrument or a material that they had forgotten to provide in advance. The bone grafts he did, did not "take". He inserted the screws and it was incredibly painful. I was howling in pain. At that point most dentists would say, "I'm sorry it hurts," right? Not Khan - he said, "It's not supposed to hurt!" as if I were faking my pain! He ripped out one implant screw covered in gore, showed it to me, and said, "You are the ONLY ONE who has this problem! It's because you smoke cannabis!" (I have a prescription and do smoke moderately.) I asked some of my friends and co-workers, and actually implant rejection is not all that uncommon.| He then said he would do bridges instead, and shunted me off to a newly hired female dentist who seemed like she was high on something. She at one point prepared to drill on the left side of my mouth, completely forgetting that she hadn't bothered to administer the anaesthetic yet! She insisted she had and pointed to a previously used needle on the tray. It took some convincing to make that lady understand that she had used that needle on the other side of my mouth. EDIT - I forgot to mention that when I was taken into the X-ray cubicle, the informational screen had the images and patient record OF ANOTHER PATIENT. I stood there reading it in front of the technician and she didn't even notice, until I said, "I should not know that Mrs. So-and-So has two implants in the front of her mouth!" The billing department is likewise incompetent and couldn't even give me a balance owed. When my procedures were finally finished, I told them very frankly that I was displeased with my care and wouldn't be coming back. The hygenist answered me snottily, "Well you are certainly free to go somewhere else!" I sure will. And you should to.
